The Recently, most of Internet attacks are zero-day types of the unknown attacks by Malware. Using already known Misuse Detection Technology is hard to cope with these attacks. Also, the existing information security technology reached the limits because of various attack's patterns over the Internet, as web based service became more affordable, web service exposed to the internet becomes main target of attack. This paper classifies the traffic type over the internet and suggests the Threat Management System(TMS) including the anomaly intrusion detection technologies which can detect and analyze the anomaly sign for each traffic type.

Due to a recent rise in use of a wireless keyboard and mouse, attacks which take user's input information or control user's computer remotely exploiting the physical vulnerability in the wireless communication have been reported. Especially, MouseJack, announced by Bastille Network, attacks 2.4 GHz wireless keyboards and mice through exploiting vulnerability of each manufacturer's receiver. Unlike other attacks that have been revealed, this allows to attack AES wireless keyboards. Nonetheless, there is only a brief overview of the attack but no detailed information on this attacking method. Therefore, in this paper we will analyze the Microsoft 2.4 GHz wireless mouse packet and propose a way to set the packet configuration for HID packet injection simulating a wireless mouse. We also develop a system with 2.4 GHz AES wireless keyboard HID packet injection using the proposed packet and demonstrate via experiment that HID packet injection is possible through the system we built.

Mobile Ad-hoc Networks provide communication without a centralized infrastructure, which makes them suitable for communication in disaster areas or when quick deployment is needed. On the other hand, they are susceptible to malicious exploitation and have to face different challenges at different layers due to its open Ad-hoc network structure which lacks previous security measures. Denial of service (DoS) attack is one that interferes with the radio transmission channel causing a jamming attack. In this kind of attack, an attacker emits a signal that interrupts the energy of the packets causing many errors in the packet currently being transmitted. In harsh environments where there is constant traffic, a jamming attack causes serious problems; therefore measures to prevent these types of attacks are required. The objective of this paper is to carry out the simulation of the jamming attack on the nodes and determine the DoS attacks in OPNET so as to obtain better results. We have used effective anomaly detection system to detect the malicious behaviour of the jammer node and analyzed the results that deny channel access by jamming in the mobile Ad-hoc networks.

In this paper, we propose a method to apply the attack surface expansion through decoy traps to a protected server network. The network consists of a large number of decoys and protected servers. In the network, each protected server dynamically mutates its IP address and port numbers based on Hidden Tunnel Networking that is a network-based moving target defense scheme. The moving target defense is a new approach to cyber security and continuously changes system's attack surface to prevent attacks. And, the attack surface expansion is an approach that uses decoys and decoy groups to protect attacks. The proposed method modifies the NAT table of the protected server with a custom chain and a RETURN target in order to make attackers waste all their time and effort in the decoy traps. We theoretically analyze the attacker success rate for the protected server network before and after applying the proposed method. The proposed method is expected to significantly reduce the probability that a protected server will be identified and compromised by attackers.

In a known plaintext scenario, fast correlation attack is very powerful attack on stream ciphers. Most of fast correlation attacks consider the cryptographic problem as the suitable decoding problem. In this paper, we introduce advanced multi-pass fast correlation attack which is based on the fast correlation attack, which uses parity check equation and Fast Walsh Transform, proposed by Chose et al. and the Multi-pass fast correlation attack proposed by Zhang et al. We guess some bits of initial states of the target LFSR with the same method as previously proposed methods, but we can get one more bits at each passes and we will recover the initial states more efficiently.
Since wireless sensor networks are deployed in open environments, an attacker can physically capture some sensor nodes. Using information of compromised nodes, an attacker can launch false data injection attacks that report nonexistent events. False data can cause false alarms and draining the limited energy resources of the forwarding nodes. In order to detect and discard such false data during the forwarding process, various security solutions have been proposed. But since they are prevention-based solutions that involve additional operations, they would be energy-inefficient if the corresponding attacks are not launched. In this paper, we propose a detection method that can detect false data injection attacks without extra overheads. The proposed method is designed based on the signature of false data injection attacks that has been derived through simulation. The proposed method detects the attacks based on the number of reporting nodes, the correctness of the reports, and the variation in the number of the nodes for each event. We show the proposed method can detect a large portion of attacks through simulation.
This study verified the effects of violent PC games and aggressive personality on aggressive behavior and aggressive intention as predicted by GAM in Anderson and Bushman (2002), and a correlational study and experimental research were carried out to corroborate a differences of the effects of the two variables according to the developmental levels. The correlational study showed that aggressive personality was an explanatory variable for aggressive behavior; however, exposure to violent PC games was not a significant factor, contrary to the predictions by GAM. It has been clarified that the effects of the two variables influenced aggressive behavior in a different way according to the developmental levels. Further, no positive relation existed between repetitive (chronic) violent PC game plays and aggressive personality. The experimental research analyzed the differences of aggressive intention in each of the experimental conditions designed with a 2(PC games types: violent vs. non-violent) x 2(aggressive personality: high vs. low) x 2 (developmental levels: middle school boys and college students) between-subjects factorial design. As a result, violent PC games had an effect on aggressive intention for the middle school boy group, while it was supported that aggressive personality had an effect on aggressive intention for both middle school and college students. Noticeably, the primary hypothesis in the study has been supported that the effects of violent PC games and aggressive personality on aggressive intention vary according to different age groups. In conclusion, the effects of violent PC games and aggressive personality as predicted by GAM have been confirmed in parts; however, future studies on GAM must be necessarily supplemented with the developmental perspectives, as it has been ascertained that the effects of the variables vary according to the developmental levels.
Wireless sensor networks are comprised of sensor nodes with resource-constrained hardware. Nodes in the sensor network without adequate protection may be compromised by adversaries. Such compromised nodes are vulnerable to the attacks like false reports injection attacks and false data injection attacks on legitimate reports. In false report injection attacks, an adversary injects false report into the network with the goal of deceiving the sink or the depletion of the finite amount of energy in a battery powered network. In false data injection attacks on legitimate reports, the attacker may inject a false data for every legitimate report. To address such attacks, the probabilistic voting-based filtering scheme (PVFS) has been proposed by Li and Wu. However, each cluster head in PVFS needs additional transmission device. Therefore, this paper proposes a fuzzy logic-based false report detection method (FRD) to mitigate the threat of these attacks. FRD employs the statistical en-route filtering scheme as a basis and improves upon it. We demonstrate that FRD is efficient with respect to the security it provides, and allows a tradeoff between security and energy consumption, as shown in the simulation.

To defeat abnormal traffic driven by DoS (Denial-of-Service) or DDoS (Distributed DoS), there has been a variety of researches or studies in a few decades. In this paper, we present the results of theoretical performance analysis between attack prevention schemes and attack mitigation schemes. The former is a scheme that prevents abnormal incoming traffic from forwarding into a specific network based on filtering rules, and the latter is a scheme that makes some perimeter or intermediate routers, which exist on the traffic forwarding path, prevent abnormal traffic based on their own abnormal traffic information, or that mitigates abnormal traffic by using quality-of-service mechanisms at the gateway of the target network. The aspects of theoretical performance analysis are defined as the transit rates of either normal traffic or false-positive traffic after an attack detection routine processes its job, and we also present the concrete network bandwidth rates to control incoming traffic.
