  • For using Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS) in the civil aviation, it should satisfies the Required Navigation Performances(RNPs) which are defined by International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO). RNP defines the required accuracy, integrity, availability, continuity of each flight procedure. In order to guarantee user's integrity, user's protection level has to be overestimated. On the other hand, for improving user's availability, user's protection level has to be estimated tightly. Therefore protection level should be estimated as tight as possible while it assuring the user's integrity. This paper describes the current integrity function of Korean WAD GNSS test bed, and predicts the availability performance of Korean WAD GNSS by simulation.

RF Seeker LOS Rate Estimation Method using Covariance and Signal Management (공분산 및 신호관리를 이용한 RF탐색기 시선각 변화율 추정기법)

  • The line-of-sight(LOS) rate is estimated using Kalman filter in Radio-Frequency(RF) seeker. For the two axis gimbaled seeker, proper system modeling is considered and the basic filter structure is set up. The main issue for Kalman filter is choosing the proper process and measurement noise. For the measurement process, the signal to noise ratio(SNR) and other components are introduced. To cope with the eclipse problem or other abnormal seeker status, the pseudo input signal concept is proposed. By conditioning abnormal signals, the LOS rate estimation performance is increased. The process noise is also an important factor in the propagation phase. The analytical approach on a process noise component is performed and a reliable region for the filter is calculated based on the eigenvalue analysis. Some numerical simulations are performed to check the validity of suggested algorithm.

A Real-time Copper Foil Inspection System using Multi-thread (다중 스레드를 이용한 실시간 동판 검사 시스템)

  • The copper foil surface inspection system is necessary for the factory automation and product quality. The developed system is composed of the high speed line scan camera, the image capture board and the processing computer. For the system resource utilization and real-time processing, multi-threaded architecture is introduced. There are one image capture thread, 2 or more defect detection threads, and one defect communication thread. To process the high-speed input image data, the I/O overlap is used through the double buffering. The defect is first detected by the predetermined threshold. To cope with the light irregularity, the compensation process is applied. After defect detection, defect type is classified with the defect width, eigenvalue ratio of the defect covariance matrix and gray level of defect. In experiment, for high-speed input image data, real-time processing is possible with multi -threaded architecture, and the 89.4% of the total 141 defects correctly classified.

A robust data association gate method of non-linear target tracking in dense cluttered environment (고밀도 클러터 환경에서 비선형 표적추적에 강인한 자료결합 게이트 기법)

  • This paper proposes the H∞ norm based data association gate method to apply robustly the data association gate of passive sonar automatic target tracking which is on non-linear targets in dense cluttered environment. For target tracking, data association method selects the measurements within validated gate, which means validated measuring extent, as candidates for the data association. If the extent of the validated gate in the data association is not proper or the data association executes under dense cluttered environment, it is difficult to maintain the robustness of target tracking due to interference of clutter measurements. To resolve this problem, this paper proposes a novel gating method which applies H∞ norm based bisection algorithm combined with 3-σ gate method under Gaussian distribution assumption and tracking error covariance. The proposed method leads to alleviate the interference of clutters and to track the non-linear maneuvering target robustly. Through analytic method and simulation to utilize simulated data of horizontal and vertical bearing measurements, improvement of data association robustness is confirmed contrary to the conventional method.

  • In this paper, an automotive ECU (electronic control unit) with Kalman filter accelerator is designed and implemented. RISC-V is exploited as a processor core. Accelerator for Kalman filter matrix operation, CAN (controller area network) controller for in-vehicle network, and LIN (local interconnect network) controller are designed and embedded. Kalman filter operation consists of time update process and measurement update process. Current state variable and its error covariance are estimated in time update process. Final values are corrected from input measurement data and Kalman gain in measurement update process. Usually floating-point multiplication is exploited in software implementation, but fixed-point multiplier considering accuracy analysis is exploited in this paper to reduce hardware area. In 28nm silicon fabrication, its operating frequency, area, and gate counts are 100MHz, 0.37mm2, and 760k gates, respectively.

Simulation Analysis of Control Variates Method Using Stratified sampling (층화추출에 의한 통제변수의 시뮬레이션 성과분석)

  • This research suggests a unified scheme for using stratified sampling and control variates method to improve the efficiency of estimation for parameters in simulation experiments. We utilize standardized concomitant variables defined during the course of simulation runs. We first use these concomitant variables to counteract the unknown error of response by the method of control variates, then use a concomitant variable not used in the controlled response and stratify the response into appropriate strata to reduce the variation of controlled response additionally. In case that the covariance between the response and a set of control variates is known, we identify the simulation efficiency of suggested method using control variates and stratified sampling. We conjecture the simulation efficiency of this method is better than that achieved by separated application of either control variates or stratified sampling in a simulation experiments. We investigate such an efficiency gain through simulation on a selected model.

Comparing the Effectiveness of Punishment Severity and Policy Means on Traffic Laws Violating Drivers (위법운전자에 대한 제재 수준과 정책수단 선택의 교통안전효과 비교)

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the differences between the severity of punishments for traffic laws related offenders and the choice of policy measures with a view to reducing traffic accidents. To this end, government data on the drivers given a sentence of license suspension or revocation were collected and analyzed in terms of sex, age, type of driver's license, driving career, number of traffic laws violations, and number of traffic accidents generated. The statistics of analysis of covariance and tests of significance were used and conducted to compare the effectiveness of punishment for the penalty and the incentive groups. The results showed that the incentive policy measure on the drivers who violate traffic regulations repeatedly is more effective to reduce the number of traffic offenders and traffic accidents.

Trimmed LAD Estimators for Multidimensional Contingency Tables (분할표 분석을 위한 절사 LAD 추정량과 최적 절사율 결정)

  • This study proposes a trimmed LAD(least absolute deviation) estimators for multi-dimensional contingency tables and suggests an algorithm to estimate it. In addition, a method to determine the trimming quantity of the estimators is suggested. A Monte Carlo study shows that the propose method yields a better trimming rate and coverage rate than the previously suggest method based on the determinant of the covariance matrix.

  • 정보통신 인프라의 확대 및 인터넷 사용자 수의 급속한 증가에 따라 중국 인터넷 쇼핑몰 시장은 방대한 잠재수요를 가진 새로운 시장으로 급부상하고 있다. 본 연구의 주목적은 중국 인터넷 쇼핑몰 이용자들을 대상으로 한 실증분석을 통해 인터넷 쇼핑몰 이용자의 재구매의도에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 중요한 특성요인을 도출해 보고자 하였다. 연구목적의 효과적인 달성을 위한 이론적 토대로서 정보시스템성공모델 관련 선행연구에 대한 종합적 고찰 결과를 토대로 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 정보품질, 시스템품질, 서비스품질, 고객만족, 재구매의도 등의 여섯 가지 요인을 포함한 연구모델을 구축하였고, 이들 변수들간의 상호 영향관계에 관한 가설을 수립하였다. 중국 인터넷 쇼핑몰 이용자 204명을 대상으로 한 설문조사 결과를 이용하여 공분산구조모델 분석을 통한 연구가설 검정을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 실증분석 결과를 요약해 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중국 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 정보품질과 서비스품질이 고객만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 반면 시스템품질은 별다른 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 인터넷 쇼핑몰 고객의 만족은 재구매의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이상의 가설검정 결과를 토대로 본 연구에서는 연구의 시사점과 한계점 및 향후 연구방향에 관하여 논하였다.

Structural Equation Model for Bus Service Evaluation (버스의 서비스평가 구조모형에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 2개의 사례지구에 대한 설문조사를 통해 서비스평가 구조모형을 개발하였다. 모형의 가설로서 요인분석과 신뢰성 분석 등을 통해 구성된 '질적서비스에 대한 인식', '이동성에 대한 인식 '환승에 대한 인식', '경제성에 대한 인식'이란 인지서비스(Perceived service)를 나타내는 4개의 잠재변수는 '개인속성'과 '교통특성'이란 잠재변수의 영향을 받으며, 상호 구조적인 관계를 가지고 전반적인 만족도로 대표되는 '서비스평가'에 영향을 미친다고 가정한다. 모형추정결과, 기초적합지수(GFI)가 상인·월성 0.864, 지산·범물 0.807로 나타났고, 조정 적합지수 (AGFI)는 상인·월성 0.823. 지산·범물 0.759로 나타나 적합성은 대체로 양호하다고 할 수 있다. 또한 두 지역 모두에 있어서 잠재변수 간이나 잠재변수와 관측변수간의 인과계수의 유의성도 2, 3개의 인과계수를 제외하면 모두 5% 유의수준에서 유의한 것으로 나타나 전체적으로 모형이 타당하다고 판단된다. 상인·월성의 경우, 운전기사에 대한 인식치가 '서비스평가'에 미치는 영향력이 가장 크며, 요금수준과 더불어 직접적으로 '서비스평가'에 영향을 미치고 있다 기타 편리성, 쾌적성, 시설 및 운영성이 중요한 원인으로 작용하고 있다는 것을 시사하고 있다. 지산·범물의 경우, 쾌적성, 시설 및 운영성, 편리성이 '서비스평가'에 직접적으로 큰 영향력을 미치고 있다. 특히 이러한 '질적서비스에 대한 인식'은 버스의 현행 요금수준과 대기시간에, 그리고 유의성이 높다고 할 수 없지만 이용자의 연령과 버스이용빈도에 영향을 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
