Article-related product recommender system is an emerging e-commerce service which recommends items based on association in contexts between items and articles. Current services recommend based on the similarity between tags of articles and items, which is deficient not only due to the high cost in manual tagging but also low accuracies in recommendation. As a component of novel article-related item recommender system, we propose a new method for tagging item images based on pre-defined categories. We suggest a hypernetwork-based algorithm for learning association between images, which is represented by visual words, and categories of products. Learned hypernetwork are used to assign multiple tags to unlabeled item images. We show the ability of our method with a product set of real-world online shopping-mall including 1,251 product images with 10 categories. Experimental results not only show that the proposed method has competitive tagging performance compared with other classifiers but also present that the proposed multi-tagging method based on hypernetworks improves the accuracy of tagging.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a model for increasing international use of Korean scholarly journals. Recently DOI and open access are remarkable from the standpoint of increasing the opportunity of global exposition and citation of domestic scholarly journal papers. The data used in investigation and analysis were from KAMJE, KISTI, DOAJ and SCIMAGO. The model comprising DOI service and open access is obtained through analyzing DOI and open access utilization models and investigation on both.

The purposes of this study were to identify core journals for pharmaceutical researches in Korea and to examine the research domains of Korean pharmaceutical researchers. Journal citation frequency analysis and journal co-citation analysis were performed on the research papers of Korean pharmaceutical researchers. Korean researchers' citation data were gathered from SCOPUS for foreign journals and KSCD for domestic journals. 116 core journals were identified through citation frequency analysis and journal relationships were suggested as a pathfinder network of journals. Factor analysis on journal correlation matrix resulted in 18 subject domains and related journal lists were also given.

With the understandings on users' needs and behaviors of university institutional repositories, the purpose of this study is to investigate the user behaviors and to provide some suggestions to improve the university institutional repository. To achieve the purpose of this study, a questionnaires survey was conducted with users in three university institutional repositories including KOSAS, S-Space and DSpace@INHA. Based on the results of the survey analyses, possible improvement areas and suggestions were made such as users' recognition, access point, searching environment, and utilization of university institutional repository.

Data can be considered a core driver of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and databases are needed to create value by efficiently obtaining, storing and analyzing the data. However, there are currently no adequate valuation methods to handle databases. This study aims first, to understand databases as the subject of valuation and analyze value drivers of databases, and second, to propose a database valuation model based on this finding. To this end, we derive value drivers of databases from the characteristics and value criteria of databases observed in previous studies. Based on survey data from 396 database service firms we verify the value drivers through linear regression analysis. We find that the annual growth rate in database capacity and the data types positively affect sales of databases and offer ways to utilize them when estimating the cash flow, which is the variable to apply the discounted cash flow method-based income approach. This study contributes empirical insights into how to valuate databases considering their value drivers.

현재 국내에서 방송과 통신에서 제공할 수 있는 재난경보서비스 플랫폼 현황을 알아보고, 심각한 재난으로 인하여 재난경보 정보를 송출하는 진원지인 방송국이나 통신사에 장애가 발생하여 재난경보 송출이 불가하여 재난상황에 관한 정보가 TV 나 휴대단말로 전달되지 못하는 상황이 발생할 수 있다. 이러한 긴급 상황을 대비하여 지상파 UHD 방송과 CBS 를 상호연동하여 이중안전망을 구축함으로써 재난경보 전달이 최대한 이루어질 수 있도록 하는 방안을 제안한다.

Although more than 99% of all Korean companies are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which accounts for a large part of the national economy, they are having difficulties in securing information protection capabilities due to problems such as budget and manpower. On the other hand, as 97% of cyber incidents are concentrated in SMEs, it is urgent to strengthen the information protection management and response capabilities of SMEs. Although the government is promoting company-wide information security consulting for SMEs, the need for supplementing it's procedures and consulting items is being raised. Based on the results of information security consulting supported by the government in 2020, this study attempted to derive improvement plans by interviewing SME workers, information security consultants, and system operators. Through the research results, it is expected to create a basis for SMEs to autonomously check the information security management system and contribute to the reference of related policies.

반려동물 시장 및 동물 의료분야의 성장, 동물병원 이용 과정 개선의 필요성으로 반려동물 질병의 시작부터 끝까지 전 과정을 함께하는 원스탑 모바일 애플리케이션을 개발하였다. 증상으로 예상 질병을 진단하는 머신러닝 모델과 자연어 문장을 인식하는 딥러닝 챗봇으로 사용자가 편리하게 반려동물 이상 증상에 대한 예상 질병을 챗봇으로 상담할 수 있도록 구현하였다. 챗봇 시스템을 기반으로 '예상 진단', '질병백과', '문진표', '동물병원' 기능을 추가하여 일관된 기능들로 유기적인 서비스를 구성하였다.

The number of foreign applications available in Korea is increasing. Among them, there are many cases where applications having a large number of domestic users collect users' personal information in an unauthorized manner, causing serious problems. Unauthorized collection of personal information conducted through such applications is highly dangerous, because sensitive personal information of users can be used in a malicious way. Further, this is violation of business ethics and may interrupt the creation of the sound information technology ecosystem. This research is purposed to analyze the current status of unauthorized collection of users' personal information by foreign applications available in Korea and to derive countermeasures thereof.
