A Study on Cloud Service Quality by Using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA 기법을 적용한 클라우드 서비스 품질 분석)

  • This study sheds light on the quality aspect of cloud computing services as next IT platform. Three tasks of the research are to extract the quality factors of cloud service from the user's viewpoint, empirically analyze the perceptual differences between the user group and the provider group by applying the IPA technique, and suggest some quality factors that need to be improved. Based on the previous researches and focus group evaluation, 13 quality factors have been established. Two field surveys have been performed respectively to collect the perceptual importance and satisfaction level of the users and the providers. It is shown that the quality satisfaction of the user group is lower than the quality perceived by the providers. And there exist significant differences between two groups in respect to quality importance level and IPA matrix. In conclusion, 6 quality factors that need to be improved are suggested such as service functionality, service availability, interoperability, scalability, confidentiality, and provider's responsiveness.

  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is a strategic partnership activity for an enterprise and is expected to be a significant performance element in the current enterprise environment where uncertainty is growing. Despite the effective SRM allows companies to manage quality and inventory throughout their logistics procurement process with their suppliers and increase the profitability of the company, there is a scarce of theory about supplier relationship management (SRM) and many companies are not aware of the importance of SRM and depend only on simple electronic purchasing methods. Therefore, I analyze the H Company as a case company, which is a large domestic company and has reached 2,500 domestic and overseas suppliers. SRM process and its effects are evaluated as (1) Purchasing strategy division 2) Process division (3) IT infrastructure division. By analyzing SRM as one of the management strategies that bring the overall value of enterprise performance up, and by looking at how domestic large corporations manage their suppliers, I hope that manufacturers with many suppliers will recognize the importance of SRM and build an SRM tailored to their business.

  • 인터넷시대 가상 공간에서는 새로운 흐름들이 속속 등장하고 있다. 그 중에서 대표적인 것은 아마도 인터넷을 통한 상거래일 것이다. 이러한 사이버 상거래에 있어서 가장 중요한 것은 지불수단 즉 과금방식이다. 사이버 상거래가 완벽하게 정착되려면 공급자와 수요자간에 있어서 신뢰성의 중요성은 말할 나위가 없다. 공급자는 공급하는 제품의 품질과 고객이 정보보호를 수요자는 그러한 신뢰의 바탕위에서 사이버 거래를 발전시킬 것이다. 이러한 거래에 있어서 등장한 것이 바로 전자결제 수단이며 다양한 형태로 발전되어가고 있다. 아직도 해결과제가 많이 남아있지만 현재 진행되고 있는 전자지불 수단의 다양한 형태를 짚어봄으로써 가능성을 열어보고자 한다.

A Study on the Effects of Strategic Item Attributes on Strategic Partnership in Supplier Dominant Relationship-Focused on Shipbuilding Industry (구매자 열위, 공급자 우위 시장에서 전략품목의 속성이 전략적 동반자관계에 미치는 영향 - 조선업을 중심으로)

  • Unlike the general buyer-supplier relationship, there are cases wherein the bargaining power of suppliers is greater than that of buyers. This relationship can be found especially in the shipbuilding industry. Thus, this paper focused on strategic items presented in Kraljic's study. The purpose of this study was to examine factors influencing buyers' purchase of strategic items in a market wherein the bargaining power of suppliers is superior. Results show that the path coefficient between environment factor and satisfaction factor was the highest. Additionally, the path coefficient between environment factor and reliability factor was the next highest. Also, as a result of analyzing if there is a difference in perception according to the superiority and inferiority of bargaining power perceived by buyers, significant results were found in some path coefficients.

Comparative Study on Perception Difference about Importance of Quality factors in Logistics Service in Supply Chain Partnership (공급사슬 파트너십에서 물류서비스 품질 요소의 중요도 지각 차이 비교)

  • Today, researches on logistics service quality or supply chain management are highlighted due to intensification of competition and diversification of needs for customer service. This study have done a comparative analysis on supply chain partnership members' perception difference about importance of logistics service quality factors. It measured perception about logistics service quality which suppliers, carriers, and buyers regard as important and then conducted t-test in order to compare perception difference. It was found that quality factors of logistic service which suppliers, carriers, and buyers in supply chain partnership perceive as important were different. And disagreements among members were found in most items when market orientation and long term orientation was low while there was no difference among most members when market orientation and long term orientation was high.

  • The estimation of maintenance cost of information system so far has been conducted centered on the ordering body, so the problem of provider's having to cover the cost due to small cost compared to the amount of work is not solved. This study is a base study for estimating the maintenance cost of information system centered on provider, and it deduces cost items of maintenance and suggests adjustment factors for adjusting the gap between the ordering body and provider regarding the maintenance cost. In order to deduce the cost items of maintenance, this study adds the activities of the provider for maintenance to the base study of cost factors regarding the existing maintenance activity, divides, and classifies them into the fixed cost and variable cost. In order to adjust the gap between the ordering body and provider regarding the maintenance cost, this study found the adjustment factors such as the code, utility, and components created by the automatic tool that was not included when estimating the maintenance cost centered on the ordering body. After examining and analyzing K Company's data of maintenance performance for three years, it confirmed that the gap regarding the adjustment factors was about 13% in case of K Company.

A Study on the Performance Evaluation of Effectiveness and Satisfaction of Veteran Medical Service Delivery System : Focused on the Perspective of Provider and Beneficiary (보훈의료서비스 전달체계의 효과성과 만족도에 관한 성과평가 연구 : 공급자 측면과 수요자 측면을 중심으로)

  • This study examines determining factors of effectiveness and satisfaction of Veteran Medical Service Delivery System. Especially, the association between the relevant variables of the effectiveness of the Veteran Medical Service Delivery System and the variables of the satisfaction from the perspective of beneficiaries was studied. Multi-level analysis was utilized to separate results of the evaluation of effectiveness in organizational-level and the evaluation of satisfaction in individual-level. This study tests key posited hypothesis by using survey data collected from 5 medical center of country(Seoul, Busan, Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju). In terms of the result of the hypothesis testing on the effectiveness variable, integrity(${\beta}=.156$), accountability(${\beta}=.376$, financial sufficiency(${\beta}=.109$), and adequacy (${\beta}=.367$) are the determinants among various factors in evaluating veteran medical service delivery system, statistically reflecting the perception of directors of the veteran medical service delivery facilities on effectiveness. In other word, professionalism variable(${\beta}=0.99$) and effectiveness variable(${\beta}=-1.09$) are statistically reflecting the perception of directors of the beneficiaries satisfaction with employee. The findings suggests that the theoretical and practical implications will improve Effectiveness and Satisfaction of Veteran Medical Service Delivery System.

  • 본 연구는 공급자(supplier), 중간분배자(retailer/distributor) 그리고 고객(customer)으로 구성된 2 단계 공급사슬을 대상으로 공급자가 수요 증대를 목적으로 중간분배자에게 일정기간 동안 제품대금에 대한 지불 연기를 허용한다는 가정 하에 중간분배자의 최적 재고정책 결정을 위한 재고 모형을 다루었다. 소비성 상품의 경우, 고객의 수요는 일반적으로 상품 진열대에 진열되어있는 상품의 재고량에 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 상황을 고려하여 고객의 수요가 중간분배자의 재고량에 영향을 받는다는 가정 하에 재고 모형을 설계하였고, 모형 분석을 통하여 이익을 최대화하는 경제적 주문량 결정 방법을 제시하였다. 또한 예제를 통하여 제시된 해법을 적용하고, 그 타당성을 보였다.
