Improvement of Basic Design Process for Submarines by Integration of SE-Based Technical Review and Requirements Management Process (SE 기반 기술검토 및 요구사항 관리 프로세스의 통합을 통한 잠수함 기본설계 프로세스의 개선)

  • Military vessels are complex weapon systems consisting of various integrated onboard equipment. Since their acquisition of military equipment takes a long period of time and a prototype ship is deployed and tested, vessel development has relied on its proprietary process. However, due to the growing complexity of onboard equipment technology, application of systems engineering (SE) process has become indispensable. Nonetheless, an effective design process complementing the existing design with the SE has not yet been developed. As such, we have studied an improved basic design process for submarines based on SE. To do so, we analyzed the processes for the basic design, technical review, and requirement management. Included reviews and requirements are SRR, SFR and PDR, and SSRS, SSS, and SSDD. By combining the results in the SE framework, we built an improved basic design process that can be applied in parallel with the SE-based technical review and requirement management. To assess the process, we applied our proposed model to the submarine development undergoing the basic design phase. It is possible to effectively manage the requirements, design artifacts and improve traceability, and also utilize them as test and evaluation materials. The SE-based basic design process is expected to be useful in other kinds of vessel design.

  • In This paper, we propose a design procedure for a SD $H_{\infty}$controller with PID performance. In developing the procedure, we use the basic idea of standard$H_{\infty}$problem, and then applied it to the SD system, which consists of the continuous plant and the discrete controller. This $H_{\infty}$controller design procedure involves the selections of weighting functions. The selections considered the relation of the closed loop specification between the $H_{\infty}$controller and PID. We illustrate this procedure in the controller design for a two-mass spring system.

  • For design of a electrical Machine it is used conventional design methode to determine size with considering of magnetical circuit and windings. After this process, Flux density and Torque are calculated with FEM program. But most electrical machines are complicated in their configuration, therefore it is not easy to understand the design process and analyzing methode. We need to develop a educational material. In this paper using Linear force motor, which is relatively not complicated in their configuration and easy to understand the relationship between electro magnetics and force, will be explained the design process and calculating process with Finite element methode. And with FEM program will be calculated and illustrated flux density in each part and Force of the Linear force motor easy to understand.

  • This paper analyzes the navigation error for each rotational motion in order to design an optimal rotation sequence, which is a key technology in the rotational inertial navigation. Rotational inertial navigation system is designed to cancel out navigation errors caused by inertial sensor errors by periodically rotating the inertial measurement unit. A properly sequenced rotational motion cancels out the maximum amount of navigation error and is known as an optimal rotation sequence. To design such an optimal turning procedure, this paper identifies the feasible rotational motions that can be implemented in a rotational inertial navigation system and analyzes the navigation error introduced by each rotational motion. In addition, by analyzing the characteristics of the navigation error generated during a rotation sequence in combination, this paper presents the conditions for designing an optimal rotation sequence.

  • 이 글에서는 한정된 지면에서 P.C박스거더 교량의 설계 및 해석에 관하여 간략히 소개하였다. 구조해석 및 설계 등이 어떤 일정한 틀이 있어 모든 구조 Engineer들이 반드시 따라야 할 정형화된 절차가 있는 것이 아니라 최소한의 규정을 갖는 설계 및 시방규준들을 근간으로 구조 Engineer들 각자의 창의력과 공학적 판단 및 근거제시를 통해 수행됨에 비추어 볼 때 본 고의 내용은 하나의 예일 뿐이다. 본 지면을 빌어 강조하고 싶은 것은 최근의 교량이 장대화되고 다양한 시공법에 의한 시공절차로 건설됨으로 인해 완성구조계가 같은 교량일지라도 완성구조계에 도달하기까지의 구조계 및 하중/응력 상태가 다양하게 변화됨에 따라 구조 Engineer는 설계시에 반드시 시공과정을 철저히 모사(simulation)하고 시공중에서도 계속해서 현장의 변화되는 사항을 Feed-Back시키므로써 최근 시공중에 자주 발생되는 장대교량의 구조적인 문제점들을 미연에 방지하는 노력을 기울여야겠다.

  • 농업용 전기차는 일반 전기차에 비해 경량성 및 연료의 효율성이 매우 중요하다. 또한, 충돌에 대비한 재질의 강도적인 측면에서 다소 자유로움을 가진다. 본 연구에서는 레이저 가공, 절곡, 도장 등의 복잡한 절차를 통한 가공 공정을 대체하여 생산의 효율성을 극대화 할 수 있는 진공성형을 위한 전기차 전면부 3차원 설계 방법을 제안한다. 보닛 및 휀더의 3차원 설계 및 진공성형 금형 기술 개발을 통하여 제품의 안정성과 생산성 및 편의성을 향상시키는 것이 연구의 주요 목적이다. 주요 연구 절차는 CATIA를 이용한 설계 결과물을 바탕으로 ABAQUS를 이용한 구조해석을 통해 안정성을 확인하고 3D Scanner를 이용하여 시제품의 치수 확인을 통한 실효성을 검증한다. 본 연구의 결과물은 농업용 전기차 주 고객층인 고령자 및 여성 농업 종사자들에게 널리 사용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • 현재 연구되어 제시된 웹 애플리케이션의 개발방법론들은 거의 대부분 기능적인 측면, 화면설계/구현영역을 주로 대상으로 하고 있으며 사용자의 요구사항 분석 절차에 대해서는 언급하지 않고 있어, 웹 애플리케이션을 개발하는데 있어서 광범위한 사용자의 요구사항을 충분하게 반영하지 못한다거나, 사용자가 자유롭게 정보에 접근하는 항해 기능의 설계가 어렵다는 등의 문제가 발생하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 객체지향 애플리케이션 개발을 위한 요구공학 프로세스를 살펴보고, 웹 애플리케이션에 적용할 때 발생하는 문제점들을 보완하는 웹 애플리케이션 개발에 적용할 수 있는 요구분석 프로세스를 확립하여 제안하고, K업체의 인터넷 구매관리 시스템에 적용하여 구현하였다.

  • Acceleration time history used in the seismic analysis of nuclear power plant structures should envelop a target power spectral density (PSD) function in addition to the design response spectrum in order to have sufficient energy at each frequency for the purpose of ensuring adequate load. The safety for complex long-span highway bridges cannot be over-emphasize. An alternative method to improve the seismic capacity is to ensure the minimum PSD function of the applied seismic load. This study proposes a technical scheme to obtain the reference power spectral density function by using artificial earthquakes which are compatible with the highway bridge design spectrum.

Study of Problem Design for PBL in Creative Engineering Design Subject (창의공학설계 교과에서 PBL을 위한 문제 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The aim of this study was to specify the procedures of problem design for employing problem based learning (PBL) and designing problems for the learning content of the subject. The procedures for designing good problems are composed of the selection of educational contents, determining the learner's characteristics, identifying problems, setting roles and situations, and writing down problems. Using the procedures, four integration problems covering the contents of a creative engineering design subject were designed. The talent needed in a current industrial site can be fostered with PBL, not whole-class learning. A creative engineering design subject based on PBL was planned, which focused on the process of design problems. To make an effect of this PBL, studies applying this instructional design to many lectures should be implemented.
