A Study on the Influence of Blasting Vibration and Sound on Each floor in Building during Blasting Operation (저층건축물 인근 발파작업시 진동 및 폭음이 층별로 미치는 영향 연구)

  • Many buildings have been bolt in Korea. Because blasting operations and more efficient to make excavate rock than other methods, it's more extensively used for new construction, enlargement of buildings, subway work, etc. However, blasting vibrations and sound often create pollution. A study, 'The place of gathering earth and sand to construct a building site in Yangsan', has been done in Gyo-dong, in Yangsan. There are two high-rise apartment and buildings, beside a construction site. The blasting vibrations and sound were monitored on the 1st, 4th floors in building(4th floor), and the results of the analysis are as follows: The blasting vibrations decreased being transmited from 1st floor to 4th floor.

  • 3D models in urban areas are essential for a variety of applications, such as virtual visualization, GIS, and mobile communications. LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is a relatively new technology for obtaining Digital Terrain Models (DTM) of the earth's surface since manual 3D data reconstruction is very costly and time consuming. In this paper an approach to extract ground and non-ground points data from LIDAR data by using filtering is presented and the accuracy for generating DTM from ground points data is evaluated. Numerous filter algorithms have been developed to date. To determine the performance of filtering, we selected three filters which are based on the concepts for height difference, slope, and morphology, and also were applied two different data acquired from high raised apartments areas and low house areas. From the results it has been found that the accuracy for generating DTM from LIDAR data are 0.16 m and 0.59 m in high raised apartments areas and low house areas respectively. We expect that LIDAR data is used to generate the accurate DTM in urban areas.

A Study on Changes and Preferences of Roof Styles of High-storied Apartments - Centering of High-storied Apartments in GwangJu - (고층아파트 지붕형태의 변천과 선호특성에 관한 연구 - 광주광역시의 고층아파트를 중심으로 -)

  • This study examines and analyzes a variety of apartment roof style for 147 apartment complexes built in the Gwangju metropolitan city in order to determine the style that is most preferred. The results of this study are as follows. Most of apartment houses built in the Gwangju metropolitan city are 11 to 15 stories followed by apartments that have less than 5 stories, with fewer apartments that have 16 to 20 stories. According to roof styles, the eyebrow roof A type is the most common, followed by the plane roof A type, the sloped roof B type and the sloped roof C type, while 2/3 of all roof types have either an eyebrow roof A type or a plane roof A type. Using images of these roof types to determine those that are preferred, the decorative roof C type is most preferred, followed by the sloped roof B and C types. According to recognition of adjective pairs, decorative roof C type showed a higher recognition for the categories of unique, decorative, three dimensional and novel, the sloped roof B type showed a higher recognition for the categories of three dimensional, decorative and structured while the sloped roof C type showed a higher recognition in the decorative, novel, varied and three dimensional categories. In the correlations between image preference and recognition scale of roof styles of apartment houses, decorative roof C type showed a significant correlation between adjective pairs with the calm image, the sloped roof B type with the intimate image, while the sloped roof C type showed a correlation between static and ordered with the easy image. Therefore, for the design of future apartment roofs, decorative roof C type requires more consideration of visual aspects that are related to a sense of unity, while further morphological factors needs to be adopted with sloped roof B and C types.

Deterioration Characteristics through Evaluating the Level of Deterioration of High-rise and High-density Apartments (고층고밀 아파트단지의 노후특성 평가 연구 - 1기 신도시 중 분당신도시의 아파트단지를 대상으로 -)

  • The purpose of this research is to determine the deterioration characteristics of high-rise and high-density apartment complexes in 1st period new towns in order to regenerate apartments as sustainable residential environments in Korea. For this purpose, the level of deterioration was evaluated by using 'evaluating indicators of the level of deterioration of high-rise and high-density apartments'. The deterioration characteristics were determined inclusively and concretely based on evaluation results. In addition, the deterioration level according to residents' awareness of the deterioration of their apartment was evaluated. This study was conducted by methods of field data collection, staff interview, field measurement, and resident survey according to the measurement of the evaluating indicators. And the re-organized questionnaire based on the evaluating indicators was utilized for a survey of resident's awareness. The results are as follows: In the physical dimensions of apartments, the deterioration characteristics included deteriorated equipment and a decline in structural performance due to the aging of the apartment, a shortage of parking spaces, and the low flexibility of the bearing wall structure, etc. In terms of the social dimensions, the apartments showed an increase in the number of elderly households, a shortage of community facilities, and a lack of the opportunity for community participation etc. In terms of the economic dimensions, the apartments showed limitations in maintenance & repair and a lack of environmentally friendly features.

A Study on Identifying Problems by the Comparative Analysis of High-Rise Apartment Evacuation Design Codes (고층 아파트 피난설계기준 비교분석을 통한 문제점 도출 연구)

  • The recent tragic outbreak of fire at the Grenfell Tower in the United Kingdom compels all branches of government to reexamine and reassess the safety measures against fires in high-rise buildings from a broad perspective. Accordingly, this study examined what problems stem from the current evacuation codes by comparative analysis of the high-rise apartment evacuation codes that range over various individual laws before introducing a new evacuation code. The outcome of this study can be utilized as basic data for amending the existing evacuation codes for high-rise buildings. The codes related to high-rise building evacuation include the Building Act, the Housing Act, the Skyscraper Disaster Management Act, and the Fire-Fighting System Act. Some local governments have also drawn up their own codes and put them into practice. Comparative analysis of the major evacuation codes has helped identify a variety of problems, such as different codes being applied to each individual law and ordinance, the use of additional codes other than the provisions of laws and ordinances, and the in effectiveness of evacuation codes. Most of these problems occur when diverse codes are applied to a single building, which means that cooperation among the relevant ministries is urgently needed to improve the related codes in the future.

Differences between Sale Prices and Lotting Prices in New Multi-family Housing Considering Housing Sub-Market (주택하부시장 특성을 고려한 신규 분양가와 입주후 가격 변화에 관한 연구)

  • This study tried to find differences between housing lotting prices and sale prices owing to new multi-family housing price regulation. As the results of this study, they are as follows; First, this study shows housing market in Busan has a preferences of new housing which has a new housing form differing from the existing housing form. For example, the mixed-use apartment with higher stories shows steeper incline than the apartments with the existing forms. Second, the new housing prices are affected by the information that affect the price of the old existing housing. They are rates of green area of an apartment complex, the number of household, accessibility to downtown Busan and etc.. They are also confirmed factors that affect a rise of used-housing price in other studies. Third, brand value of apartments affects new housing prices. For example, if the major construction companies build the new apartment, it shows a rising trend than any other housing. Therefore, the local construction companies are expected to be put on a disadvantage places than major construction companies. Fourth, the lotting prices are the most important cause that lead to rise the new housing prices. Accordingly, the present lotting prices are expected that upward tendency the purchasing prices of the new housing will not continue, because the lotting prices have risen since the government removed lotting price regulations and exceeded the level of used-housing prices. And it denote that importance of housing sub-market which indicates rates of old existing housing market rising, frist preference Gu, second preference Gu, rate of multi-family housing.

The comparison of CFD result of wind condition around high-rise building in urban area with LIDAR measurement data (도심지 고층빌딩에서 LIDAR측정치와 CFD해석 결과 비교 검증)

  • 최근들어 전산유체역학(CFD: Computational Fluid Dynamics)은 빌딩에 대하여 다양한 응용분야에서 사용된다. 이번 연구에서는 측정이 어려운 도심지 건물 군을 지나는 바람에 대하여 CFD해석 방법을 이용하여 고층 빌딩 상공을 지나가는 바람장을 예측 하였으며, 예측 된 결과를 실제 측정치와 비교 검증하였다. 바람장 측정 방법은 마스트를 세워서 측정하는 방법, 풍동 실험실에서 축소된 모형에 대한 실험방법, PIV 측정방법, LIDAR, SODAR측정 방법 등 많은 방법이 있다. 이번 연구에서는 가장 정확한 측정 방법인 LIDAR를 사용하여 측정을 수행하였다. 바람장이 측정된 장소는 서울 잠실 롯데 호텔 상공이며, 불어오는 바람은 롯데 월드를 중심으로 주변의 상가 건물들과 아파트 건물들 때문에 불안정하며 고르지 않을 것으로 예상되었다. LIDAR 측정은 일정 기간 동안 이루어 졌다. CFD해석은 임의의 시간대에 대해서 주 풍향에 대해서 해석이 수행되었다. CFD 해석결과는 최종적으로 측정 데이터와 비교 검증이 이루어 졌으며, 두 데이터간의 일치도가 높음을 알 수 있었다.

주거지역 고층아파트 주민의 실내${\cdot}$외 공기 중 PM10 및 CO에 대한 노출

  • 겨울철 주거지역에서 발생되는 PM10은 도로변에서 발생되는 자동차와 같은 배출원에 의한 영향으로 실외의 경우 도로와의 인접한 곳에서 높은 농도를 나타냈으며, 실내의 경우 환기불량으로 외부에 의한 영향이 적은 것을 알 수 있었다. 반면, CO의 경우 저층 I/O 농도비의 차이가 없는 반면 고층은 실내가 실외보다 유의하게 높은 농도를 나타냈으며, 실내 층고간의 차이가 없는 것으로 보아 외부에서 발생되는 배출원에 의한 영향 뿐 아니라 내부에서 발생되는 배출원(조리, 흡연, 난방 등)에 의한 영향을 받는 것으로 사료된다.

  • 현재 국내에서는 아파트 건물을 짓는데 벽과 바닥판으로만 이루어진 벽식 구조형식을 많이 사용하고 있다. 이러한 고층 아파트건물을 해석하기 위해서 ETABS나 MIDAS/BDS 같은 상용프로그램이 주로 사용되고 있다. ETABS는 해석상의 편의를 위하여 바다판을 강막으로 가정하여 모형화 하고 바닥판의 휨강성은 고려하지 않고 있다. 이러한 가정은 프레임 구조물을 해석할 때에는 합리적이라고 할 수 있다. 그러나 벽식 구조물은 바닥판의 휨강성이 전체 구조물의 횡방향 강성에 큰 영향을 미치므로 바닥판의 휨강성을 고려하지 않으면 전체 구조물의 강성을 과소평가하게 된다. 따라서 바닥판을 판요소로 세분하여 모형화 하는 것이 필요하다. 그러나 이때 많은 양의 해석 시간과 컴퓨터 메모리가 필요하게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 부분구조법과 행렬응축기법을 사용하여 해석 시간과 컴퓨터 메모리의 사용을 줄이면서도 바닥판의 휨강성을 효율적으로 해석할 수 있는 해석 기법을 제안하였고 예제를 통하여 검증하였다.

  • Pursuing a higher quality of life, citizens are becoming mere interested in the urban landscape surrounding therm. A well maintained landscape provides visual aesthetics for people who appreciate it. However, because of the difficulty in measuring landscape value quantitatively, establishing proper strategies for the landscape management has always been a problem For these circumstances, this study was conducted with the following purposes : estimating of openness and the other useful purposes by 3D simulation program. This study also provides information useful for builder s rational price strategy.
