  • 대부분의 제품 생산 시에는 시제품을 제작하여 이에 대한 성능 심사를 통해 미비한 부분을 보완하기 위한 재설계 작업과정을 필요로 한다. 설계 작업에 가장 중요한 부분인 특정 설계 변수에 대한 민감도의 파악은 설계 작업의 핵심적인 역할을 하고 있다. 대개의 경우 진동설계를 위한 설계변수로 구조물의 단위면적, 길이, 재료의 성질과 같은 물리적인 변수를 많이 활용하고 있으며 이러한 변수들에 대한 민감도 해석 기법들은 이미 많은 연구를 통해 실용화되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 변수만으로는 주어진 조건을 만족하도록 설계하기가 어려운 경우가 있다. 이런 경우는 부가구조물을 첨가하여 저진동 설계조건을 만족하는 구조물을 제작하는 것이 보편적이다. 한편, 구조물의 최적화 과정에서 고유진동수를 고려해야 하는 경우가 많다. 저주파 영역의 문제에서는 첫번째 고유진동수가 구조물의 진동량에 관계되는 중요한 요인이 되고, 또한 공진에 의한 문제가 발생했을 경우에는 고유진동수를 옮겨서 공진을 회피할 수 있기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 에어컨 실외기의 진동을 저감하고 그로 인한 구조기인 소음을 저감하기 위하여 음압 레벨을 바탕으로 정한 관심 주파수 영역에 고유진동수가 존재하지 않도록 부가구조물을 최적화하였다. 최적화에 필요한 민감도는 신뢰성 있는 유한요소 모델을 구성하는 것이 쉽지 않으므로 실험으로 구한 주파수 응답함수를 이용하였다.

Measurement of Effective Linewidth for Ca-Zr Substituted YIG (Ca-Zr치환 YIG의 유효 선폭 측정)

  • The effective linewidth was measured using the conventional cavity perturbation method at 9.43 GHz in room temperature for Ca-Zr substituted yttrium iron garnet plate. The experimental set-up consists of the network analyzer, the electromagnet and the cylimdrical TE001 cavity. Measurement was performed in the static magnetic field perpendicular to the sample plane. The real and imaginary parts of diagonal component of the microwave susceptibility tensor are obtained from the resonance frequency and the quality factor Q of the cavity. Variations of the effective linewidth was qualitatively explained with the spin wave scattering theory.

Shape Oscillation and Detachment of Droplet on Vibrating Flat Surface (진동하는 평판 위의 액적의 형상 진동 및 제거 조건에 대한 연구)

  • This study aimed to understand the mode characteristics of a droplet subject to periodic forced vibration and the detachment of a droplet placed on a plate surface. An surface was coated with Teflon to clearly observe the behavior of a droplet. The contact angle between the droplet and surface and the hysteresis were found to be approximately $115^{\circ}C$ and within $25^{\circ}C$, respectively. The coating process was performed in a clean room that had an environment with a low level of contaminants and impurities such as air dust, detergents, and particles. To predict the resonance frequency of a droplet, theoretical and experimental approaches were applied. Two high-speed cameras were configured to acquire side and top views and thus capture different characteristics of a droplet: the mode shape, the detachment, the separated secondary droplet, and the waggling motion. A comparison of the theoretical and experimental results shows no more than 18 discrepancies when predicting the resonance frequency. These differences seem to be caused by contact line friction, nonlinear wall adhesion, and the uncertainty of the experiment. For lower energy inputs, the contact line of the droplet was pinned and the oscillation pattern was axisymmetric. However, the contact line of the droplet was de-pinned as the oscillation became more vigorous with increased energy input. The size of each lobe at the resonance frequency is somewhat larger than that at the neighboring frequency. A droplet in mode 2, one of the primary mode frequencies, exhibits vertical periodic movement as well as detachment and secondary ejection from the main droplet.

  • 축전지를 탑재한 프레임형 랙에 대한 공진탐색시험결과를 이용하여 유한요 소에 의한 수치해석모형을 결정하였다. 내진검증시험은 에이징시험을 거친 3 개의 축전지를 포함하여 28개의 축전지를 탑재한 시험랙을 대상으로 수행되 었다. 공진탐색시험으로부터 구한 모달특성치를 이용하여 지진응답을 해석하 였으며 실험치와 부합함을 확인하였다. 시험랙의 지진응답이 실제 설치될 60 개의 축전지를 갖는 전체랙의 응답보다 크므로, 시험랙에 의한 내진검증이 보다 열악한 조건에서 수행되었다고 볼 수 있다. 시험랙에 대한 내진검증시 구조부재의 구조적 안정성과 축전지의 성능유지를 확인한 바 있으므로 전체 랙의 경우에도 내진검증이 이루어졌다고 판단된다.

Experiment and Analysis for the Horizontal Vibration Control of Access Floor on Reinforced Concrete Structures (철근 콘크리트 구조물의 Access Floor 수평진동 제어를 위한 실험 및 해석)

  • This paper is on the vibration control of access floor on the frames of reinforced structure. In this study, the horizontal anti-vibration system using precise spring damper was developed and modeling and vibration analysis of the RC structure was performed for the control of horizontal vibration coused by machinery and worker's moving. Experiment was done in three cases, no damper at the RC structures, dampers connecting pedestal to pedestal and pedestal to the structure, for the investigation of the effect of the system on disigned RC structure. For each experiment, the occeleration responses on slab and access floor after giving impact wave and external vibration were measured. It was shown that the magnitude of resonance response of the system with dampers are smaller than without damper and the resonance peak also partly moved to low-frequency range. Furthermore. It was shown that the acceleration components of the system with domoers decreased greatly in high-frequency range and the system was very much effective especially for external vibration. In order to verify the anti-vibration effect of the developed system, the vibration analysis was also done for the system by using the finite element modelling. The analysis results was in good agreement with experimental results. Thus, It is concluded that this study is useful for the design of precise anti-vibration system and micro-vibration control of concrete structures.

Vibration Characteristics of the Point-symmetric Mode in a Spherical Piezoelectric Transducer (구형 압전 변환기의 점대칭 방사모드 진동 특성)

  • The object of this paper is to examine the vibration characteristics of the point-symmetric radial mode in a spherical piezoelectric transducer. The differential equations of piezoelectric radial motion are derived in terms of the radial displacement and electric potential, which are functions of the radial coordinate and time. Applying mechanical and electrical boundary conditions yields the characteristic equation of radial vibration. Numerical results of the natural frequencies are compared with the experimental measurements. The paper discusses the difference between piezoelectric and elastic resonances and the dependence of the natural frequencies on the radius and thickness of the piezoelectric spheres. As a result it is concluded for the first radial mode that the natural frequency is reduced due to the piezoelectric phenomenon and that the frequency exponentially decreases as the sphere radius increases.

  • 최근 전자 부품으로써 널리 사용되는 압전 변압기근 고전계 구동시 야기되는 압전체의 기계적인 진동 손실 및 유전 손실에 의해 높은 온도 상승이 초래된다. 이는 압전 변압기의 동작 특성 변화를 일으키며 결국 안전 변압기의 공진 주파수의 변화 및 효율의 감소 등 비선형성의 원인이 된다. 본 논문에서는 유한 요소법을 이용한 압전 변압기의 공진 특성을 해석하였으며 이를 이용하여 압전 변압기의 기계저인 진동 손실 및 유전 손실을 계산하였다. 또한 유한 요소법을 이용한 3차원 열전달 방정식의 해석을 이용하여 암전 변압기의 온도 분포를 해석하였으며 이를 실험적으로 검증하였다.

  • 냉장고에 적용된 BLDC Fan Motor에 있어서 공진소음의 원인에 대하여 연구하였다. 연구에 있어서 종래의 가진 방법을 적용하기 곤란한 구조를 가진 소형 Fan & Rotor System의 동 특성 실험에서 전자 가진법 및 Microphone을 이용한 고유진동수 계측방법을 사용하고 그 타당성을 보였으며 연구결과, Pan과 Rotor System의 비틀림 고유진동수와 Fan의 굽힘 고유진동수가 BLDC Motor의 Commutating Torque Ripple에 의한 가진 주파수와 일치하여 공진이 발생하는 것으로 분석 되었으며 이와 관련된 주요 인자를 분석하고 대안을 제시하였다.

  • Vibration control of concrete slab mounting precision instrument is needed to make the working vibration environments in frequency domain as well as time domain. In order to take the vibration control countermeasures, signal and system analyses of the concrete slab are processed. Through them the dynamic responses of concrete slab are obtained in frequency domain, and frequency response functions are acquired by exciting the concrete slab and measuring dynamic responses at various points across its surface. The dynamic characteristics of concrete slab are determined by experimental modal analysis. Based on modal parameters from a set of frequency response function measured, it is possible to investigate the effects of potential design modifications and reduce the dynamic response of concerned point by moving or suppressing an objectionable modal resonance conditions through structural dynamics modification.

Suggestion of an experimental method for optimization of flange point of a bolt-clamped Langevin-type ultrasonic transducer (볼트 체결형 란주반 초음파 트랜스듀서의 프렌지 포인트 최적화를 위한 실험적 방법 제안)

  • In the power ultrasound fields, the flange position for fixing the transducer is an important factor influencing on electro-mechanical efficiency of the transducer. We suggested a practical method that can determine the installation position of the flange for different resonance modes of the bolt-clamped type Langevin ultrasonic transducer. A semicircular wedge-shaped jig was manufactured and moved along the lateral surface of the transducer. The vibration characteristics were examined after a constant pressure was applied to the semicircular wedge-shaped jig. By observing the change of the input admittance of the transducer depending on the position of the pressure application, the optimum position for the flange installation could be determined. The resonant modes of the transducer were calculated by a Mason's equivalent circuit, and the particle velocity distribution for each resonance mode was calculated by a transmission line model. Since the optimum positions determined from an experimental result show a good correspondence with the node positions of the vibration modes calculated by the transmission line model, the validity of the suggested method was verified.
