This study examines the necessity of establishment of Institutional Household Manager(IHM) system and the development of the curricula for IHM. It suggests that the establishment of IHM system meets the needs of the times. And it also shows that two kinds of curricula model for IHM can be developed : the one is specialized curricula model and the other is integrated curricula model. The specialized model emphasizes the specialization of institutional household management and is consisted of the acquisition of 4 required and 3 optional subjects and field practices. The integrated model makes a point of integration of other majors and is composed of the acquisition of 2 required and 5 optional subjects and field practices.

This study was an attempt to examine the basic scheme required for the job analysis of healthy family-center workers in the context of human resource management. For this purpose, factors including frequency, importance, priority, and difficulty were examined. The job classification and concrete job activities were extracted from the interviews of eight healthy family-center workers, and these factors were then analyzed from the recordings. From the results of this study, 28 job tasks were collected and the four job types were classified. The results can be used for job analysis and human resource development (HRD). This study suggests that various methods should be used for job analysis and that a large number of samples should be utilized for the further studies.

This study examines the role of Institutional Household Manager and the certification of their qualification. It shows that there are two aspects of the role of Institutional Household Manager: the one is the suportive activity to satisfy the user’s need and desire; the other is the managerial activity of Institutional Household. And it also sggests who might be the subjects of the certification, how many credits and what kinds of curricula are required, and what is asked for the establishment of Institutional Household Manager system.

This study was designed to identify the concept of institutional households in the context of its human-needs-satisfying function. The specific objectives of this study were to refine the research boundary of institutional households and to develop the management principals which is appropriate to the characteristics and orientations of institutional households. This study concludes as follows : 1. it is important to find various types and forms of institutional households for the more advanced study. 2. the professionals in family resource management area should have the future-oriented-perspectives in improving the concept of institutional households.

Melvil Dewey는 도서관운동가, 사상가, 교육자 그리고 선각자 등 다양한 측면에서 평가받고 있다. 그러나 교육가로서 그의 생애는 도서관계에서는 관심 밖의 영역으로 남아있다. Dewey의 도서관 사상의 근원은 학교교육과 가정교육의 두 가지 측면으로 구분해서 볼 수 있다. 이러한 측면에서, Dewey는 도서관이 교육분야에서 수행해야 하는 기능과 역할 등의 방향을 설정하는데 큰 역할을 담당하였다. 하지만, Dewey의 이러한 교육관에 대해서는 국내 연구에서는 조명되지 않고 있다. 이러한 측면에서, 본 연구는 공공도서관에서의 생애교육을 Dewey의 교육사상을 중심으로 고찰해 보고자 한다.

본 연구는 도서관의 다문화서비스 현황과 문제점을 파악하기 위하여 외국도서관과 우리나라의 다문화서비스 현황을 조사하였다. 외국도서관의 다문화서비스 현황은 다문화주의 모델, 동화주의 모델, 배제주의 모델로 구분하여 다문화 가정 대상 교육프로그램과 도서관 서비스 사례를 분석하였다. 우리나라 도서관의 다문화서비스 현황은 공공도서관의 다문화 프로그램 담당 사서, 다문화프로그램 강사, 다문화 프로그램에 참여한 이주민들과 어린이들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 이를 통해 다문화 가정 프로그램의 문제점 및 요구사항을 분석하였다.

본 연구는 공공도서관에서 어린이를 대상으로 진행하는 독서프로그램의 성과를 측정하기 위한 프레임워크 개발을 목적으로 한다. 프레임워크 개발을 위한 이론적 토대로 성과 평가에 기반 한 로직모델을 적용하였다. 로직모델의 요소로 제안된 6개 요소 중에서 가정과 외부적 요인을 제외한 투입, 활동, 산출, 성과 요인을 중심으로 프로그램 평가 프레임워크를 개발하였다. 연구결과로, 서울 시내 한 공공도서관에서 연구기간 동안 진행된 4개의 프로그램에 대한 평가 프레임워크와 성과측정을 위한 지표를 제안하였다. 프로그램별로 다양한 성과지표의 개발이 가능하지만 본 연구에서는 도서관 데이터를 기반으로 측정 가능한 지표를 중심으로 제안하였다. 본 연구 결과가 사례 연구로 진행되었지만 대상 프로그램이 공공도서관에서 일반적으로 진행하는 프로그램이라는 점에서 타 도서관의 어린이 대상 프로그램의 평가 프레임워크로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

21세기 사회는 이민율의 증가 등으로 점점 빠르게 세계화가 진행되고 있으며 우리나라는 이미 2007년에 외국인 100만 명을 넘어 다문화 국가로 진입하고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 사회적 환경의 변화에 따라 공공도서관에서 다문화인들을 위한 서비스의 제공이 필요하게 된 것이다. 이에 공공도서관의 다문화서비스를 위한 프로그램 개발을 위하여 사서와 다문화인 도서관이용자가 가지고 있는 인식이 어떤 것인가를 살펴볼 필요가 있다고 보았다. 두 그룹간의 인식을 비교하고 그에 따라 적정한 모델을 구현하는 것이 효율적인 정보제공을 할 수 있을 것이라고 가정하였다. 설문지 분석결과를 보면 두 그룹 간에는 인식의 차이가 있었으며 그러한 차이를 좁혀가는 것이 다문화인들이 공공도서 관을 이용하는데 도움이 될 것이며 그들의 한국사회 적응에도 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 이 결과를 토대로 다문화서비스 모형을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affected on the leisure participation, leisure satisfaction and leisure erect of the middle-aged and the aged who were participated in the leisure programs of the public community facilities. The sample in this study consisted of 351 middle-aged and aged living in Seoul and Daegu. frequencies, means and multiple regressions were employed for the analysis. The resets of this study were as follows: The factors affected on the leisure participation were age, number of the family, residence, and tuition fee. The factors had erects on the leisure satisfaction were sex, pocket money, residence, and the access of the transportation. And, the factors affected on the leisure effect were educational attaintment, total household income, number of the family, leisure attitude, and the access of transportation. The findings suggest that the advertisement will be needed for more use of the leisure programs in the public community facilities. And the Public transportation service will help middle-aged and aged access the facilities and participate the leisure programs.
