The present study aims to explore news sharers' characteristic. Specifically, it aims to look at news sharers' demographic characteristics, old media news usage and new media news usage. Besides, it also explores factors affecting news sharing behavior. The study used the second data of Korea Press Foundation. Findings from surveys suggest that first, news sharers are younger and have higher education than not news sharers. Second, news sharers use less news through old media while more news through new media. Third, political orientation, portal, SNS and online video platform new usage, messenger news reliability have positive effects on news sharing, while age and portal news reliability have negative effects on it. Based on these findings, implication, limitations, and topics for future research are discussed.

일본국제종합인쇄기자재전 JGAS 2013이 지난 10월 2일부터 5일까지 나흘 간 약 3만1000 여명의 관람객이 참가한 가운데 막을 내렸다. 국내에서도 한국후지제록스를 비롯한 다양한 프린팅 기업들이 일본 동경을 방문해 일본 및 전 세계 인쇄 시장의 트렌드를 공유하고 새로운 인쇄기기와 솔루션을 경험해보는 시간을 가졌다.

경남발전연구원 역사문화센터는 지난 8월 27일 남해유배문학관에서 '남해 고려대장경 판각지 성역화 사업을 위한 학술심포지엄'을 개최했다. 이번 학술심포지엄은 고려대장경 판각과 관련된 시설물로 추정되는 전 선원사지와 백련암지의 발굴성과를 공개하고 분사남해대장도감과 고려대장경 조성공간에 대한 역사학계의 연구성과를 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.

지난달 10월 $12{\sim}17$일 페루 리마에서 제38차 APEC TEL 희의의 일환으로, '사이버 보안 인식제고 워크샵(Cyber Security Awareness Raising Workshop)'이 개최됐다. 이날 회의에서는 우리나라를 비롯해 미국, 호주 등 정보보호 문화운동이 우수한 국가들이 활동현황이 소개되는 한편, 국가간 의견 공유가 이뤄졌다. 그 가운데 우리나라의 정보보호 인식제고 활동이 자세히 소개되면서 APEC 회원국으로부터 집중 관심을 받기도 했다.

This paper critically investigates the cultural phenomenon surrounding the news mobile phone app in which 'curation', relying on the news editing and adaption, has become much more significant than making the news directly. This study affirms the fact that a copying culture which is basically a combinative effect of duplication (alias) and imitation(mimesis) enables us enrich the human beings' creative activities. However, we need to warn the regressive aspects of copying culture challenging the journalistic principles. This study exemplifies a case of Pikicast, which has become the most rapid growing news content mobile app in Korea. By doing a case study, this paper suggests that 'social gift' should be given to the online users as a whole. The communal and social gift would be an alternative way to the unpaid crawling of the news resources from the digital commons by the news content curating corporation such as Pikicast.
