Since central governments began to establish and use the Standard Records Management System(RMS) in 2007, more and more local governments and other public organizations have constructed RMS. RMS is the essential tool for records management in electronic environments, but it is not known how well the functions of RMS reflect standards and practice related records management or how many records managers use RMS in performing their works. This paper deals with analyzing the evaluation of 'classification & disposal schedule management' function in RMS. 'Classification & disposal schedule management' function has 4 subfunctions of review of classification & preservation period, management of the schedule items, assignment of classification scheme and reclassification. Classification and disposal schedule is at the heart of intellectual control of records and core area of records management. So it is important to analyze whether this function plays well a role in RMS or not. This research carried out evaluation of function and use about classification & disposal schedule management in RMS. Functional evaluation is to compare and analyze how well RMS meets the functional requirements which home and foreign standards give. Use evaluation is to investigate how records managers use RMS in accomplishing their task of managing classification & disposal schedule and to look into what is the problem with the use. This paper could get the implications through the survey of records managers who are working at central governments, regional local governments and basic local governments. And these implications are considered in institutional, functional, use and administrative aspect. It is important to communicate with stakeholders so that 'classification & disposal schedule management' function, further, all functions of the RMS in practice of records management could be used smoothly. Users of RMS have to raise demands or call for technical solutions of the problems which come up in use, while RMS developers and administrators must make more of an effort to satisfy their demands, reflect them on the RMS and enhance the system.
The decline in the price of IT devices and the development of the Internet have created a new field called Internet of Things (IoT). IoT, which creates new services by connecting all the objects that are in everyday life to the Internet, is pioneering new forms of business that have not been seen before in combination with Big Data. The prospect of IoT can be said to be unlimited in its utilization. In addition, studies of standardization organizations for smooth connection of these IoT devices are also active. However, there is a part of this study that we overlook. In order to control IoT equipment or acquire information, it is necessary to separately develop interworking issues (IP address, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc.) and related application software or apps. In order to solve these problems, existing research methods have been conducted on augmented reality using GPS or markers. However, there is a disadvantage in that a separate marker is required and the marker is recognized only in the vicinity. In addition, in the case of a study using a GPS address using a 2D-based camera, it was difficult to implement an active interface because the distance to the target device could not be recognized. In this study, we use 3D Depth recognition camera to be installed on smartphone and calculate the space coordinates automatically by linking the distance measurement and the sensor information of the mobile phone without a separate marker. Coordination inquiry finds equipment of IoT and enables information acquisition and control of corresponding IoT equipment. Therefore, from the user's point of view, it is possible to reduce the burden on the problem of interworking of the IoT equipment and the installation of the app. Furthermore, if this technology is used in the field of public services and smart glasses, it will reduce duplication of investment in software development and increase in public services.
This study is to present a improvement directions for the protection of industrial key technology. For the purpose of the study, the survey was carried out on the administrative security activity of 68 enterprises including Large companies, small-midium companies and public corporations. survey result on the 10 items of security policy, 10 items of personal management and 7 items of the assets management are as follows; First, stable foundation for the efficient implement of security policy is needed. Carrying a security policy into practice and continuous upgrade should be fulfilled with drawing-up of the policy. Also for the vitalization of security activity, arrangement of security organization and security manager are needed with mutual assistance in the company. Periodic security inspection should be practiced for the improvement of security level and security understanding. Second, the increase of investment for security job is needed for security invigoration. Securing cooperation channel with professional security facility such as National Intelligence Service, Korea internet & security agency, Information security consulting company, security research institute is needed, also security outsourcing could be considered as the method of above investment. Especially small-midium company is very vulnerable compared with Large company and public corporation in security management, so increase of government's budget for security support system is necessary. Third, human resource management is important, because the main cause of leak of confidential information is person. Regular education rate for new employee and staff members is relatively high, but the vitalization of security oath for staff members and the third party who access to key technology is necessary. Also access right to key information should be changed whenever access right changes. Reinforcement of management of resigned person such as security oath, the elimination of access right to key information and the deletion of account. is needed. Forth, the control and management of important asset including patent and design should be tightened. Classification of importance of asset and periodic inspection are necessary with the effects evaluation of leak of asset.

People are tending to buy products through the Internet rather than purchasing them from the store. Some of the consumers give their feedback on line such as reviews, replies, comments, and blogs after they purchased the products. People are also likely to get some information through the Internet. Therefore, companies and public institutes have been facing this situation where they need to collect and analyze reviews or public opinions for them because many consumers are interested in other's opinions when they are about to make a purchase. However, most of the people's reviews on web site are too numerous, short and redundant. Under these circumstances, the emotion scanning system of text documents on the web is rising to the surface. Extracting writer's opinions or subjective ideas from text exists labeled words like GI(General Inquirer) and LKB(Lexical Knowledge base of near synonym difference) in English, however Korean language is not provided yet. In this paper, we labeled positive, negative, and neutral attribute at 4 POS(part of speech) which are noun, adjective, verb, and adverb in Korean dictionary. We extract construction patterns of emotional words and relationships among words in sentences from a large training set, and learned them. Based on this knowledge, comments and reviews regarding products are classified into two classes polarities with positive and negative using SO-PMI, which found the optimal condition from a combination of 4 POS. Lastly, in the design of the system, a flexible user interface is designed to add or edit the emotional words, the construction patterns related to emotions, and relationships among the words.

Due to the increase in the number of transfer lines and ground level connections with mixed-use high-rise buildings, the Seoul Metro suffers from loaded signage fatigue because of the presence of too many signs. The purpose of this research is to propose ways of improving the wayfinding on the Seoul subway station by examining the signage and (applying the) universal design (UD) concept. A review of the literature explored five universal design components, viz. the accessibility, safety, equitability, perception, and aesthetics. The field investigation found that the ceiling and wall type and general information boards were high on the information hierarchy. The survey respondents merely perceived universal design concept, however, most needed principle. The IPA found that the signs should be appropriately laid out, spaced and located from the perspective of accessibility, and their unity and harmony were other aspects that could be improved while general information boards should include important landmarks outside. In conclusion, this study suggests that the universal design signage concept should be applied to every station and that specific stations should have a duly sign system.

Business organization can use archive management to improve job efficiency and customer service and to facilitate legal matters, marketing, advertising, property management, personnel management and publicity. Additionally, They can secure corporate identity and social reliability as well as transparency in management. This is turn helps secure corporate competitiveness to play as a medium for creating new profit, which will enhance corporate brands. The records and Archives management, which recently kicks off among business organization, are to collect scattered archives and seek systemic management through archives management systems. This study present ways to collect archives scattered before archives management systems were adopted according to archives management. As a prior investigation, the scope and characteristics of business archives are defined. Visit to business organization to collect data and interview with officials responsible were carried out as a preliminary investigation to conduce acquisition policy. Based on the results of the investigation, acquisition policy of Meritz was conducted. into internal and external collection activities, event collection activities. Value appraisal and display appraisal of archives were established as a appraisal policy for efficient management and utilization of collected business archives. This study takes the case of Metitz Fire & Marine Insurance Co, Ltd (Meritz) as a example to present ways to manage business archives specifically.

The number of deaths in Korea is higher than the OECD average. Therefore, an e-Call system is being developed as a vehicle ICT-based emergency rescue system that automatically detects an accident in the event of a vehicle accident and transmits related information to the center. In order to overcome the limitations of social acceptability and function of e-Call system, we propose a model that allows users to be aware of the necessity of service voluntarily. We predicted the market share of e-call services according to the proposed business model and analyzed it through B/C analysis. Benefits are calculated on a penetration basis, and device purchase and communications costs are calculated for each period. B/C analysis shows that pessimistic scenarios are 0.98 in 2025 and 1.01 in 2030. In an optimistic scenario, it is 1.05 in 2025 and 1.20 in 2030, which is more economical.

Tomato is a widely distributed, cultivated, and commercialized vegetable crop. Recently, an increasing trend has been observed in the consumption of transgenic crops with enhanced functional components. However, consumer concerns regarding genotoxicity have been increasing. This study examined the genotoxicity of transgenic tomato (LTT) using the CRISPR/Cas9 system through a bacterial reverse mutation assay, chromosomal aberration assay, and mammalian micronucleus test. In the bacterial reverse mutation assay, LTT did not induce mutagenicity in Salmonella typhimurium strains TA98, TA100, TA1535, and TA1537, or Escherichia coli WP2uvrA, irrespective of the presence or absence of S9. LTT did not cause clastogenic or aneugenic chromosomal abnormalities during metaphase in CHL cells. Moreover, LTT did not increase the frequency of micronucleated polychromatic erythrocytes in the polychromatic erythrocytes. These findings can be used as a foundation to assess the genotoxicity of transgenic crops using the CRISPR/Cas9 system in the future.

With the rapid acceleration of low-birth rate and population aging, the employment of the neglected groups of people including the middle aged class is a crucial issue in South Korea. In particular, in the 2010s, the number of the middle aged who want to find a new job after retirement age is significantly increasing with the arrival of the retirement time of the baby boom generation (born 1955-1963). Despite the importance of matching jobs to this emerging middle aged class, private job portals as well as the Korean government do not provide any online job service tailored for them. A gigantic amount of job information is available online; however, the current recruiting systems do not meet the demand of the middle aged class as their primary targets are young workers. We are in dire need of a specially designed recruiting system for the middle aged. Meanwhile, when users are searching the desired occupations on the Worknet website, provided by the Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor, users are experiencing discomfort to search for similar jobs because Worknet is providing filtered search results on the basis of exact matches of a preferred job code. Besides, according to our Worknet data analysis, only about 24% of job seekers had landed on a job position consistent with their initial preferred job code while the rest had landed on a position different from their initial preference. To improve the situation, particularly for the middle aged class, we investigate a soft job matching technique by performing the following: 1) we review a user behavior logs of Worknet, which is a public job recruiting system set up by the Korean government and point out key system design implications for the middle aged. Specifically, we analyze the job postings that include preferential tags for the middle aged in order to disclose what types of jobs are in favor of the middle aged; 2) we develope a new occupation classification scheme for the middle aged, Korea Occupation Classification for the Middle-aged (KOCM), based on the similarity between jobs by reorganizing and modifying a general occupation classification scheme. When viewed from the perspective of job placement, an occupation classification scheme is a way to connect the enterprises and job seekers and a basic mechanism for job placement. The key features of KOCM include establishing the Simple Labor category, which is the most requested category by enterprises; and 3) we design MOMA (Middle-aged Occupation Matching Algorithm), which is a hybrid job matching algorithm comprising constraint-based reasoning and case-based reasoning. MOMA incorporates KOCM to expand query to search similar jobs in the database. MOMA utilizes cosine similarity between user requirement and job posting to rank a set of postings in terms of preferred job code, salary, distance, and job type. The developed system using MOMA demonstrates about 20 times of improvement over the hard matching performance. In implementing the algorithm for a web-based application of recruiting system for the middle aged, we also considered the usability issue of making the system easier to use, which is especially important for this particular class of users. That is, we wanted to improve the usability of the system during the job search process for the middle aged users by asking to enter only a few simple and core pieces of information such as preferred job (job code), salary, and (allowable) distance to the working place, enabling the middle aged to find a job suitable to their needs efficiently. The Web site implemented with MOMA should be able to contribute to improving job search of the middle aged class. We also expect the overall approach to be applicable to other groups of people for the improvement of job matching results.
After introducing the industry 4.0 policy, Korean government announced 'Digital New Deal' and 'Green New Deal' as 'Korean New Deal' in 2020. We analyzed Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM)'s research projects related to that policy and conducted markets analysis focused on Digital Twin and environmental monitoring technologies. Regarding 'Data Dam' policy, we suggested the digital geo-contents with Augmented Reality (AR) & Virtual Reality (VR) and the public geo-data collection & sharing system. It is necessary to expand and support the smart mining and digital oil fields research for '5th generation mobile communication (5G) and artificial intelligence (AI) convergence into all industries' policy. Korean government is suggesting downtown 3D maps for 'Digital Twin' policy. KIGAM can provide 3D geological maps and Internet of Things (IoT) systems for social overhead capital (SOC) management. 'Green New Deal' proposed developing technologies for green industries including resource circulation, Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS), and electric & hydrogen vehicles. KIGAM has carried out related research projects and currently conducts research on domestic energy storage minerals. Oil and gas industries are presented as representative applications of digital twin. Many progress is made in mining automation and digital mapping and Digital Twin Earth (DTE) is a emerging research subject. The emerging research subjects are deeply related to data analysis, simulation, AI, and the IoT, therefore KIGAM should collaborate with sensors and computing software & system companies.
