Implementation and Performance Analysis of Event Processing and Buffer Managing Techniques for DDS (고성능 데이터 발간/구독 미들웨어의 이벤트, 버퍼 처리 기술 및 성능 분석)

  • Data Distribution Service (DDS) is a communication middleware that supports a flexible, scalable and real-time communication capability. This paper describes several techniques to improve the performance of DDS middleware. Detailed events for the internal behavior of the middleware are defined. A DDS message is disassembled into several submessages of independent, meaningful units for event-driven structuring in order to reduce the processing complexity. The proposed technique of history cache management is also described. It utilizes the fact that status access and random access to the history cache occur more frequently in the DDS. These methods have been implemented in the EchoDDS, the DDS implementation developed by our team, and it showed improved performance.

  • Loyalty is a bonus point that a customer earns in reward of purchasing goods of a shop or a manufacturer. The management of loyalty such as issuing, accounting, reimbursing is carried out by the loyalty system. Traditional loyalty systems were proprietary. As a result, the systems are not interoperable with each other. However, our loyalty system allows a group of merchants join together and use the same IC card to operate their own loyalty programs. Data and counters can be shared or totally isolated, using secret codes and keys. The loyalty pool system communicates with the loyalty service providers over the Internet and performs the management of loyalty in fully automated manner. This paper describes the functional architecture and internal behavior of the loyalty pool system along with the communication protocols.

  • In this paper, we surveyed state-of-the-art health and wellness platforms. The motivation of this paper is to review the state-of-the-art health and wellness platforms and their maturity with respect to adoption of latest enabling technologies. The is review is classified into four categories: healthcare systems, AI-assisted healthcare, wellness platforms, and open source health and wellness initiatives. From this comprehensive review, it can be stated that the contemporary healthcare systems are well-adopting wellness due to the concentration shift towards prevention. Thus, the gap between health and wellness is slowly yet carefully entering gray area. Where both the domains can freely invoke each other's services, and supporting enabling technologies. Furthermore, the biomedical researchers and physicians are no longer carrying the myopic views of trusting their knowledge for diagnosis. AI-assisted technologies based on machine learning and big data are influencing today's prognosis with trust and confidence.

  • PLSI(Partership & Leadership for national-wide Supercomputing Infrastructure) Project is about providing computational resources which maintained by partner institutes to researchers. Each institutes use system monitoring tools adopted their environment different others, it is difficult to understand all system's status at a glance. In this paper, we have designed and implemented monitoring system which system administrator easily understanding all resources status like CPU Load, Job status, etc. in PLSI use web browser.

  • This paper presents the design and implementation of stream control mechanisms which are necessary for the development of an efficient streaming cache server. The streaming protocols used in our implementation are the RTSP/RTP/RTCP standards. The mechanisms support both the on-demand media caching and real-time media splitting applications. The core of the stream control includes the session management, which handles the RTSP/RTCP control session and the RTP transport session, and the cache block management which efficiently manages the RTP-based cache blocks stored in the cache server. The streaming cache server with the proposed stream control mechanism has successfully been implemented on a Linux platform and it works well with the Apple's QTSS server and the QuickTime player for both on-demand and splitting media services.

  • 최근 스포츠 과학과 ICT 기술을 접목하여 스포츠 활동올 분석하고자 하는 시도가 증가하고 있다. 이런 양상은 축구 경기에 대한 분석에서도 나타나고 있으며, 그 목적에 따라 다양한 방법으로 분석을 시도한 사례를 쉽게 발견 할 수 있다. 하지만, 현재까지 제시된 시스템들은 높은 수준의 경기 내용 분석올 제공하려는 시도를 보이지 않고 있다. 본 논문은 통계 분석 위주의 현재 축구 분석 시스템의 한계에 대해 논한 후 이를 내용 이해 기반으로 끌어올리기 위한 시스템의 구성 방법에 대한 구체적인 안을 제시하였다. 제안하는 시스템의 개발을 통하여 새로운 양상의 서비스와 산업 생태계 측면의 긍정적 변화를 기대할 수 있다.

  • In this paper, we present the MGrid system and its application for the construction of the Glycoconjugates simulation database called e-Glycoconjugates. The MGrid system is an integrated molecular simulation grid system for computing, databases, and analyses. For e-Glycoconjugates, we have been constructing the simulation database for 2,000 glycan chains and 100 glycoproteins until 2008. In this paper, we present the goal, architecture, and current implementation status of the MGrid system, and e-Glycoconjugates.

  • At the present day, increasing the web service requirements, along with making XML program easy to create and manage, XML program which progress the research of related technologies enables developer the number of benefits. In order to create XML Documents which include structure that compose documents as well as data, it must have defined about DTD or XML schema that display structure of data. In this study, herewith suggest the design and implementation of method that can be automatically created XML Schema and XML Stylesheet using the web-based XML Tree.

  • Keyword-oriented search methods are mainly used as data search methods, but this is not suitable as a search method in the legal field where professional terms are widely used. In response, this paper proposes an effective data search method in the legal field. We describe embedding methods optimized for determining similarities between sentences in the field of natural language processing of legal domains. After embedding legal sentences based on keywords using TF-IDF or semantic embedding using Universal Sentence Encoder, we propose an optimal way to search for data by combining BERT models to check similarities between sentences in the legal field.

  • Advancement of science and technology have led to development of the media, which has evolved election campaign strategies. Nowadays, media development has made communication more important, and it is a growing trend where smart-device applications are widely used to facilitate communication with electors. Based on Google's Fire base Cloud Messaging (FCM) push service, which keeps up with the fast-changing election trends and supports election campaigns systematically, this research aims to help accomplish the goals of an election campaign by developing an information system and performing empirical analysis of the variables that the information system affects. The system consists of an elector's application and a management system. The management system includes browsing and management of received-and sent-message history, and direct management of the application. By managing the push system in more progressive ways, this system will help to improve the effectiveness of election campaigns and accomplish election goals.
