This study examined the arrangement features in public library infant and children's reading room and provide basic material in after children's reading room space planning by studying the space features, which are valued in the environment behavioral point of view. We limited the check list to libraries built after year 2000 that are located around Seoul and from 5 libraries with children reading rooms. After analyzing items by the space features, considering children's environment behavior, pleasantness was most favorable, children scale, safety, comfortableness, flexibility followed in order. It shows the basic surroundings and the furniture that composes the children's reading room are relatively favorable, but in the other hand, it seems that reading rooms lack the ability to form an environment that can adapt to children's growth, inducting new activity areas flexibly or rearrange them. there are limitations to getting the children's needs objectively and significantly, so survey research, interview research and not only studying Korean's but comparing and analyzing with foreign country's cases will be needed.

This study examined the programs of public library and the spaces for them in Seoul and Gyunggi area. The examination was performed by making field surveys on 12 sample public libraries and posing user questionnaires on 4 libraries out of the sample. The data from the questionnaire survey were processed and analyzed with SPSS 14.0. The results are as follows: First, according to the arrangement of the furniture, the space usages for the programs in public libraries are divided into four classes, one-way exposure: free of furniture: two-way exposure. The one-way exposure has been the most common though the furniture arrangement varies with the characteristics of a program. Second, language or information technology related programs are the most frequently attended programs in public libraries. Lastly, the space usage for the reading education programs has had the highest level of the user satisfaction measurement while the user satisfaction is lower in those for general culture programs and health care programs.

The remodeling of apartment that improves the improves the life level is going to be in the market because of lots of old apartment buildings. Until now, the research of remodeling is mainly restricted to the laws and financial funding, however, the needs in the trend of remodeling. This research, first, through the examples of remodeling in the country, this study draws remodeling factors that can be applied. Secondly, this study targets the study of remodeling to apartments and analyzes the type of housings made by the Korea National Housing Corporation. Thirdly the study analyzes the features that appear in housing units and draws out factors of remodeling This research's result Is arranged as follows. \circled1Need Remodeling thorough study of space expanded, grant between artificer and active performance improvement direction such as building equipment expansion along with Remodeling concept of unit repair. \circled2When apartments are newly built, systematic construction is necessary that considers future efficiency improvement from the design stage. \circled3This study, which applied the characteristic factors appearing after the 1990s to remodeling factors, show that they can be applied when remodeling the worn out wall-slab type apartments.

The purpose of this study is to comparatively analyze the designs selected in the competition and those executed actually for the public libraries and thereupon, check if competition winner architects' original intentions were maintained or not, and thereby, review the details of changed designs and their causes, and thus, provide some basic data useful to architectural planning and design of future public libraries. For this purpose, researcher sampled 5 public libraries designed and constructed through competition in Seoul and Gyeong-In area since 2000, and thereupon, comparatively analyzed the selected designs and executed ones to review the details and causes of changed designs and determine the characteristics of the spatial planning for the public libraries.

전북지역의 광역 대표도서관 건립계획의 일환으로 수행된 본 연구에서는 그 건립의 필요성과 도서관 3대 요소인 시설, 자료, 인력에 대한 기준과 근거를 제시하고 이에 따른 도 대표도서관의 모델을 제시하였다. 이를 위한 연구의 진행은 기존의 광역 대표도서관 사례를 분석하고, 관련 기준의 검토와 전북도의 환경적 현황을 분석한 결과를 토대로 하였으며, 대표도서관의 모델은 위치, 시설 및 업무조직을 중심으로 제시하였다.

본 연구는 충북도립대표도서관의 건립 기본계획을 위한 사전연구로 충청북도 내의 공공도서관 이용자를 대상으로 도서관 이용과 서비스에 대한 인식조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 설문 대상자들은 충북도립대표도서관의 역할 중 지역 도서관 발전 및 도서관 서비스 강화를 위한 정책 수립 및 시행이 가장 중요하다고 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 장서 운영 방향으로 선호하는 정보원 유형은 인쇄자료이며, 주제 측면에서는 문학 분야를 가장 높게 선호하는 것으로 나타났으며, 다양한 분야의 도서와 지식정보 제공을 희망하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다.

지난 8월 17일부터 23일까지 몽골건축사협회 주최로 몽골 울란바토르에서 개최된 제30차 ARCASIA 이사회 및 제15차 포럼에 앞서 15일과 16일, 양일간 2009-2010 아카시아 건축상 심사가 이루어졌다. 전체 12개 부문에 대해 우리 협회는 8개 부문, 총 11개 작품을 제출하였으며 4개 부문에서 골드메달을 수상하는 영예를 안았다. 다세대주택부문(A-2:Multiple Family Residential Complexes)에서 최삼영(주. 가와 종합건축사사무소)회원의 '용인동백 아펠바움'이, 공공시설부문(B-4, Public Amenity: Industrial Buildings)에서는 최동호(건축사사무소 마당소리)회원의 '주엽어린이도서관'이, 복합용도시설부문(B-6:Mixed Use Developments)에서는 윤세한(주. 해안 종합건축사사무소)회원의 '용산 I PARK MALL'이, 산업시설부문(C:Industrial Buildings)에서는 신춘규(씨지에스 건축사사무소)회원의 '아임삭 오창 공장'이 골드메달을 수상했다. 다음은 심사에 참여한 이근창 국제위원회 전문위원의 심사평이다.

"사실 국가건축정책위원장 책임을 떠안는 것에 고민을 많이 했습니다. 작금 건축의 본질에 관해 꽤 진지하게 논하는 결정권자들이 많아진 상황에서 직을 맡은 이상 그냥 시간만 보내진 않을 겁니다. 평소 생각한 건축계의 부족한, 불합리한, 불비한 부분을 임기 중 완전히 고치진 못한다 하더라도 시작은 해놓고 끝내려 합니다." 작년 4월 취임한 승효상 대통령소속 국가건축정책위원장이 국내 건축계 현안에 대한 생각과 앞으로의 계획을 설명했다. 그가 걸어온 삶의 궤적에는 건축의 공공성 문화적 가치라는 단어들이 새겨져 있으며, 이는 그가 활동해 온 건축계 여러 운동 모임에서도 살펴볼 수 있다. 지식인으로서 마땅히 지녀야 할 건축사(Architect)의 책무에 관해서는 쓴소리도 서슴지 않았던 그다. 2014년 서울시 '초대 총괄건축가'로 선임돼 서울시의 도시정책과 건축문화, 공공 공간조성 등 도시계획 전반에 대해 역할을 했다면, 이젠 국가 건축정책의 목표와 관계 부처간 건축정책의 심의.조정까지 그 역할범위가 커졌다. 필드의 건축사라면 승효상 국가건축정책위원장에게 기대하는 바가 큰 게 사실이다. 실제 그의 취임 후 정부 내 국건위의 위상은 과거와 달라졌으며, 작년 9월 4일에는 문재인 대통령이 서울 은평구 구산동 도서관마을에서 열린 '대한민국 국민생활 SOC현장 방문, 동네 건축현장을 가다' 행사에 참석해 도서관, 체육관, 경로당 등 '생활 SOC 혁신의지'를 강조해 눈길을 끌었다. 최근 정부세종신청사 설계공모 관련 논란에는 "국토부에 소관 설계공모 규정을 고쳐야 함을 권고했다. 고칠 거다! 안 고치면 안 되게 돼 있다!"며 목소리에 힘을 주어 재차 강조했다. 제5기 대통령소속 국가건축정책위원장으로 선임돼 지난해 4월부터 역할을 해온 승효상 건축사를 종로구 동숭동 (주)종합건축사사무소 이로재(履露齋)에서 만났다.

본 연구는 시설 프로그램, 면적 구성비, 공간 구획, 순환 시스템 등 공간 구성의 분석을 통해 고문헌 전문도서관의 건축 계획 및 설계에 대한 기초적인 자료를 제공하는데 목적을 두며, 이러한 과정을 통하여 도출된 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 각 사례의 공간구성은 크게 자료영역, 이용자영역, 사무/유지관리영역, 서비스/공공부분으로 구분되며, 각 영역은 세부영역으로 구분된다. 둘째, 자료영역은 다른 영역보다 큰 면적을 차지한다(39~56%). 셋째, 서고의 위치, 보존처리영역의 위치, 하역장의 설치 유무에 따라 다른 특성을 보인다. 넷째, 각 사례의 공간구성체계를 분석하면 각 사례별 공간구성은 자료의 이동경로와 관계가 있다.

본 연구는 국내에 경제·금융전문도서관을 대표하는 한국은행 도서관의 전반적인 운영현황 분석과 이용자 만족도 및 수요를 조사하고, 더불어 국내외 주요 도서관의 외부환경 변화에 따른 대응사례 조사하여 향후 경제·금융전문도서관의 발전 방향을 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내외 주요 도서관 외부환경 변화 사례조사, 이용자 설문조사 등을 진행하였다. 그 결과, 향후 과제로 미래지향적 최첨단 도서관으로의 강화에는 스마트 시스템 도입, 일부 도서관 서비스의 로봇화, 시대상을 반영한 비대면 서비스 대응공간 등을, 경제금융인을 위한 특화된 서비스 제공에는 빅데이터 분석서비스 도입, 이용자 맞춤형 시스템 강화, SNS 커뮤니케이션 활성화 등을 제시하였다. 국내외 경제·금융 도서관과 협력 네트워크 구축으로는 클라우드 서비스, 유관기관 간 협력사업 유지 및 확대, 공유체계를 통한 국가 지식정보 망라적 수집 등을, 마지막으로 전문성 강화를 위한 정보서비스를 위해 특성화 장서 개발, 온라인을 활용한 참고 및 연구지원 서비스 확대, 발간물 원문 DB 구축 및 제공을 제안하였다.
