Development of Practical Convergence Education by Construction of the Wind Power System Using the Wind by Car (차량주행풍을 이용한 풍력발전 시스템 구축을 통한 실무 융합 교육 개발)

  • The research goals of this study using the wind by car as replaceable energy are summarized to three things as follows. The first goal is to secure a replaceable energy source of environmental conveniency through the wind power system by the wind by car. The second goal is to develop a educational program for related convergence professional man. The third goal is to make a wind power system for a replaceable energy education. We have performed for obtaining a research goal during six months. So, we concluded three results as follows. The system for doing a wind by car is modeled. New convergence educational program for department of electrical, electronic, mechanical engineering is developed under this system. And, the wind power system is produced for practice education of demonstration for replaceable energy.

  • Recently, developments of engineering technology are too fast change to educate the students in the college of engineering. The lag between the innovation of the technology and the education of the college of engineering becomes larger and larger. In this situation, the appropriate education update system is needed to change the curricula for the updated engineering education. In this paper, the job analysis method which is used in the technical service area is transformed to design the curriculum of the general higher education area. The job analysis method which is used in the technical service area derives the competence too detail and complex to used in the higher education area. for the higher education area, the social activity analysis of the alumni is needed to extract the representative jobs of the area. Also using this representative jobs, the job analysis and competence derivation is conducted. If needed, the regular expert meeting is held to converge the job-site opinions of the graduate and industry people. This curriculum changing process is provided as a part of the circular self-improve education system of the Electrical Engineering of the MyongJi University.

An In-depth Survey Analysis Applying Data Mining Techniques (데이터마이닝을 이용한 설문조사의 심층 분석)

  • To accomplish the educational objectives of a department, a system for CQI(Continuous Quality Improvement) is necessary. Improving the educational system by survey analysis is one of the most important factors for accomplishing the educational objectives. In general, survey analysis is carried out by using statistical distribution on an attribute or correlation analysis between two attributes. However, these analysis schemes have a limitation that they cannot find relations among various attributes. In this paper, an in-depth survey analysis method applying data mining techniques is presented. Data mining is a technique for extracting interesting knowledges from a large set of data. Survey from undergraduate students in the School of Computing of Soongsil University is analyzed in this paper by using a data mining tool, called Clementine. Results of Clementine analysis show the relationship between 'grade', and other attributes hierarchically, and provide useful information that can be applied in student consulting and program improvement.

Differences in Career Education and Experience of Middle and High School Students on Career Plan Recognition (중·고등학생의 진로교육 및 체험이 진로계획 인식에 미치는 차이)

  • This study focused on the perception of career plans(life goals, self-standards, future prospects) based on the experience and satisfaction of career education and experiences of adolescents. To this end, 2,998 adolescents aged 13 to 18 are divided into middle and high school students groups(Inexperienced group, Dissatisfied group, experienced satisfaction group) by utilizing the 'career, career and vocational field' of the Youth Comprehensive Survey. The main results of this study are as follows. Differences by group of career plans were higher in the majority of experienced satisfaction groups than in the inexperienced and dissatisfied groups, and the more experienced and satisfied the career education and experience, the more confident they were in life goals, self-standards, and future prospects. In addition, in the case of self-standards and future prospects, the satisfaction of the inexperienced group was higher than that of the dissatisfied group, and when satisfied with the experience, the average value of the middle school group was higher than that of the high school group. Finally, based on the results, implications and limitations for follow-up studies were discussed.

A Study on Course-Embedded Assessment for Program Outcomes of Information Security Program for Engineering Education Accreditation (공학교육인증을 위한 정보보호학 프로그램의 교과 기반 학습성과 평가에 관한 연구)

  • This paper evaluates the achievement of program outcomes using course-embedded assessment for information security programs. In the case study concerning the development of course-embedded assessment used in this paper, we evaluate program outcomes using various evaluation tools including the course evaluation data. In addition, we consider the evaluation rubric and evaluation procedure for course-embedded program outcomes, set performance criteria, select the probe course with high contribution to the program outcomes according to curriculum flowchart, set course objectives for the probe course, and explain the rubric for each assessment tool to measure achievement level. Subsequently, we perform course-embedded program outcomes assessment, based on tests and projectevaluation tool for each program objectives, and present the achievement levels based analysis results. These results prove the effectiveness of the proposed course-embedded assessment for program outcomes.

A Systematic Review of AI Education Research Trends (인공지능교육 연구 추이에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰)

  • 본 연구는 최근 10년간 발표된 국내 학술지 및 학위논문을 대상으로 체계적 문헌고찰을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 인공지능교육에 대한 연구 활동 추이를 살펴보고, 향후 연구 방향성을 위한 기초자료를 확보하는 것을 목표로 한다. 연구방법으로는 학술연구정보서비스 데이터베이스를 활용하였고, '인공지능교육', '인공지능교육프로그램', 'AI교육' 등을 키워드로 검색하였다. 최종적으로 선정된 문헌은 51편이었으며 선정된 문헌의 연도별 발표 현황, 연구대상, 연구주제어에 대해 분석하였다. 그 결과 인공지능교육 연구 활동은 2020년부터 많은 연구가 시작되었으며 초등학생을 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많았고, 키워드로는 인공지능, 인공지능교육, 초등학교, 소프트웨어교육, 언플러그드컴퓨팅 순으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 향후 중·고등학교에 인공지능 적용 연구를 하고자 한다.

  • Student success in higher education is largely determined by experiences during the freshman year. We believe freshman succeed when they make progress toward fulfilling their educational and personal goals: 1) developing academic and intellectual competence; 2) establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships; 3) deciding on a career and life-style; 4) maintaining personal health and wellness; and 5) developing an integrated philosophy of life. The study analyzed the factors which influence the students' academic and personal life in the process of education. And is also provided a suggestion to propose directions for the effectiveness of the freshman education

The Effect of Achievement Goal Orientation on College Life Satisfaction and Sense of Belongings: The Longitudinal Analysis with Latent Growth Modeling (성취목표지향성이 대학생활만족도와 소속감에 미치는 영향: 잠재성장모형을 이용한 종단 분석)

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of the achievement goal orientation on college students' life satisfaction and sense of the belonging. This study used the analysis of the latent growth model to comprehend the slope of the 3 years longitudinal data. The result was that mastery approach and mastery avoidance affected the initial value of college life satisfaction, but not its slope as the time of 3 years went. On the other hand, performance approach was the opposite of mastery approach and mastery avoidance to college students' life satisfaction. Performance avoidance did not have an influence on both the initial value and the slope of college students' life satisfaction. The effect of the achievement goal orientation to the sense of belonging was also explored and its result was that mastery approach and mastery avoidance affected the initial value of the sense of belonging. However, it was different that performance approach did not influence the slope of the sense of belonging.

Analysis of Per-Position Characteristics Recognized by Tenure Women Managers (근속 여성관리자가 인식하는 직위별 특성 분석)

  • This study focused on the importance of job position as a role model for female career adaptation. To do this, we used the KWMP data to conduct a Multinomial logit analysis to examine the influence factors of the tenure women managers. As a result, first, section chief position showed a low level of life satisfaction and showed difficulty of beginner's manager. Second, it is predicted that the position of the Deputy Head of Department will establish the identity of work as an intermediate manager. Third, head of department Director showed a high age, target status, possibility of achieving the target, and duration of the next job. Fourth, executive level has the least average experience of discrimination on monthly average wage. It was suggested that it is important to develop individual career by recognizing that the organizational atmosphere and personnel management are lower than those of the other positions. It was found that age, organizational atmosphere and personnel management, goal status, possibility of achieving goals, next job tenure period, monthly average wage, welfare, and life satisfaction factors were the most influential factors in women career adjustment. Finally, implications and limitations were discussed based on the results of this study.

  • This study examined performance-related competencies for vocational training teachers and development process of Competency-Based Curriculum(CBC). Based on literature review of competencies, education and training of vocational training teachers, we developed competency modeling integrating job analysis, Behavioral Event Interview for vocational training teachers and Competency Dictionary and analyzed validity of competency modeling and competency need and proposed education and training program across competencies and training module. Finally we proposed necessary operating and management methods to effectively develop competencies for vocational training teachers using CBC.
