In this paper, a methodology for effectively treating daily waste at D metropolitan city is considered using reverse logistics(RL) network. Currently, eight district offices at D metropolitan city are treating their daily wastes using each RL network. However, unfortunately, current method has a weakness such as inefficiency of RL network operation. Therefore, we propose a revised method for improving the inefficiency. In case study, we compare the performances of the current and revised methods using various real-life data. The analysis result shows that the revised method outperforms the current method.

Second, the necessity of adopting subject divisional plan is to secure enough subject librarians and large space These necessities must be fulfilled prior to adopting the subject divisional plan. Third subject divisional plan model for efficient reference service of university library is 'wide-area subject divisional plan model'. 1) In the case of central library, the space model of wide-area subject divisional plan is programmed as undergraduate library for the undergraduate students. And each subject libraries is operated as research library for the professors and graduate students. 2) In central library, the collection model of wide-area subject divisional plan is practiced as offering reference and general education centered data for undergraduate students 'study. And each subject libraries is furnished with research papers, recent journals, and various major-related data. 3) The human resource model of wide-area subject divisional plan is applicated by arranging appropriate librarians at the right place. In the case of central library, the reference librarians and librarians who educate the users and take charge of function are set in to help undergraduate students with their study. Subject library needs to secure subject librarians, librarians who take charge of function, and graduate students who are related to the subject as student assistant. Then it is possible to discriminate reference service by subjects and users.

This study is to investigate the development process and the structure of the machine and material industrial clusters in Yeongnam region, Korea. In theoretical analysis, it is proposed that the wide area industrial cluster has three type of development process and a duplicate (or multi-level) spatial structure. We can ascertain from the case study of industrial clusters in Yeongnam region that An wide machine and material industrial cluster has been formed in Yeongnam region and the cluster has the duplicate structure or multi-level structure.

정보통신시스템의 하부구조인 LAN은 분산화, 광역화 추세로 발전되고 있으며, 주컴퓨터의 다운사이징화, 멀티미디어화에 따라 정보통신시스템의 구성은 호스트컴퓨터를 중심으로 하는 중앙집중형에서 분산처리를 중심으로 하는 클라이언트/서버형으로 방식이 전환되고 있다. 분산처리환경에 있어서 LAN은 필요불가결한 도구가 되고 있고, 그 역할도 단순히 호스트와 단말간을 접속하는 전송로로서의 기능에서 탈피하여 클라이언트/서버간의 정보를 자유자재로 교환하는 전송로로서 성능, 신뢰성, 확장성 등의 면에서 점점 중요도가 높아지고 있고, 멀티미디어를 위한 고속/광대역 ATM-LAN, 무선 LAN도 개발되고 있다. 본 고에서는 LAN기술 및 제품동향, LAN시장 동향, LAN구성 요소기술 등 정보통신시스템으로서 LAN기술의 발전 및 제반 동향에 대하여 개관하고자 한다.

(사)한국물류협회(회장 서병륜)와 인천광역시, 인천광역시 물류연구회, 한국로지스틱스학회, 매일경제신문사가 공동으로 주최하고 로지스올 그룹, 물류신문사가 후원한 제15차 물류정책토론회가 지난 3월 23일 인천종합 문화예술회관 대회의실에서 200여명이 참여한 가운데 개최됐다. 서병륜(사)한국물류협회 회장은 개회사를 통해 "최근에들어 물류강국화 정책의 수립과 입안시 특히 중시되어야 할 것은 비약적 성장세를 보이고 있는 중국의 경제환경 변화로 오늘 토론회를 통하여 정책적 합리화를 모색할 수 있는 좋은 계기가 되기를 바란다"고 말했다. 이번 토론회에서는 전만술 한국물류연구원 원장, 전일수 인천물류연구회 회장의 사회로 '중국의 경제환경 변화와 우리나라 물류정책의 효율화방향 모색'이라는 주제하에 제1테마'북중국권 경제환경 변화와 서해안 물류정책의 효율화방향 모색', 제2테마 '중국의 글로벌 물류거점화와 효율적 대응방안 모색'으로 나뉘어 재능대학교 박창호 교수와 중국 시노로그 컨설팅 박노언 대표가 각각 주제 발표했다. 오늘 토론회의 지정토론자로는 김학소 박사(한국해양수산개발원 항만연구본부장), 허문구 박사(한국무역협회 국제물류지원단 컨설팅팀장), 이호영 대표(함부르그항만청 주한대표부), 예충열 박사(한국교통연구원 동북아 물류경제연구실장)등이 참석했다.

변전소 자동화 시스템은 광역화$\cdot$복잡화하는 전력계통(전력유통망)에 대하여 원격운용의 고도화와 용이화를 목적으로 한 것이다. 이 시스템은 제어소 등 상위 시스템이 변전소를 ''인텔리전트한 현지처리기능을 갖는 소형변전소 자동화서버''로 다룰 수 있는 것이 특징으로, 각종의 고도화$\cdot$자동화 기능에 관하여 상위계$\~$변전소의 토털 코디네이션을 도모하고자 하는 국제수준의 사양에 따른 것이다. 이 특징을 실현하기 위하여 변전소 자동화시스템은 멀티포인트, 멀티프로토콜 통신기능과 소형변전소 자동화서버기능을 구비하고 나아가 변전소 구내에서의 디지털 정보화에 대응하여 필드 솔루션(Field Solution)기술을 적용하고 있다. 필드 솔루션에 있어서는 초소형 인텔리전트 RIO(리모트 입출력모듈)와 고속필드 네트워크를 적용함으로써 즉각적인 정보수집은 물론 변전소 구내에서의 스페이스의 효율적인 활용과 종래의 메탈케이블의 대폭적인 삭감을 기할 수 있도록 하고 있다. 변전소 자동화시스템은 상기한 특징이 있기 때문에 원격운용에서의 감시제어뿐만 아니라 다양한 변전소 정보를 활용한 각종 자동화$\cdot$지원 시스템에의 응용이 가능하다.

가상현실이나 인터넷 웹지도 서비스와 같이 3차원의 실세계를 시스템 상에 그대로 재현(reconstruction)하기 위해서는 정교하고 세밀한 3차원 도시모델이 필수적이다. 이러한 3차원 도시모델의 자동생성은 원격탐사 및 사진측량 분야에서 많은 연구가 수행되고 있다. 이러한 연구들은 다양한 센서 데이터와 기 구축되어 있는 GIS자료를 이용하여 건물, 도로, 지형 등의 도시모델을 자동으로 생성하고자 한다. 그러나 대부분의 연구에서 추출한 각 기본요소(primitives)-평면패치(planar patches), 에지(edges), 모서리(corners)에 대한 국부적인 정제(refinement)는 수행하였으나, 생성한 건물 모델에 대한 광역적인 조정을 통한 정규화에 대한 연구는 미비한 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 데이터로부터 생성된 B-rep (boundary representation) 형태의 건물 모델에 대하여 기하학적인 제약요소(constraints)를 이용한 정규화(regularization) 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 제안하는 방법은 건물의 Domain Knowledge에 기반하여 도출한 건물을 구성하는 기본요소(primitives)간의 인접성, 직교성, 평행성, 교차성 등의 다양한 제약조건을 이용하여 광역적으로 조정한다. 시뮬레이션 데이터에 적용한 결과의 분석을 통해 제안된 정규화 방법을 통해 오차가 포함된 건물모델이 보다 정형화된 형태로 조정되었음을 확인하였다.

Photographic records are very useful and meaningful in the point of view that users can understand those things easily. However, there are few case of digitalizing photographic records, compared to printed records because of high cost and management limitation. The purpose of this study is to provide improvement plan and consideration for digitalizing analog photographic records. To achieve the goals, this study analyzes management status of photographic records in 16 provincial offices. Also, this study performs a case study on digitalization of analog photographic records and implementation of DB relating digitalized photographic records in J provincial office. Based on the results, this study proposes how to digitalize analog photographic records, and manage of digitalized photographic records.

This study aims to conduct a big data analysis of public library operations and uses of 16 metropolitan local government of Korea by using the Chernoff face method. This study is the first to use the Chernoff face method for big data analysis of library services in library and information research. The association of variables and human facial features was decided by survey. The study reveals that in general the provincial governments in Korea operate more libraries, invest more budgets, allocate more staff and hold more collections than metropolitan cities. This administration resulted in more use of libraries in provincial governments than metropolitan cities.
