Analysis of the Suspension Characteristics for Next generation High Speed Train on the View of Concept Design (개념적 관점에서 차세대고속철도차량의 현가요소 특성 분석)

  • Next Generation High Speed Train having a distributed electrical motor system has just been developing to aim the experimental maximum speed at 400km/h since August, 2007. This project is in stage of concept design and so, it needs to take some review and analysis the characteristics of suspensions on the view of concept design. A vehicle modeling is made of modified Korean High Speed Train bogie model with Vampire program and analyzed the effect on the dynamic performances according to the variation of primary and secondary suspension characteristics. The results would be useful to manage the potential risks in the next stage of basic and precision design that will be done by the manufacturing company.

Verified 20-car Model of High-speed Train for Dynamic Response Analysis of Railway Bridges (검증된 고속철도 차량의 20량편성 정밀모형에 의한 철도교량의 동적응답 분석)

  • The dynamic analysis model is developed with the high-speed train (KTX) and a 2-span continuous prestressed concrete box girder bridge with a double track. The analytical results are compared with the dynamic field test results and found to be valid to yield quite accurate dynamic responses. The various trainset models with different number of cars are developed and compared with the results of the regular 20-car trainset model. It is concluded that the reduced trainset models, such as 7-car and 10-car models, cannot exactly produce the dynamic responses of bridges, especially when the train speed is high. Under the coincidence condition of two trains traveling with resonance velocity in the opposite directions, it is found that the impact factor under two-way coincidence is three times larger than that under one-way traffic. Consequently, for the bridge with a double-track it is necessary to check not only the dynamic responses of the bridge with one-way traffic but those with two-way coincidence.

  • The high-speed train(KTX) was operated in domestic since 2004 and 4years have been passed since then. At the beginning most of the KTX component maintenance period was followed by the France SNCF. It was settled by the TBO(Time Between Overhauls). But the environment and operation condition are different form each other, so the TBO maintenance period can be different in some component. Therefore new TBO is necessary based on our own circumstances. This paper introduces failure analysis case on some components to set TBO in domestic. KTX-RCM(Reliability Centered Maintenance System), MICS(Maintenance Information Computer System) and KOVIS(KORAIL ERP System) Data was investigated.

  • Dedicated Short-Range Communication은 단거리 무선 고속 패킷 통신 기능을 제공하며, 신뢰성, 안전한 데이터 전송 및 낮은 대기 시간으로 인해 Road Safety Application에서 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SDN의 분산 컨트롤러를 이용하여 DSRC 통신을 제어하는 방식을 제안하였다. 제안한 기법을 실용화한다면 차량을 기반으로 한 실시간 교통 정보 수집이 보다 효과적으로 이루어질 것으로 기대된다.

  • 고속도로에서 주행속도가 높아지게 되면, 도로의 노면 상태에 따라 차량의 안전과 쾌적한 운전자의 환경이 변화될 수 있다. 이처럼 도로의 노면 상태를 결정하는 주된 인자는 도로의 평탄성과 소성변형에 의한 노면의 요철이라고 할 수 있다. 평탄하지 못한 도로를 자동차가 고속으로 주행하게 되면, 자동차의 속도에 의한 도로와의 마찰이 발생하여 자동차에는 매우 큰 흔들림이 발생하게 된다. 또한, 도로의 경우에도 자동차의 차축과 도로면에서 발생하는 충격에 의해 미세한 진동이 발생하게 된다. 그리고 광섬유 브래그 격자(FBG)센서는 외부에서 작용하는 매우 미세한 물리량에 의한 변화의 측정이 가능한 매우 우수한 계측 센서로 사용이 가능하기 때문에 온도보상형 광섬유진동센서를 제작하였고, 이를 고속도로 포장면의 평탄성 모니터링에 활용하고자 하였다.

  • 지능형 교통시스템(ITS)은 기존의 교통 정보시스템에 첨단 통신기술을 접목하여 교통 시설 운용의 효율성을 극대화시키고, 향후 mobile office 구현을 목표로 활발한 연구 중에 있다. 또한 mobile office의 대표적인 서비스로는 Internet 서비스가 있으며, 현재 ISO/TC204 WGl6(CALM)에서 활발한 연구 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 mobile office의 대표적인서비스 예로 인터넷 서비스 제공 시 무선환경에서 야기되어지는 핸드오프 방안에 대한 알고리즘으로 HiN-handoff 알고리즘을 제시하였다. HiN-handoff(handover) 알고리즘은 기존의핸드 오프 알고리즘의 보완방법으로 차량에서 고속 주행 시 단절구간을 미리 예측하여 handoff(handover)를 극복해 보고자 하는 알고리즘이다.

  • Described in this paper is the result of a study on collision analysis of TGV-K using 1-dimensional model for crashworthy design. Crashworthy design of the front end is very important because majority of the impact energy (more than 70%) is absorbed by the crush of the front end when the train is collided with an obstacle like a tank lorry. Guideline for the crashworthy design can be described from the collision analysis of the whole train using a 1-dimensional model. Since the headstock of TGV-K is not designed in a crashworthy point of view, a conceptual design of the headstock to improve crashworthiness is suggested and evaluated using 1-dimensional collision analysis. The suggested design, which adopts an energy absorber and a crashworthy headstock, shows a good behaviour on the accident scenario of SNCF (collision at 110 km/hr against a movable rigid mass of 15 ton).

  • This study represents the technique about the noise reduction of HVAC equipment for high speed train(HST) operating at 200km/h. HST is different from the low speed train in the various points as well as the speed. Especially, the noise of cabin is closely related to the comfort of passenger and the noise from HVAC is one of main noise source in the cabin. In this study, the noise from HVAC was reduced by 5 dB(A) using the concept of multiple resonator and guide vein. Therefore, the noise of cabin decreased from 60 dB(A) to 55 dB(A) at the center of the cabin.

  • The railroad is a means of large transportation which has many talents such as a safety and a regularity. That is a results from various confidential performance tests and evaluations of the system. The railroad system consist of various subsystems - vehicle, power supply, signal, communications, track structures, operations, etc. Among them, as an item of safety evaluation there is a measurement of wheel/rail force, so called a measurement of derailment coefficient. This is a very important item because a derailment of a train will bring about a big accident. Especially it is more inportant in high speed rail of which operation speed is over two times as fast as existing rail. In this paper, it is introduced to preprocess the wheelset for measuring wheel/rail force of high speed rail, such as to treat a measuring wheelset, its finite element analysis, adhesion of strain gauges and static load test.

  • In order to develop a high speed train, various conditions have been considered. Internal noise level of cabins is an important one. In this study, The specification of the interior noise level for KHST(Korean High Speed Train) has been adopted the same level of KTX-spec. In this paper, the interior noise levels of KHST are measured and analysed through the speed and other conditions. According to the speed, the level of internal noise(driver's room(PC2), motorized trailer(TM1) and trailer car(TT2)) is compared. The results of measuring data show that the interior noise levels of KHST are good. And noise levels of this paper are useful in the decision of noise specification.
