Study of Disaster Safety Information Protection using Digital Signage (디지털 사이니지를 활용한 재난안전 정보 보호에 대한 연구)

  • Recently, each country should operates a integrated disaster safety management system in order to reduce the damage, such as the world-natural disasters. In particular, research on digital signage use has been mad e by a method for transmitting a disaster warning message. In this paper, we tried to examine the security requirements that are required by the disaster safety netwo rk by looking at the digital signage concept and disaster safety management system. Also, in order to be tra nsmitted to the safe digital signage terminal a common alarm message in the disaster safety services using d igital signage, we propose a protocol that uses a public key authentication mechanism. The proposed protocol is to be safely displayed a common alarm message to the appropriate area.

  • I must receive node discernment address for communication between node that participate to network in MANETs(Mobile Ad-hoc Networks). Address is created by node confidence or different node. I achieve address redundancy check (Duplicate Address Detection) to examine whether this address is available unique address. However, this method happens problem that MANETs' extensity drops. This paper can manage by group unit binding transfer nodes to group in MANETs. I suggest method that apply special quality of cluster that exchange subordinate decrease and mobility government official of control message are easy in address assignment protocol minimize time required in redundancy check and solves extensity problem. Method that propose in this paper shows excellent performance according to node number increase than wave and MANETConf [2] through simulation.

  • As the importance of information security gets recognized seriously, ciphers technology gets used more. Particularly, since public key ciphers are easier to control the key than symmetric key ciphers and also digital signature is easily implemented, public key ciphers are increased used. Nowadays, public key infrastructure is established and operated to use efficiently and securely the public key ciphers. In the public key infrastructure, the user registers at the certificate authority to generate the private key and public key pair and the certificate authority issues the certificate on the public key generated. Through this certificate, key establishment between users is implemented and encryption communication becomes possible. But, control function of session key established in the public key infrastructure is not provided. In this thesis, the certificate issuing protocol to support the key recovery of the session key established during the wireless authentication and key establishment is proposed.

Exploring the Contextual Elements of Book Use to Improve Book Recommender Systems (도서추천 시스템 개선을 위한 도서이용 맥락 요소 탐색)

  • In this study, in order to explore the contextual elements of book use that were overlooked in the existing book recommender system research, for 15 avid readers with various book search backgrounds, the contents generated in 6 book search situations were collected through the think-aloud protocol. By using content analysis from the collected book use contents, not only the internal and external appeal factors affecting book use, based on the 'appeal factor', the theoretical concept of the readers' advisory service, but also information sources and search methods regarding book use were identified and categorized. The results of this study can be used to extract and reflect meaningful attribute data in the future book recommender system design process.

  • 재난문자 전송은 기지국에서 다수의 단말기로 재난문자를 전달하는 단방향 프로토콜인 CBS 긴급 재난문자 서비스를 이용한다. 이 CBS 전송 기법은 일대다(One-to-Many) 방식을 이용한다. 현 CBS 프로토콜은 일종의 방송 방식으로 기지국은 긴급재난문자를 수신한 단말기로부터 어떠한 확인 메시지도 전달받지 못한다. 그러나 재난관리기관은 효율적인 재난 대응을 위하여 재난지역의 재난문자 수신자로부터 유용한 정보를 전달받을 필요가 있다. 즉 CBS 재난문자를 수신한 단말기들로부터 재난관리기관 서버로 CBS 메시지에 대한 응답 메시지를 전달받는 방식으로 유용한 정보를 취합할 수 있다. 이러한 전달방식을 위해 다대일(many-to-one) 통신 기법이 고려된다.

  • 무선 센서 네트워크(WSN)를 구성하는 각 센서 노드들의 에너지 관리는 네트워크 전체의 생명주기에 영향을 미치는 요소 중 가장 중요한 요소이다. 센서 노드들은 한번 설치된 이후 짧게는 수개월에서 길게는 몇 년에 걸쳐 동작해야 하기 때문에 배터리에 의존하고 있는 센서 노드들의 에너지를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 기술들이 필요하다. Directed Diffusion은 센서 노드에서 수집한 데이터를 네트워크 전체에 브로드캐스팅 하지 않고, 소스(Source)노드로부터 싱크(Sink)노드까지 강화(Reinforce)된 경로를 통해서만 데이터를 전송하여 경로 이외의 노드들의 불필요한 에너지 소모를 줄일 수 있는 라우팅 프로토콜이다. 그러나 기존의 Directed Diffusion에서는 전송 경로 상에 장애가 발생했을 경우 싱크에서 전송한 익스플로러터리 패킷을 기다려야 하며, 장애가 발견되고 재전송되기 전까지 전송된 데이터는 무의미한 데이터가 된다. 본 논문에서는 앞서 언급된 Directed Diffusion의 장애 경로 복구의 문제점을 보완하기 위해 Fast Repair(FR)를 제안한다. FR은 데이터 전송 경로 상에 장애 발생 시 데이터를 재전송 하고 경로를 재설정하는데 효율적이며, 성능평가 결과에서도 기존의 Directed Diffusion에 비하여 향상된 성능을 나타내고 있다.

  • 최근 국제물류에서 화물 컨테이너의 운송을 보다 안전하고 효율적으로 관리하기 위하여 수출입절차 규제가 강화되고, 도난, 밀매, 테러 등의 범죄를 예방하기 위한 새로운 정책과 기술이 도입되고 있다. 특히, 빠르게 실용화가 진행되고 있는, RFID 기술을 사용한 무선인식 전자봉인(e-seal)은 기존의 기계적 봉인장치를 대체함으로써 컨테이너 운송의 안전성을 보장하고, 선적 및 하선 절차의 효율을 높인다. 수년간 e-seal의 ISO 국제표준화가 진행되어 왔으며. 최근 e-seal의 데이터 보호에 대한 표준화가 진행 중이다. 본 논문에서는 e-seal의 실질적인 사용 환경과 기존의 명령어 표준규격을 고려하여 안전한 e-seal을 위한 새로운 명령어들을 설계하고 EAP를 응용하여 e-seal과 리더기간의 상호 인증 프로토콜을 제시한다. 그리고 이를 다시 효율적으로 개선하여 e-seal에 적합한 상호 인증 프로토콜을 제시한다.

With proposed architect, subgroups for multicast secure group mana will be divided by RP (Rendezvous-Point) unit and each RP has a subgroup manager. As a result, the transmitting time is shortened because there is no need to data translation by group key on data sending and the whole architecture size is samller than the other multicast secure architecture.

  • To detect and recover packet losses over wireless links is very important in terms of reliability in packet transmission. Most wireless communication systems adopt an automatic repeat request (ARQ) protocol operating at link layer. However, it has been constantly addressed that the interaction not harmonized sufficiently between ARQ and TCP rather degrades TCP performance. In this paper, therefore, we propose an improved scheme from the aspect of the interaction with TCP loss recovery mechanism that can be applied to selective repeat ARQ (SR-ARQ) protocol and prove that the proposed scheme improves TCP performance significantly by OPNET simulations.

  • The Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Fisheries have plaining the advancing fishery information integrated system for the fishing present condition, marine resource administration and applicability considering. The fishery information communication system is build up to the raw data & process-network-content. The communication system must be small size, low cost and adapted SSB transceiver, that is using fishery shipping. In this paper We present digital data communication network to exchange information for fishery and safety between fishing ship and coast station in cheeper communication fee using SSB in HF band.
