Frequency range expansion of pneumatic exciter by using dual-chamber (이중챔버를 이용한 공압 가진기의 주파수 범위 확장)

  • Pneumatic exciters can be good replacements of electrodynamic, piezoelectric and hydraulic exciters owing to simple structure and large exciting force. One problem to be solved is a slow response caused by compressibility of air. Desirable frequency response characteristics of exciter are constant magnitude and zero degree phase, because users want no time delay between input signal and output force. For this reason, frequency range of pneumatic exciters is limited about 0~1 Hz. Therefore, expansion of frequency range is an important issue when designing the pneumatic exciter. In this paper, the pneumatic exciter which has same structure with active pneumatic isolator is dealt with. The dynamic characteristics are presented, and its limitation of expanding frequency range is shown based on analytical studies. Then the pneumatic exciter with dual-chamber is suggested to overcome this problem. Based on simulation study, a design method is presented.

  • 콤바인 곡물 포대 자동화장치개발은 콤바인 운전자 및 작업자의 피로경감과 안전보호 및 작업성능의 향상을 기하기 위하여 행하여 졌으며, 본 연구의 개발은 기존의 콤바인 작업이 2명이 소요되는 것을 운전자 1명이 수확작업을 할 수 있도록 하며, 노동력의 절감과 작업의 편리성을 도모하고자 하였다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 곡물 포대의 정 위치화를 위해서 용량형 근접위치센서를 설치하였으며, 포대의 과다이송에 따른 모터의 부하를 최소화 하기위해 선단부와 슈트부에 각각 위치센서를 설치하여 포대의 위치를 제어하였다. 2) 곡물 투입장치부의 작동은 공기압축기와 공압실린더를 이용한 공압시스템을 사용하였으며, 곡물의 투입량제어는 슈트부 게이트의 열림시간을 제어하여, 곡물의 투입량을 제어하였다. 3) 포대 배출장치는 이송장치로부터 이송되어진 충진된 포대를 제 2의 포대가 충진하는 영역 밖으로 밸트 컨베이어를 이용 이송하도록 하였다. 4) 포대는 B3 포대의 경우가 가장 투입량이 많은 것으로 나타났으며, 가진을 한 경우가 하지 않은 경우보다 비교적 투입량이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 개발된 포대 자동화장치에서는 포대의 가진 장치를 장착하지 않았으며, 실험은 인위적으로 가진을 하여 실행하였으며, 향후 전체적인 장치의 성능 향상을 위해서 포대의 가진 장치가 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

  • 단락발전기를 이용하여 대전류 단락시험을 실시하는 시험 설비중 단락전류 투입시 정밀한 투입 위상각 제어와 주접점 접촉시 바운싱이 없는 투입개폐기 특성이 요구된다. 이러한 특성을 만족시키기 위하여 공압식, 모터식, 유압식등 여러 종류의 투입개폐기가 사용되고 있으며 Actuator와 주 접점 형상설계 및 조립기술에 의한 바운싱이 없는 제품 제작이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 정격전압 24 kV 단락전류 47 kA, 통전시간 0.5 s의 투입용량과 연속 반복 투입시 $\pm0.1$ ms의 오차특성을 가진 정밀급 유압식 투입개폐기의 동작특성과 핵심부품 조사 및 바운싱 제거를 위한 대책실시와 반복시험을 통하여 투입개폐기 특성에 대한 연구를 목적으로 한다.

Development of An Integrated Controller for a Direct Drive Turbo Compressor (직접 구동방식 터보 압축기를 위한 통합 제어기 개발)

  • Turbo compressors need high speed rotating impeller in structure, high rate gearbox and conventional induction motor. This mechanical system increased moment of inertia and mechanical friction loss. Recently turbo compressor has adopted a super high-speed motor and driver and have made its size smaller and mechanical friction loss at minimum. In this paper, variable super high - speed motor controller, compressor controller and MMI controller are implemented with only one DSP (TMS320VC33) chip for a 150HP, 70,000rpm direct drive turbo compressor. It was required hardware and software integration. The result of integration, Controller hardware became simple and all control software are developed same developing tool. The implements turbo compressor meets the requirements.

Resently the study of turbo compressor applied super high speed motor and drive, removing gearbox made its size small and mechanical friction loss minimum. In this study we tried to develope variable super high speed motor controller, compressor controller and MMI controller under one DSP based systems for 1500Hp, 70,000rpm direct drive Turbo compressor. It have to do unitification of each controller"s hardware and software. The result of study is applied to a 150Hp direct turbo compressor and makes it goods.oods.

  • The vibration test system of SITC(Satellite Integration and Test Center) at KARI(Korea Aerospace Research Institute) has been used successfully for the environmental tests of a majority of korean space programs, such as KOMPSAT, Koreasat KITSAT, STSAT and KSR program since 1996. To meet the recent needs of large size test facility available for the vibrational tests of the huge launch vehicles and tole-communication satellites which will be developed in the near future, KARI undertook to construct the large size multi-electromagnetic shaking system with 3 $\times$ 3m head expander system. The new system will consist of three electromagnetic shakers which has 160 kN thrust force individually, and be able te sustain up to 8 tons test load and 300 kNm overturing moment. And to avoid the tremendous cost and effort to furnish the seismic block with large size and weight, it will adopt a Lin-E-Air type configuration with which the seismic block is less severe than a Solid-Truninon type. In addition, to fulfill the strong requirement of high overturning moment the additional guidance system including a central bearing system on a central support and several pad bearings around the head expander body is now considered. This paper describes the configuration and the design parameters of the multi-shaking system which is under development by KARI's engineers.

Study on Dynamic Characteristics and Performance of Tip Jet Rotor Using Small-scaled Rotor (축소로터를 이용한 Tip Jet 로터의 성능 및 동특성 연구)

  • In this study, a small-scaled test system for a tip jet rotor was developed to contribute to the research on unmanned compound rotorcraft. The performance and dynamic characteristics of the tip jet rotor were investigated using the test system. The diameter of the tip jet rotor was set to 2m in consideration of the size of the test site and the pneumatic supply capacity of the. The rotating speed of the rotor was controlled by the pressure of the compressed air. The thrust and forces during the rotor rotation were measured using a load measuring device. A hydraulic actuator was installed for the dynamic test and full-bridge strain gages were attached to the root of each blade to measure the flap, lag, and torsion-wise responses generated when the rotor is excited by the actuator. The performance and dynamic characteristic tests were conducted at various rotor speeds and blade pitches. In order to check the validity of the test results, the results were also compared with the CAMRAD II analysis.
