A Study on Use Motivation of SNS and Communication Behavior (SNS의 이용동기와 커뮤니케이션 행동에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore how use motivation of SNS influences communication activity and SNS media engagement. The major findings are as follows. First, three Factors are identified from the result of scale purification through exploratory factor analysis(EFA) on use motivation of SNS. Three factors of SNS use motivation are information/knowledge acquisition motivation (IKAM), communication/relationship maintaining motivation(CRMM), opinion/information presenting motivation(OIPM). It is found that a significant difference on CRMM between sex. Second, CRMM and OIPM are statistically significant to communication activity. Third, IKAM and CRMM are statistically significant to SNS media engagement.

A Study on Math Motivation, Mathematically Affective Characteristics and Mathematical Achievements between Gifted and Non-gifted Students Based on Keller's ARCS Theory (영재학생과 일반학생의 ARCS 이론에 근거한 수학학습동기 비교와 수학 정의적 특성 및 학업성취도 간의 관계)

  • The purposes of the study are to recognize importance of motivation in math education and to increase interest in students' motivation problem by comparing math motivation between mathematically gifted and non-gifted 5th graders based on Keller's ARCS theory and analyzing correlations between math motivation, mathematically affective characteristics and mathematical achievements. For this purpose, 436 students who were mathematically gifted and non-gifted 5th grade students were asked to take questionnaires and test to measure math motivation, mathematically affective characteristics and mathematical achievements. After analyzing the data, there are statistically differences in three educational factors between two groups. In addition, there are correlations between three educational factors. This study revealed that highly motivated students showed positive mathematically affective characteristics and high mathematical achievements. As results indicate that motivation could be a crucial factor in learning, teachers should consider motivation strategy to plan students' lessons regarding to learners' giftedness.

청년예비창업가의 창업가정신과 창업동기가 창업의지에 미치는 영향 : 사회적 자본의 조절효과로

  • 본 연구에서는 청년예비창업가의 창업가정신과 창업동기가 사회적 자본을 조절효과로 창업의지에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구이다. 최근 앞으로의 국가경제를 이끌어갈 청년들의 일자리 부족문제와 청년실업률(15세에서 29세의 경제활동인구 중 실업자의 비율)의 증가에 따른 문제가 대두되고 있다. 이를 극복하기 하고 국가경제발전을 위해선 창업은 매우 중요한 전략 중 하나이며 이를 위해 정부에서는 (청년)예비창업가들의 창업의지를 높이기 위해 다양한 노력하고 있다. 창업의지에 있어 창업가정신과 창업동기가 필수적으로 필요하며 이러한 창업가정신과 창업동기를 가지게 되면 (청년)예비창업가들은 자신들이 부족한 사회적 자본을 확보하기 위해 노력하게 되고 이러한 과정 속에서 사회적 자본을 가지고 있고 없고의 차이로 인한 (청년)예비창업자들의 창업의지에 대해 연구하고자 한다. 그렇기에 창업의지에 있어 창업가정신과 창업동기 그리고 사회적 자본의 중요성을 강조하고자 한다. 본 연구는 첫째, 창업가정신이 창업의지에 영향을 미치는지 여부 분석, 둘째, 창업동기가 창업의지에 영향을 미치는지 여부 분석, 셋째, 사회적 자본이 창업가정신과 창업의지에 관계에서 조절효과를 가지는지 여부 분석, 넷째, 사회적 자본이 창업동기와 창업의지에 관계에서 조절효과를 가지는지 여부 분석 등이다. 현재까지 받은 140개의 설문을 받았으며, 본 연구는 창업가정신과 창업동기가 창업의지에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는지, 사회적 자본은 창업가정신과 창업의지의 관계에서 정(+)의 조절효과를 가질 것인지, 사회적 자본은 창업동기와 창업의지의 관계에서 정(+)의 조절효과를 가질 것인지 등을 분석할 것이다 앞으로 더 많은 설문지를 통해 가설에 대한 검증을 할 것이며 이에 본 연구결과를 통해 (청년)예비창업가에 창업의지에 있어 창업가정신, 창업동기, 사회적 자본의 필요성을 시사점으로 제시하려 한다.

SMIL Structure Information Generation Algorithm based on Timeline Information (타임라인 정보로부터 SMIL 구조 정보를 생성하는 알고리즘의 개발)

  • 인터넷 미디어의 멀티미디어화 추세에 따라 W3C의 동기화 멀티미디어 워킹그룹(SYMM) [1]에서는 1998년 웹상에서의 멀티미디어 표현을 위한 XML 기반의 동기화 언어인 SMIL을 발표하였다. SMIL [2]은 순차관계()와 병렬관계() 및 이들의 중첩관계를 사용하여 미디어간의 시간적 동기화를 설정한다. 이에 따라 기존의 SMIL 저작 도구들은 구조 편집기를 통하여 엘리먼트간의 중첩관계를 직접 편집함으로써 멀티미디어 시나리오의 시간적 동기화 정보를 기술하도록 하고 있다. 하지만 구조 편집기는 SMIL에 중심적인 편집 방법으로써 엘리먼트간의 중첩이 심화될수록 사용자에게 혼돈을 가져온다. 본 논문은 사용자 중심적인 시간적 동기화 정보 기술방법을 제공하기 위한 연구에서 출발하였다. 즉, 시간 축을 기준으로 미디어간의 시간정보를 기술하는 타임라인 편집기를 제공함으로써 사용자는 보다 직관적으로 프리젠테이션 시나리오를 작성할 수 있다. 이때, 타임라인 정보는 SMIL 문서의 구조 정보와는 상이한 데이터모델을 사용하므로 이를 SMIL 구조 정보로 자동 변환하기 위한 변환과정이 필요하게 된다.

The Impact of Prosocial Motivation on Silent Behavior: Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Job Burnout and Differences in Virtual Work Environments (친사회적 동기가 침묵행동에 미치는 영향: 직무소진의 매개효과와 비대면 근무환경의 차이를 중심으로)

  • This study examined the relationship between prosocial motivation and acquiescent, defensive, and relational silence behaviors, and identified the mediating effect of emotional job burnout. We also examined whether these relationships differed depending on whether the organization is currently working virtually or not. To this end, we collected 359 samples from Korean employees working in general office jobs below managerial positions using online survey methods. The data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and PROCESS Macro, and the results showed that the relationship between prosocial motivation and acquiescent, defensive, and relational silence behaviors was mediated by emotional job burnout, with a partial mediation effect for acquiescent silence and a full mediation effect for defensive and relational silence behaviors. Furthermore, these relationships were found to be the same regardless of whether employees worked virtually or not. Finally, we discuss the implications of our findings, limitations of this study, and suggestions for future research.

Effect of Passion to Motivation on Major Students for Security Martial Arts (경호무도 전공생의 동기가 열정에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of passion on major students for security martial arts. Participants were selected 393 undergraduate students who study security martial arts. Sampling was used by purposive sample method. Measurements were used with multi-dimensional passion and motivation scales. Statistic was executed descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, Pearson's correlation and multiple linear regression. The results of this study were as follows: First, motivation of student for security martial arts has influencing relationship with harmonious passion. Second, motivation has influencing relationship with obsessive passion. Third, motivation has influencing relationship with sense of unity. Forth, motivation has influencing relationship with preference of passion. Fifth, motivation has influencing relationship with value of passion. Sixth, motivation has influencing relationship with investment of passion. That is, internal motivation such as giving value and inner satisfaction gives positive effect to passion above mentioned factors but a motivation gives negative effect to passion.

Relations Among Motivation to Lead, Leadership Behavior, and Performance (리더십 발휘동기, 리더십 행위 그리고 성과간의 관계에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • The current study is an attempt, in two separate surveys, to explore the role of motivation to lead, which has rarely been introduced into academic leadership research in Korea. For the survey and statistical analysis, the population is defined as the employees working in Korea. The motivation to lead is considered important in practices since without it any leadership development interventions show less possibility to succeed. The motivation to lead was defined in terms of three dimensions as in affective motivation, socio-normative motivation, and non-calculative motivation(Chen & Drasgow, 2001). The study then empirically explored the potential relationships between the three dimensions and leadership styles. Specifically, such leadership styles as transformational leadership, transactional leadership, and self-sacrificial leadership behavior have been correlated to motivation to lead. In addition, using regression analysis, the explanatory power of the motivation to lead on various dependent variables were investigated. As a result, the three dimensions of motivation to lead, that is, affective, socio-normative, and non-calculative motivations each were found to have strong correlations with transformational, transactional, and self-sacrificial leadership, as well as with other criterion-related variables such as organizational commitment and trust. Limitations of the current study, along with future research directions were also discussed.

The Moderating Role of Organizational Feedback in The Relationship Between Employee's Intrinsic Motivation and Organizational Commitment (종업원의 내재적 동기부여와 조직몰입 간의 관계에 있어서 조직피드백의 조절역할)

  • This study investigated the effects employee's intrinsic motivation and organizational feedback on organizational commitment and the moderating role organizational feedback on the relationship between employee's intrinsic motivation and organizational commitment in the workplace. Data were collected from 287 employees in the manufacturing firms. Results indicated that employee's intrinsic motivation had a positive effect on organizational commitment. Results also indicated that organizational feedback moderated the relationship between employee's intrinsic motivation and organizational commitment. Especially, The positive (+) relationship between employee's intrinsic motivation and organizational commitment was strengthened when organizational feedback was high than it was low. Implications for practice and directions for future research are discussed.

The Influence of Autonomy Support and Self-Determined Motivation on Learning Outcomes among College Students (대학생의 자율성지지와 자기조절 동기가 학습성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine relations in autonomy support, self-determined motivation, and learning outcomes among college students. The subjects of this study were 231 college students in Jeonnam Province and Daejeon city, sampled by convenience sampling. The result of this study is as follows: First, perceived autonomy support had a significant direct positive effect on identified and intrinsic motivation. Also perceived autonomy support had a significant direct positive effect on learning outcomes and processes. Second, external had a significant positive effect on duty motivation and duty motivation had a direct positive effect on identified duty. In addition to identified motivation had a significant positive effect on intrinsic motivation, learning outcomes and processes. Third, intrinsic motivation had positively influenced on learning outcomes and processes. As the last of the findings, perceived autonomy support, duty motivation and identified motivation had significant effects on learning outcomes and processes. These results imply that perceived autonomy and self-determination motivation is important to enhance academic performance.

The relation of Leisure participation motivation, Activity, Self efficacy and Subjective well-being (여가활동, 여가동기, 자기효능감 및 주관적 안녕감간의 관계)

  • This study was attempted in order to understand leisure phenomenon in Korea cultural area through relation of Leisure Activity, Leisure participation motivation, self -efficacy and Subjective well-being. The purpose of this study was to investigate the question that Leisure Phenomenon was studied focus on specific Leisure activity contents such as physical, tour science, though it is an important subject to explore as psychological and cultural. Also it suggested that what was the problem of established studies and what was the directions for future study. Concrete study problem was assumed three issues. (1)General state of leisure activity and leisure motivation in Korea, (2)The correlated relation between each motivation and self-efficacy and (3)The correlated relation between each motivation and Subjective well-being?. Through this, we conducted three results. Frist, the leisure motivation scale was factor analyzed and consequently 2 factors which can be considered as leisure motivation were prescribed. Also through the responded data, leisure activity of university students showed much more passive activity(e.g.,reading, listening music, movie, watching TV, Internet surfing etc.) than positive and physically activity. Second, each motivation was not significant in self-efficacy. Finally, among the motivation, especially emotion and psychological rest motivation was significant in the subjective wellbeing. These findings imply that general understanding about leisure phenomenon can different as the cultural thinking of leisure activity and leisure motivation.
