  • 본 연구에서는 GTO Thyristor로 구성하고 개선한 대용량 전류형GTO Inveter를 설계하였다. 부하로서는 유도전류기를 사용하였으며, 그 동작 특성을 비교 검토한 결과 전류콘덴서를 사용하지 않으므로 전류시 Chopper 회로에 과도현상을 줄였으므로 회로에 안정성이 향상됨을 나타내었다.

  • Transient phenomena in the p-n junction due to the selfheating effect of microplasma current have been investigated for the cases of small current and of large current. For the small current case, the temperature rise of the microplasma site is proportional to the current decrease and a unique time constant could be defined. However, the situation was complicated for the case of large current, and the time constant was not uniquely defined.

  • This paper describes the correlation of the transient impedance and its parameters with the stationary resistance of a grounding system to a square pulse current and a lightning impulse current. In the experiment, the grounding system consists of a single grounding rod$(\Psi10[mm], 1[m])$and/or a triple-grounding rods of equilateral triangles with 5[m] spacing for operation. To analyze the transient impedance characteristics of the grounding system, a pulse generator which can produce square wave of a 30[ns] rise-time and a $20[\mus] $pulse duration is designed and fabricated. The injected content in the grounding system and the developed potential were recorded, and the time variation of the transient impedance were calculated as the ratio of the potential rising to the injected current at each time. The transient impedance and the effective surge impedance Z3 which defines economic protection level in power system were quite higher than the stationary resistance. The grounding impedance is decreased by the application of the triple-rods grounding system, and its effect is decreased as the frequency of the current is increased due to the inductance of the grounding leads.

  • In this paper the formation mechanism of tail current is analyzed and its effect on GTO turn-off performance is given. The conclusion is that the large tail current will considerably increase the turn-off loss $E_{off}$ and cause the re-triggering during GTO's off-switching, therefore the best design criterion is that the tail current of power GTO must be as low as possible.w as possible.

  • 국내 전력계통의 대형화에 따른 고장전류의 증가로 인해 한류리액터 설치사업이 지속적으로 시행되고 있다. 그러나 한류리액터의 설치로 인해 과도안정도가 저하되어 추가적인 계통운영 대책이 동시에 검토되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 기존 한류리액터 설치 개소에 초전도한류기를 대체 적용할 경우, 전압안정도 및 과도안정도가 개선되는 효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 초전도 한류기의 적용을 통하여 한류리액터의 설치목적인 고장전류의 제한조건을 만족하면서도 한류리액터 설치로 인한 단점인 전압안정도 및 과도안정도 저하 문제까지 해소할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Grounding insures a reference potential point for electric devices and also provides a law resistance path for fault or transient currents in the earth. The grounding impedance as a function of frequency is necessary for determining its performance since fault or transient currents could contain a wide range of frequencies. A concrete rod electrode is one of the commonly used grounding electrodes in electric distribution systems. In this paper, the grounding impedance of concrete rods has been measured in frequency raging from 60[Hz] up to 100[kHz] and an equivalent model of the grounding impedance is identified from the measured values. The grounding impedance under study when a typical lightning surge is injected into the grounding system was simulated numerically and graphically through the use of the EDSA software program.

  • 본 연구에서는 전류 영점 직전까지의 대전류 구간에서의 열가스 해석을 수행하여, 그 결과와 과도 회복 전압에 따른 아크 후 전류를 계산하여, 아크 후 전류의 0으로의 수렴 여부를 이용하여 열적 파괴 영역에서의 차단성능을 평가한다 아크 후 전류는 유동해석을 통해 구하여진 극간의 온도분포로부터 계산된 아크 저항과 과도인가회복 전압을 이용하여 계산된다.

  • BESS를 대용량화 하기 위하여 병렬운전에 관련하여 많은 연구가 진행 중이다. 병렬운전 알고리즘의 제어 목표는 인버터 간의 순환전류를 제거하고, 부하 분담이 균등하게 하는 것에 있다. 이를 위하여 연구되었던 방법 중 전압 제어와 전류 제어의 인버터를 결합한 Master-Slave 방식은 통신을 통하여 정확한 부하분담이 가능하지만 통신지연 발생시 과도상태에 과전류가 발생 할 수 있다는 단점을 갖는다. 본 논문은 독립된 계통에서 BESS가 병렬운전 중 스텝부하 투입시 통신지연 시간 동안의 과도상태에서 과전류가 발생하지 않도록 하는 Droop Control를 적용한 제어 알고리즘을 제안한다.
