  • 최근 급속도로 이루어진 스마트폰의 보급과 관련 기술의 발전은 다양한 종류의 앱(app)을 등장시켰고 이에 따라 모바일 증강현실 서비스에 대한 사람들의 관심 역시 커지고 있다. 현재 스마트폰을 활용한 증강현실 서비스를 살펴보면 현실공간에 증강해야 할 컨텐츠가 많은 경우에 컨텐츠간에 오버랩이 발생하며 이로 인해 사용자는 불편을 겪게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 전체 컨텐츠들 중에서 대표 컨텐츠 집합을 선정하는 기법을 제안하며 실험을 통해 그 효과를 검증한다.

  • Due to the problem of matching between virtual world space and real-world space, the reality of augmented reality content is rather low. There are many reasons for this result, firstly virtual object is rendered without considering relation between real-world space and virtual world space. Secondly, virtual objects rely too much on the marker to reduce reality. We propose two schemes to improve the reality of augmented reality, one is people occlusion, the other is to reduce the dependence of virtual objects on the marker.

  • Mixed and augmented reality technique deals with mixing content between real world and virtual world containing augmented reality and augmented virtuality excluding of pure real and pure virtual world. In mixed and augmented reality, if a live actor and entity moving in real world can be embedded more naturally in 3D virtual world, various advanced applications such 3D tele-presence, 3D virtual experience education and etc can be serviced. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a standard model which is supporting to embed the live actor and entity into 3D virtual space, and to interact with each other. And also the natural embedding and interaction of live actor and entity can be performed based on the proposed model.

  • According to the dictionary definition Augmented Reality Technology is "an enhanced version of reality where live direct or indirect views of physical real-world environments are augmented with superimposed computer-generated images over a user's view of the real-world, thus enhancing one's current perception of reality". Since civilian property damages, noise and accidents during the field exercise by military or drills so that AR technology are indispensible with small units drills in Army. However because AR technology which Army has adopted are usually use for special units or need separate spaces which costs lots of budgets, those are not fit for small unit drills or tactics in regular Army. In this regards this paper suggests the AR technology which can apply small unit drill field and the efficiency and legal concerns thereof as well.

  • This paper is aimed at offering preliminary data that improve the effectiveness of district unit planning, which has adopted to make comfortable environment of national land, to prevent urban sprawl rural area and to perform systematic maintenance of the existing urban area, by case study analysis about the applied possibility of GIS-based augmented reality. To do this, we developed the augmented reality based urban planning support system and checked the parts that can be applied of augmented reality techniques in the process of district units planning. And we analysed about merits and demerits of augmented reality techniques through comparative analysis, which is about form, arrangement, use, and height of building, building coverage ratio, floor area ratio and landscape planning in the case study area, the Yeosu district(located in Seongnam).

  • 본 논문에서는 증강현실 기술을 이용한 가구 배치 시뮬레이션 시스템 개발 방법을 제안한다. 이 프로그램은 소파, 탁자같은 가구, 운동기구, 냉장고, 김치냉장고, TV등의 부피가 큰 제품들을 집에 들이기에 충분한 공간이 있는지를 확인 할 수 있다. 현재 셀프 인테리어를 하고 있는 인구가 크게 늘고 있다. 공간 확보 및 인테리어를 증강현실 기술을 이용하여 미리 해보며 가구 및 가전제품의 구입에 도움을 준다.

  • 본 논문에서 우리는 실시간 COI(Context-of-Interest) 등록에서의 증강현실 기반의 유기적 사용자 인터페이스를 제안한다. 먼저 동적으로 변하는 현실 공간의 사용자와 환경 정보를 반영한 증강형태(Augmented Form)의 변형을 가능하게하는 유기적 증강현실을 소개한다. 이를 사전에 정의된 증강현실 마커의 제약을 극복하는 실시간 삼차원 모델링 및 추적 기술에 적용하여 작업의 단계와 흐름에 따라 동적으로 변경되는 제공되는 증강 가이드를 구현하였다. 결과적으로 사용자는 응용 시스템에 대한 사전 학습이 부족하더라도 유기적인 가이드 정보에 따라 직관적인 작업 수행을 기대할 수 있다.

  • The Augmented Reality of existing for the interaction which the object and background is smooth used the data glove or marker. Immersion feeling improvement from Augmented Reality wearing the hazard additional entry device it proposes the space coordinate creation technique of the virtuality description below for a interaction without from the present paper. The method which is proposed the image which it acquires the object of virtuality reflected at 2D space and the characteristic line about under extracting the space coordinate which reflects about under calculating it reflected. The application is possible in markerless Augmented Reality and the mobile Augmented Reality.

  • In this paper, we describe CAMAR Companoin, a context-aware mobile AR system that provides a user-adaptive assistance with an augmented picture according to the user's context in smart space. It recognizes physical objects and tracks the movement of those objects with a camera embodied to a mobile device. CAMAR Companion observes a mobile user's context, which is sensed by various kinds of sensors in environments, and infers user preference for the content in the situation. It recommends multimedia content relevant to the user's context. It overlays selected content over associated physical objects and enables the user to experience the content in a user-centric manner. Furthermore, we have developed the prototype to illustrate how our system could be used for a mobile user's well-being care applications in smart home environments. In this application, we found that our system could perceive a user preference even though a user's context is changed dynamically, and then adapt the multimedia content with respect to the user's context effectively. As such, the proposed user-adaptive system has the potential to play an important role in developing customized user interfaces in mobile devices.

  • We In this study, We tested for artificial intelligence-based virtual space story books were planned. The proposed virtual space concept, a story book with the characteristics of Augmented Virtuality, was implemented Several steps are needed to proceed with the virtual space storybook's story. First, a user brings a real object in to virtual space and recognizes the real object with an artificial intelligence-based object-recognition software. Second, when object recognition progresses, the virtual 3D model is augmented in the virtual space, which is then inserted into the virtual space and rendered. Finally, software projected a virtual space storybook on the desk in which users can touch and select real-objects. This virtual space storybook was implemented using the new story-making technology by applying the virtual space concept. the Augmented Virtuality concept is to augment real objects based on virtual space. To confirm this we tested a user test using the virtual space storybook. the user seemed as if can the distinction between real objects and virtual images. Also very well and that understood the process of putting the real objects in virtual space.
