A hybrid prioritized worker model for efficiency of shared resources in the real-time system (실시간 시스템에서 공유자원의 효율적 사용을 위한 혼합형 우선순위 작업자 모델)

  • To support multimedia applications such as a multimedia communication systems and multimedia broadcasting, an operating system need to predict their timing-constraints. So, In this real-time systems, we must solve the priority inversion problem that may make the behavior of unpredictable systems and need a real-time server model that provides a better preemptability and minimizes a system overhead. In current real-time systems, the single thread server model, the worker model and the dynamic server model are being used for synchronization but they cannot propose an effective structure for managing shared resources. In this paper, the priority inheritance protocol is used to solve the priority inversion problem and the hybrid prioritized worker model is proposed, which can provide a more effective structure and a faster response time minimizing a system overhead. The hybrid prioritized worker model is to combine the static and the dynamic prioritized worker model, and have a better performance than other models in response time which is an important factor in a real-time system.

  • Recently, according to the development of the smart home field, it provides a service to install and keep the smart home appliance in a user's residential environment pleasantly. However, the conventional system method has a problem in that it is not convenient because the user selects a device or manually operates the device. In this paper, we propose a system to set the priority of the devices selected by the user and proceed with the work. When a user selects a device, it recommends a device associated with the device. Compare and set the priority of each device. And it is a system that carries out work according to the set priority. Therefore the proposed system is expected to provide users with increased convenience and efficiency of work management.

  • 최근 센서 네트워크의 제약적 전력 공급 문제를 해결하기 위한 하나의 방법으로 에너지 수급 센서 기술이 연구되고 있다. 에너지 수급 센서의 수급 효율은 가변적인 환경에 의존하기 때문에 수급률을 고려한 저전력 통신 기법이 요구된다. 또한 다중 우선순위 데이터가 존재하는 네트워크에선 에너지 수급률과 배터리 잔량을 고려한 차별적인 데이터 처리가 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 각 계층들이 에너지 소모에 미치는 영향을 고려하며 동시에 높은 우선순위 데이터의 빠른 처리를 가능하게 하는 패킷 스케쥴링 기법 및 에너지 관리 방법을 제안하고 이를 수학적 모델링을 통해 분석할 것이다.

  • 본 논문은 실시간 운영체제에서 프로세스의 효율적인 관리를 위한 스케줄링 알고리즘을 제안한다. 따라서 CPU의 활용도를 높이고 스케줄링 시간과 인터럽트 시간을 줄임으로서 자원을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법으로는 다중 큐에 PIT(Process Information Table)를 두어 각각의 큐에 프로세스가 들어오면 우선순위에 따라 CPU를 할당하는 방법이다. 기존의 다중 큐와는 달리 우선순위 프로세스를 보다 정확하고 빨리 찾아내어 외부 또는 내부의 인터럽트에 응답 할 수 있게 하였다. 또한 우선순위에 밀려 실행하지 못하는 프로세스는 일정 시간이 경과하면 CPU를 선점할 수 있다. 그러므로 CPU는 활용도가 높아지고 유휴 시간은 짧아지게 된다. 본 논문은 일반 펜티엄 PC에서 실험하였으며 현재 사용되는 RTOS(VxWorks, QNX)와 비교하여 다소 우수함을 보였다.

A Study on Prioritization of HNS Management in Korean Waters (해상 위험·유해물질(HNS) 관리 우선순위 선정에 관한 연구)

  • The types of hazardous and noxious substances (HNS) being transported by sea in Korea are at about 6,000, HNS transport volume accounts for 19% of total tonnage shipped in Korea, and the increase rate of seaborne HNS trade in Korea is 2.5 times higher than the average increase rate of the world seaborne HNS trade. Reflecting this trend, HNS spill incidents have been frequently reported in Korean waters, and there are increasing social demands to develop HNS management technology for the preparedness, response, post-treatment and restoration in relation to HNS spill incidents at sea. In this study, a risk-based HNS prioritization system was developed and an HNS risk database was built with evaluation indices such as sea transport volume, physicochemical properties, toxicities, persistency, and bioaccumulation. Risk scores for human health and marine environments were calculated by multiplying scores for toxicity and exposure. The top-20 substances in the list of HNS were tabulated, and Aniline was ranked first place, but it needs to be managed not by individuals but by HNS groups with similar score levels. Limitations were identified in obtaining data of chronic toxicity and marine ecotoxicity due to lack of testing data. It is necessary to study on marine ecotoxicological test in the near future. Moreover, the priority list of HNS is expected to be utilized in the development of HNS management technology and the relevant technologies, after the expert's review process and making up for the lack of test data in the current research results.

  • 최근 중대재해처벌법 등 근로자의 안전 및 건강관리를 위한 인식이 확산되며, 기업들의 근로자 건강관리 솔루션으로 디지털헬스케어의 건강관리서비스 플랫폼이 주목받고 있다. 그러나 국내 디지털헬스케어 시장에서 건강관리서비스 플랫폼은 사업화 단계에서 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문에서는 개인건강기록에 기반한 맞춤형 건강관리서비스 플랫폼의 성공요인의 우선순위를 도출하여 효과적인 운영을 위한 실질적 전략의 시사점을 제시하였다. AHP 방법론을 통한 플랫폼 공급자와 수요자 측면 전문가 집단 연구 결과 법/제도, 데이터 분석 및 플랫폼 설계, 시스템 보안성, 시스템 안정성순으로 나타났다, 본 연구의 우선순위 결과를 통해 건강관리서비스 플랫폼, 나아가 국내 디지털헬스케어의 활성화 및 경쟁력 제고에 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.

  • In ATM and W networks, high Priority Packets should be selectively favored over low Priority Packets in case of congestion. For this purpose, we introduce a space priority policy for ATM nodes in this paper which is very similar to the weighted core-stateless fair queueing(WCSFQ) in IP nodes. We also analyze the loss probabilities for different classes of cells for MMPP/D/1/K with a threshold level, and discuss the numerical results. The numerical results illustrate that the WCSFQ scheme can be used to support the differentiated services in ATM or IP nodes.

  • Nowaday, local governments have planned to manage intelligent underground facilities through the u-City project. But, the intelligent underground facilities are in need of the progressive approach because of the required huge financial resources. Therefore, the objectives of this research are (1) to prioritize the monitoring items of sensing technology developments, (2) to study technological feasibilities, and (3) to discover the killer application which expands ripple effects on economy. To achieve these objectives, final monitoring items were derived from the business analysis of the water supply, the local government survey, the hearing expert opinions and so on. The priority order of final monitoring items were technology developments of (1) the flowmeter flux, (2) the water leakage/crack, (3) the pressure of water supply pipes, and (4) the flux of filtration plants. The research significance is obtained from the derivation and the evaluation of the priority order and the actual demand for the water supply facility management. And, the research results will contribute to the strategic planning for the underground facility intelligence.

  • Bicycle is one of the most important eco-friendly transport mode which can cope with global warming. ICTs(information and communication technologies) on bicycles became a dominant factor for success to the spread of bicycles to public as we experienced Public Bike System. In this paper, conceptualization and classification of u-Bike services are fulfilled and its priority was examined using AHP method. Group capabilities technique of ECII, a computer fool of AHP was invited to minimize bias on appraisal. 12 u-Bike services were conceptualized. U-service with highest adoptability was 'bike and ride' service which can link bicycle to public transportation. 'Prevention system from abandonment and theft' and 'public bike system' similar to Velib system in Paris are also considered to be very important services in u-City.

The Time Management Behavior Under the Time Inclination of Housewives (주부의 시간성향에 따른 시간관리행동)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 주부의 시간성향에 따라 시간관리행동에 차이가 있는지를 파악함으로써 시간성향의 중요성을 밝히고, 주부의 생활경영과정에서 시간사요의 효율성을 창조하는 능력으로서의 인적자원계발을 위한 하나의 자료가 되고자 하는데 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주부의 시간성향은 단선적 시간성향이기보다는 복합적 시간성향인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 주부의 사회인구학적 특성에 따라 시간성향의 차이를 보면 변인은 거주지와 취업여부였다. 세째, 주부의 시간성향에 따른 시간관리행동은 사회하를 제외한 모든관리행동 즉 계획/우선순위(p<.001), 표준설정/단순화(p<.05), 목표설정(p<.001), 심리적 긴장감해소(p<.001), 분담화(p<.05), 기계화(p<.05)에서 차이를 보이고 있다. 유의미한 차이를 보인 모든 관리행동에서 복합적 시간성향의 주부가 관리행동을 더 잘하였고 특히 계획/우선순위와 목 표설정 관리행동에서 월등히 잘하는 것으로 나타났다.
