Job Titles of Medical Technologist Managers in a Hierarchical System and Team System (계층제와 팀제에서 임상병리사 관리자 명칭)

  • In the 2000's, due to a change in hospital management strategy, the organizational structure shifted from a hierarchical system to a team system. While the hierarchical system is characterized by being activity centered, job title linked, and vertically managed, the team system is characterized by being competency centered, job title segregated, and horizontally managed. The job titles of medical technologist manager was surveyed three times in 1997, 2007, and 2017. It has been confirmed through staff members working at 24 hospitals in more than 500 beds in the metropolitan area. The results of job titles follow are as follow: "Team Leader; Part Leader" 14/24 (59%), "Chief Technologist; Area Head Technologist" 7/24 (29%), and "Chief" 3/24 (12%). The present authors propose an alternative name based on the team system to refine the three job titles currently used by medical technologists. First, the Chief Technologist is unclear if it refers to the Technologist General Manager or Technologist Manager. The Chief Technologist should be changed to "Team Leader". Second, given that Area Head Technologist or Section Chief are on the same position as Head Nurse, we suggest that Area Head Technologist or Section Chief should be changed to "Part Leader". Third, while the organization regulation is marked merely as Department of Laboratory Medicine according to the hierarchical system, it is marked as Laboratory Medicine Team according to the team system. Medical technologists come to have more belongingness, feeling of solidarity, and intimacy under the team system.

A Characteristics Classification by Beads Analysis of the Tombs of Deokcheon-ri in Uljin, Korea. (울진 덕천리 신라묘군 출토 구슬류의 특성 고찰)

  • This study investigated the formal characteristics and chemical compositions of eighty beads excavated from a Silla tomb complex at Deokcheon-ri, Uljin in order to reveal the methods of production and the characteristics of the raw materials involved, thereby illuminating characteristics of the relics from each tomb. The beads excavated from these Silla tombs include one curved bead, one tubular bead, and 78 globular beads. Among them, the curved and tubular beads and three globular beads were identified to be made of minerals, and the remaining 75 beads are made of glass. Most of the glass beads are thought to have been produced using the drawing technique. The characteristics of the beads were classified according to their site of excavation. The globular beads from Tomb No. 34 belong to the lead-barium glass and potash glass groups, indicating that these beads were produced at a relatively earlier period in time. The glass beads excavated from the tombs in the northern portion of the complex differ in color and chemical composition from those in the southern portion, which indicates the character that each group of beads had different aspect according to site location. Considering that the excavated beads were mainly from fifth- and sixth-century tombs, it is likely that certain groups of people living around Uljin used and buried beads in their tombs. As the governance of Silla became more centralized in the sixth century, the use of beads for burial purpose appears to have come to an end in this region.

Changing Process of the Glass Beads from Osan Sucheong Site in Gyeonggi-do, Korea (오산 수청동 유적 부장 유리구슬의 전개양상)

  • In this study, glass beads from Osan Sucheong were classified according to color into 10 groups. Among these groups, reddish brown, bluish green, and purplish blue were identified as the main colors of glass beads based on their large quantities in Osan Sucheong. The glass beads of these main colors were then classified according to their chemical compositions and and looked at the changing process. Based on the results, reddish brown and bluish green glass beads can both be divided into five types, and purplish blue glass beads can be divided into four types. Furthermore, according to continuity of type, it was identified as the main attributes that the reddish brown beads belong to two types, whereas the bluish green and purplish blue each belong to one type. Based on a review of primary attributes, beads of these three colors were identified as soda glass and high-alumina glass. The results indicate that these beads came from a single, consistent route of origin into the region. However, it is possible that glass beads came through various routes into Osan Sucheong in the $4^{th}$ century, because many types of chemical compositions have been detected for beads from this time.

The Calculation Standards of a Unit Cost of Water in River Water (하천수 용수단가의 산정기준)

  • "하천법" 제50조는 하천수의 사용용도를 생활 공업 농업 환경개선 발전, 그리고 주운 등 하천수 사용용도를 다양화하고 있으나, 하천수 사용료의 징수대상은 발전용수, 농업용수, 생공용수, 그 밖의 용수 등 4개 용수를 대상으로 하고 있다. 발전용수는 $100m^3/d$ 에 대하여 연액 231원, 농업용수는 $1,000m^3/d$에 대하여 연액 231원(발전용수의 1/10), 생활 및 공업, 기타용수는 댐용수대를 적용(2018년 현재 52.7원/$m^3$)하고 있다. 댐용수 요금의 산정은 '댐용수를 공급하는데 소요되는 총괄 원가를 보상하는 수준'에서 결정되며, 총괄원가는 '댐용수를 공급하는데 소요되는 적정원가에 댐용수사업에 공여하고 있는 자산에 대한 적정투자보수를 가산한 금액'으로 한다. 우리나라의 생활용수 및 공업용수는 이처럼 "한국수자원공사법" 제16조제2항에 따라 국토부장관이 승인한 댐용수 단가를 적용한다. 댐용수의 산정기준은 댐용수를 공급하는데 소요되는 총괄원가이지만, 하천수로서의 생활용수 및 공업용수가 이러한 댐용수 단가를 적용하는 이유에 대해서는 이론의 여지가 있을 수 있다. 댐용수는 1987년 최초로 전국 동일요금이 적용되었고 그 이후로도 주기적으로 요금이 인상되었으며, 발전 및 농업용수는 2008년 "하천법 시행령" 개정에 의해 사용료가 결정되었다. 농업용수와 발전용수는 각 지자체의 조례에 의해 요금을 부과하였는데 최초의 단가는 농업용수가 톤당 0.00032원, 발전용수는 톤당 0.0032원, 그리고 공업용수는 톤당 0.0076원이 부과되었다. 이후 1981년 조례의 개정에 따라 공업용수는 관경에 따라 차등적인 요금체계가 확립되었는데 대략 톤당 0.01원으로 기존에 단가에 비해 비약적으로 증가하였다. 농업용수 및 발전용수의 단가가 1984년 대비 2배 상승한 것에 비해 공업용수단가는 약 7,000배가 상승하였다. 생활용수의 경우, 기존 조례에서 따로 정하지 않았고 2008년 하천법 개정과 더불어 각 조례에 규정되었다. 즉 2008년 이전까지는 생활용수에 대해 따로 요금기준이 없었던 것으로 파악된다. 이에 비하여 농업용수 및 발전용수는 1984년 2배로 상승한 뒤 현재까지 동일한 요금을 부과하고 있다. 2008년에 개정된 "하천법 시행령" 제57조(하천수 사용료의 징수)의 농업용수 및 발전용수의 단가는 기존 조례의 단가를 그대로 "하천법"이 계승한 것으로 해당 용수의 단가가 특정한 과학적 기준으로 정해진 것으로 보기는 어렵다. 따라서 현재와 같이 용수단가별로 나타나는 커다란 차이는 각 용수의 용도 및 성격, 사회적 영향 등 용수 속성에 관한 사항과 더불어 회귀율과 취배수거리 등 다양한 요인을 적용한 산정기준을 적용하는 것이 바람직할 것이다.

A Study on the Structural Relationship of Achievement Goal Propensity, Sports Confidence, and Perceived Performance Using the Mentoring System of High School Leaders (고등학교 지도자의 멘토링시스템을 활용한 성취목표성향, 스포츠 자신감 및 인지된 경기력의 구조적 관계 고찰)

  • This study has a main purpose that closely examines the structural relationship among A Study on the Structural Relationship of Achievement Goal Propensity, Sports Confidence, and Perceived Performance Using the Mentoring System of High School Leaders. In order to achieve it, the sample from high school student participants were accumulated by using convenience sampling that chose taekwondo championship in national. The samples were 500 people. and we excluded unsuitable sheet like that were decided as untruthful one and an omission and unclear. So the final samples were 465 people. On the basis of that, The statistical techniques, spss 24.0 and amos 24.0 program have been used for the analysis as per research purpose. The statistical analysis used in the research for a data analysis includes frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and structure equation model analysis. The research has drawn the following conclusions, based on the above mentioned research method and its procedures: First, The mentoring influences the achievement goal orientation. Second, The mentoring influences the sport confidence. Third, The achievement goal orientation influences the perceived performance. Fourth, The sport confidence influences the perceived performance.

Resarch on Manufacturing Technology of Red-Burnished Pottery Excavated from Samdeok-ri, Goseong, Korea (고성 삼덕리유적 출토 적색마연토기의 제작 특성 연구)

  • Dolmens bearing the burial layout and stone coffin tombs of the late Bronze Age were excavated from Samdeok-ri, Goseong, Gyeonsangnsamdo, and grave items such as red-burnished pottery, arrowheads, and stone swords were also discovered. In the case of the red-burnished pottery that was found, it retains a pigment layer with a thickness of about 50 to 160㎛, but with most of the other items, exfoliation and peeling-off of pigment layers can be observed on the surface. The raw materials of the red-burnished pottery contained moderately sorted minerals such as quartz, feldspar, and hornblende, and partly opaque iron oxide minerals were also identified. In particular, the raw materials of the red-burnished pottery from stone coffin tomb #6 were different from those of the other pottery, containing large amounts of hornblende and feldspar. The pottery's red pigment was identified as hematite and showed similar mineral content of raw materials such as fine grained quartz, feldspar, and hornblende. The firing temperature is estimated to have been approximately 900℃, based on their mineral phase. The possibility exists that the raw materials had been collected from the Samdeok-ri area, because diorite and granite diorite with dominant feldspar and hornblende have been identified within 3km of that area. During the pottery manufacturing process, it is estimated that the pigment was painted on the entire surface of the red-burnished pottery after it had been molded and then finished using the abrasion technique. In other words, the red-burnished pottery was made by the process of vessel forming - semi drying - coloring - polishing. The surface and cross-section of the pottery appears differently depending on the concentration of the pigment and the coloring method used after vessels were formed. Most of the excavated pottery features a distinct boundary between pigment and body fabric. However, in the case of pottery in which fine-grained pigments penetrate the body fabric so that layers cannot be distinguished, there is the possibility that the fine-grained pigment layer was applied at a low concentration or immediately after vessel forming. Many cracks can be seen on the surface pigments in thickly painted pottery items, and in many cases, only a small portion of the pigment layers remain due to surface exfoliation and abrasion in the burial environment. It is reported that pottery items may be more easily damaged by abrasion if coated with pigment and polished, so it is believed that the red-burnished pottery of the Samdeok-ri site suffered from weathering in the burial environment. This damage was more extensive in the potsherds that were scattered outside the tomb.

Job Satisfaction and Engagement of School Food Service Dietitians and Nutrition Teachers in Chungbuk (충북지역 학교급식 영양(교)사의 직무만족 및 몰입도)

  • The purpose of this study was to gather basic data and measure job satisfaction and job engagement of dietitians and nutrition teachers in Chungbuk area. This study was conducted on 20 August, 2010. Out of 336 questionnaires, 266 were completed and made available for the purpose of statistical evaluation. As the main results, job satisfaction was classified into eight categories: task, wage, policies related to tasks, professional growth, promotion, relationships with colleagues, working environment, and supervision. In the case of wage, promotion, and policies related to tasks, the average scores of job satisfaction were around 2 points out of 5. Dietitians' job satisfaction levels according to employment type and school type significantly differed. In terms of job involvement and organizational commitment, average scores were 3.53 points and 3.12 points respectively. The survey showed significantly different results for job involvement and organizational commitment, depending on employment type, school type, and status as chef in charge or trainee. Dietitians working in elementary schools, as chef in charge, or with permanent employment showed higher job involvement and organizational commitment. Furthermore, there was a significantly positive correlation between factors such as task, wage, promotion, relationships with colleagues, supervision, work environment, policies related to tasks, professional growth, and job satisfaction.

The physicochemical characteristics of silk-tofu added with medicinal herb powder preserved in kochujang and deonjang (Tofujang) (약초첨가 비단두부의 장담금에 따른 이화학적 특성)

  • The effect of medicinal herb Powder addition on the Physicochemical characteristics of tofujang preserved in kochujang and deonjang was investigated. The moisture contents of tofujang decreased rapidly till 4 weeks of storage, after which they showed a slight tendency to increase. The PH values of cochujang tofujang and deonjang tofujangs showed a tendency to decrease, but then showed a tendency to increase a little. The saltiness of tofujang increased rapidly till 2 weeks of storage, and then increased gently. The chromaticity of L and a values decreased, and that of b value significantly increased, during a storage. The total microbial counts of kochujang tofujang decreased till 4 weeks of storage, and then increased a little (103 CFU/ml). The total microbial counts of deonjang tofujang were decreased during storage. The total free amino acids content of silk-tofu was extremely small $(0.16\~0.92 mg/ml)$, but after 4 weekn of preservation, that of tofujang preserved in kochujang and deonjang increased to 10mg/ml and 40mg/ml, respectively In the kochujang tofujang, the textural characteristics of hardness, gumminess and chewiness increased rapidly at initial preservation and then showed a tendency to decrease significantly. The springiness and cohesiveness values showed no specific tendency. In the deonjang toking, the textural characteristics of hardness and gumminess increased till 2 weeks of preservation, and then tended to decrease. The springiness, chewiness and cohesiveness value had a tendency to decrease significantly with preservation. In the sensory evaluation, color, aftertaste and overall acceptability of mok-k tofujang showed significantly high score, but there was no significance in nutty taste, sweet, salty and hot. Color, savory, sweet and overall acceptability of mok-d and con-d tofujang were high, and the saltiness and aftertaste of sin-d tofujang got high score.
