The purpose of this study is to derive implications of preservice mathematics teacher education in Korea by analyzing the case of edTPA used in the preservice teacher training process in the United States. Recently, there has been a growing interest in promoting professional competencies considering not only the cognitive dimension related to knowledge development of preservice mathematics teachers but also the situational dimension considering reality in the classroom. The edTPA in the United States is a performance-based assessment based on lessons conducted by preservice teachers at school. This study analyzes the professional competencies required of preservice mathematics teachers by analyzing handbooks that described the case of edTPA in which preservice mathematics teachers in the United States participate. The edTPA includes planning, instruction, and assessment tasks, and continuous tasks are performed in connection with classes. Thus, the analysis is conducted on the points of linkage between the description of evaluation items and criteria in the planning, instruction, and assessment tasks, as well as the professional competencies required from that linkage. As a result of analyzing the edTPA handbooks, the professional competencies required of preservice mathematics teachers in the edTPA assessment were the competency to focus on and implement specific mathematics lessons, the competency to reflectively understand the implementation and assessment of specific mathematics lessons, and the competency to make a progressive determination of students' achievement related to their learning and their uses of language and representations. The results of this analysis can be used as constructs for competencies that can be assessed in the preservice in the organization of the preservice mathematics teacher curriculum and practice training semester system in Korea.

The Academic library services are based on specialized subject resources in academic fields in order to maximize the desirable direction of its services. Accordingly, there are some academic libraries introduced and applied subject specialist librarians. However, they can not objectively analyze the strengths and weaknesses as well as future directions to subject specialized service. The purpose of this study examined three library cases which the structure of organized subject specialist librarian. It tried to give a set of effective guidelines for academic libraries to introduce subject specialist librarian. Analysis showed that the initial problems of subject specialist librarians in its early stages are appeared: carrying out the role, appraisal-results in human resource decision making such as rewards and promotion. In order to successful introduction of subject specialist librarian in academic library, there are solutions that solving the problems which happen in early stage, active guidance and public relations strategy for faculty, approaching to activate integration within its library and cooperating among academic libraries should be back up for improving effectiveness in the long term.

In this study, the structure and management of social group with each town, leadership with self-action and network with external organizations will be the main topic. Especially, the condition which make a communication with external organizations for localization is examined as an example of Mori village. As rice productivity has more serious problems than 1990s, many farming systems changed from rice productions to different kinds, like grapes. Particularly, this market and field started with the exchange system between local farms and cities because of the complex structure of grape circulation and increasing import for extra income. Extra income of farming is started to increase because of exchange program between local towns and cities. But, those works are concentrated on one or two leaders. It could be a burden for them. So. we need to change this into new system which the work is not concentrated to few leaders but distribute to everyone.

Recently, this government is implementing the "eradication of four social evils" policy to root out social evils which includes sexual violence, school violence, domestic violence and substandard food. In retrospect, these social evils are the crimes that have sprung from rapid social changes in Korea. These main four crimes not only badly affect certain victims but also spread their viciousness to broad population. Moreover, the prevention of the occurrence of the crime and the problem solving as an individual unit are hardly possible. Due to their critical effects and continuity, governmental safety policy enforcement is achieving higher support. As an alliance with the calling from the public for happier and safer life, this paper especially focus on regulating substandard food issue, according to the idea that food safety is an essential prerequisite for the healthy and happy life of the people. Through the reviewing, definition of the substandard food will be cleared and specified substandard food crimes will be introduced as well. And the paper will also pose questions in order to propose improved legal measures against the existing regulations, such as newly adding additional penalty article to food sanitation law.

The study aims to anticipate evolution direction of mobile content business in the future, and derive successful strategies at the same time with multiple and composite analysis of evolution process and environmental change of mobile business. In conclusion, Firstly, it should strengthen customer approach performance, secondly, approaches with sensitively, and needs opened business model. Fourthly, it needs planning and production of contents which reflects the need of customers, and fifthly, it requires development of mobile platform leading contents group and multiplication of CP business model. In the aspect of industrial policy, sustainable and future-oriented policy should be arranged rather than short-term and simple police, for the continual development of mobile content industry. To establish healthy and active mobile contents industry, the government and regulatory institutes are more preferable to devote to the role of circumstance builder rather than the leader of mobile content market. In other words, they are recommended to focus on establishing basic regulation and order for smooth operation of the market and its management.

Photovoltaic system is the core one among the new and renewable energy of the low Carbon and green growth. Recently, the necessity developing PV is emerging since its of less green hose gas emissions. However, a survey or research on the PV system has been hardly performed. It's not easy to find a appropriate location in consideration of environment. These circumstances encourages a systematic approach for the PV system development. The purpose of this study is to propose a methodology of the location analysis for developing PV system. With this, constraint and location criteria with weights of Analytic Hierarchy Process are established and quantification method of each factor is presented. The location analysis of PV system using the GIS were generalized and the results of analysis for redundant topographic features were presented as 3 criteria of the suitability rank.

The energy use of forest biomass is crucial to deal with climate change and achieve the carbon-neutral goal. This study aims to analyze the economic feasibility of forest biomass thermal energy facilities and calculate the optimal subsidy level of heat supply to ensure continued operation of the facilities. To achieve this aim, the net present value approach (NPV) and call option price model are adopted considering wood chip price volatilities. The Forest Energy Self-Sufficient Village Project financed by Korea Forest Service is considered as the research case study. In our analysis, when 50% of the initial investment is given to the subsidies and RECs are applied to only power generation, NPV and IRR are both negative and the investment value using the real option model is also zero. We concluded that some heat subsidies should be acknowledged to keep the facilities operating. Besides, the simulation results reveal reliable economic values when the heating subsidy is priced at KRW 0.0248 per kcal.

The advances of semiconductor and circuitry technology dovetailed with nano processing techniques have further enhanced micro-miniaturization, sensitivity, longevity and reliability in MID(Medical Implant Device). Nevertheless, one of the remaining challenges is whether power can sufficiently and continuously be supplied for the operation of the MID. Self-powered MID that harvest biomechanical energy from human motion, respiratory and muscle movement are part of a paradigm shift. In this paper, we developed a rechargeable pacemaker through self-power generation with the triboelectric nanogenerator. We demonstrate a fully implanted pacemaker based on an implantable triboelectric nanogenerator, which act as a storage as well as active movement on a large-animal(dog) scale. The self-power pacemaker harvested from animal motion is 2.47V, which is higher than the required pacemaker device sensing voltage(1.35V).

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of career identity on learning persistence and academic achievement, and mediating effect of utility value. To examine the effect of mediating role of utility value, we divided utility value into two types, utility value of daily matters and utility value of career. This study was conducted on 228 senior students in high school, to investigate relations among career identity, utility value, learning persistence and academic achievement in mathematics, by using the structural equation model. The results are as follows. First, career identity positively predicted learning persistence in mathematics. Second, career identity positively predicted the utility value of daily matters and career. Third, both type of utility value in mathematics positively predicted learning persistence in mathematics. Fourth, the utility value of daily matters and career, in mathematics subjects, showed differential predictability toward learning persistence and academic achievement. Both type of utility value in mathematics positively predicted learning persistence, but showed differential predictability toward learning academic achievement. Specifically, the utility value of daily matters in the near future did not predict the academic achievement, but the utility value of career in the distant future positively predicted the academic achievement. Fifth, the utility value was found to play a mediating role in the relationship between career identity and learning persistence. Based on the results of this study, implications for mathematics education were discussed.

This study is to propose a alternative gem that is expressed in various ways instead of jewelry with limited output. It was investigated what materials were used in the alternative gem used in the jewelry design thesis over the past five years. In addition, as a result of a survey to understand the needs of customers, it was found that customers also use resin among resins as an alternative gem, like as research trends. Based on this, the scope of resin use as a alternative gem was expanded and applied to jewelry design rather than the existing method of using resin. As a result, it was found out a various uses of resin as an alternative gem. However, the demand and traditionality that correspond to the conditions of jewelry remain challenges to be established through various jewelry design studies in the future. Therefore, in order to utilize the popular preference of alternative gem, continuous research on applying jewelry design to alternative gem should be continued.
