  • The core of the cloud computing technology is the data center in that the networking technology is important. Cloud data centers are comprised of tens or even hundreds of thousands of physical servers, so networking technology is required for high-speed data transfer. These networking technologies also require scalability, fault tolerance, and agility. For these requirements, many multi-path based schemes have been proposed. However, it was mainly used for load balancing of traffic and select a path randomly. In this paper, a scheme that can construct a multipath using software defined networking technology and transmit the traffic in parallel by using the multipath to achieve a fast transmission speed, solve the scalability problem and fault tolerance is proposed.

  • 자동차 부품의 결함은 시스템 전체의 성능 저하 및 인적 물적 손실이 발생할 수 있으므로 생산라인에서의 불량 검출은 매우 중요하다. 따라서 정확하고 균일한 결과의 불량 검출을 위해 딥러닝 기반의 고장 진단 시스템이 다양하게 연구되고 있다. 하지만 제조현장에서는 정상 샘플보다 비정상 샘플의 발생 빈도가 현저히 낮다. 이는 학습 데이터의 클래스 불균형 문제로 이어지게 되고, 이러한 불균형 문제는 고장을 판별하는 분류 모델의 성능에 영향을 끼치게 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 모터의 동작음으로부터 불량 모터를 판별하는 불량 검출 시스템 설계를 위한 데이터 불균형 해결 방법을 제안한다. 자동차 사이드 미러 모터의 동작음을 학습 및 테스트를 위한 데이터 셋으로 사용하였으며 손실함수 계산 시 학습 데이터 셋의 클래스별 샘플 수 가 반영되는 label-distribution-aware margin(LDAM) loss 와 Inception, ResNet, DenseNet 신경망 모델의 비교 분석을 통해 불균형 데이터를 처리할 수 있는 가능성을 보여주었다.

A Study on Extended Reality-Based Remote Collaborative Support Systems for Ships (확장현실 기반 선박 원격 협업 지원 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • The extended reality-based remote collaborative support system for ships monitors critical ship systems in real time for fault diagnosis and prediction. In case of malfunctions, it provides expert maintenance support through onshore remote assistance. The system integrates optimized 2D/3D content via maritime communication and utilizes augmented reality for fault diagnosis and repair. Additionally, it includes a feature for remote expert inspections, allowing onshore experts to address issues remotely. In this paper, we propose a ship remote collaboration support system that facilitates real-time communication between ships and ground control centers by developing a time delay conversion transmission function for simulating the maritime ship network environment.

  • Avionics system are composed of multiple electronic device that performs important missions the number of electronic devices for the performance of aircraft has been gradually increasing. As a result, cost of development, maintenance and operating have increased. To solve this problem, technology paradigm of avionics has been shifting from federated avionics systems that manage to each system independently to IMA(Integrated Modular Avionics) systems. Unlike federated systems, fault tolerance becomes an essential technology in IMA systems. Because each aircraft features integrated in the an IMA system, a fault can jeopardize the entire system. In this paper, we define faults which can occur on the ARINC 653 based IMA system first, and design the ARINC 653 compliant HM(health Monitoring) system for the system can continue to operate be normal when occur a fault.

  • Wiring defect is a major concern for safe aircraft operations. However, troubleshooting process of a wiring defect is very difficult due to extensive and complex wiring system and installed location. Recently, time domain reflectometer (TDR) equipment that enables effective defected wiring troubleshooting has been introduced. Unfortunately, TDRs have not practically adopted by most of airlines' maintenance departments because the effectiveness and usefulness of TDRs have not been verified. This study was conducted to verify if TDRs can identify the location and type of defected aircraft wiring, and whether they can be applied for troubleshooting purposes. Experimental plan was established by using various wires and connections applied to actual aircraft and the observed results were compared with the TDR operation guide. The usability of the TDR in actual aircraft wiring defect detection may be acceptable as the experimental results showed similar results to the TDR operation guide.

  • A rapid growth of mobile devices and a proliferation of wireless networks lead to changing the existing environment into a mobile environment. Expansion of mobile environment makes a pressing need of mobile databases, and there are several solutions to achieve it. But they still accompany with some problems. Especially, the current synchronization server that manages consistently many mobile database management systems is based on the centralized method to synchronize data between the mobile database systems. It is the major factor that causes the lower performance of the whole system. Furthermore, the fault tolerance has not been considered in the existing systems. Therefore, we suggest the mobile agent-based mobile database system in order to resolve the problems. The system, we propose in this paper, provides the high-performance of the whole system by mobile grouping, and also may support a fault-tolerance management method.

  • The failure of network and/or node on which server object is executed is a single point of system failure in the CORBA application. One of the possible ways to overcome such problem is to replicate server objects to several independent nodes. The replicated objects executing same tasks are called object group. In order to provide fault tolerance of server object, this paper proposes and implements new CORBA model that supports the object group based on active replication. The proposed model not only provides interoperability with existing CORBA application but also minimizes additional application interface required to support object group because it uses nop to exchange messages between client and server. And this paper extends IDL structure. Depending to application logic, it makes possible to prevent performance degradation caused by consistency maintenance. At present, this paper supports only active replication. But it can be easily extended to provide warm ancVor cold passive replication without modification of architecture required for active replication.

  • This study is for improvement of repair part demand forecasting method of Republic of Korea Air Force aircraft. Recently, demand prediction methods are Weighted moving average, Linear moving average, Trend analysis, Simple exponential smoothing, Linear exponential smoothing. But these use fixed weight and moving average range. Also, NORS(Not Operationally Ready upply) is increasing. Recommended method of Box-Jenkins' ARIMA can solve problems of these method and improve estimate accuracy. To compare recent prediction method and ARIMA that use mean squared error(MSE) is reacted sensitively in change of error. ARIMA has high accuracy than existing forecasting method. If apply this method of study in other several Items, can prove demand forecast Capability.

Diagnosis Method for Stator-Faults in Induction Motor using Park's Vector Pattern and Convolution Neural Network (Park's Vector 패턴과 CNN을 이용한 유도전동기 고정자 고장진단방법)

  • In this paper, we propose a method to use PV(Park's Vector) pattern for inductive motor stator fault diagnosis using CNN(Convolution Neural Network). The conventional CNN based fault diagnosis method was performed by imaging three-phase currents, but this method was troublesome to perform normalization by artificially setting the starting point and phase of current. However, when using PV pattern, the problem of normalization could be solved because the 3-phase current shows a certain circular pattern. In addition, the proposed method is proved to be superior in the accuracy of CNN by 18.18[%] compared to the previous current data image due to the autonomic normalization.

여분의 관성센서 시스템을 위한 순차적 고장 검출 및 분리기법

  • We consider some problems of the Modified SPRT(Sequential Probability Ratio Test) method for fault detection and isolation of inertial redundant sensor systems and propose an Advanced SPRT method which solves the problems of the Modified SPRT method. The problems of the Modified SPRT method to apply to inertial sensor system come from the effect of inertial sensor errors and the correlation of parity vector components. We use a two-stage Kalman filter to remove effects of the inertial sensor errors and propose the modified parity vector and the controlled parity vector which reduces the effect of correlation of parity vector components. The Advanced SPRT method is derived form the modified parity vector and the controlled party vector. Some simulation results are presented to show the usefulness of the Advanced SPRT method to redundant inertial sensor systems.
