Analysis on the Induction Effects by Separation Distance between the Power Feeding Station and the Telecommunication Cables (고속전철 급전소와의 이격거리에 따른 전력 유도 영향 분석)

  • We have analyzed the induction effects by separation distance between the power feeding station and the telecommunication cables. To do this we measured the induced voltage in 11 sections(10km) between Jangseong and Imgok at Jeon-nam province using telecommunication cable installed nearby KTX's feeder line. Sub-section has about 1km length of telecommunication cable. And we used normalization method in installed length of telecommunication cables and mutual inductance to analysis the induction effects more rationally.

  • The decisive criteria to determine collection performance is the contact force between pantograph and catenary. The contact force consists of a static force and dynamic force related to vibration characteristics, train speed and etc. The low contact force leads to the loss of contact, and most countries regulate it below 1% at operation speed. This study presents a technical overview of criteria for collection performance of catenary system.

  • In long tunnel If we reduce the length of system height on catenary system, tunnel construction cost is cut down. It is because of tunnel section curtailment. So that we have review reduction of system height according to tunnel section. We have designed reduction of system height considered characteristics of overhead contact systems within UIC 799 code.

  • This paper presents a design method of database to manage materials having hierarchical structure on Kyungbu high-speed catenary system. Through this method, the automatic management software was developed. The software can get to find out assemblies as well as single fittings used in a section.

  • This paper presents a concept design of detail design software for high speed catenary system. In this software, M.D.(mounting diagram) can be peformed and parts D/B can be also managed. french one, used in Kyung-bu high-speed line, is not good at user's interface, and the source code is not opened. So, it is impossible to use it in the different environment and catenary system. Through this program, automation of detail design and user's convenience can be derived.

  • In year 2004 korea runs high speed train KTX for the 5th time in the world. And now the traction power system is quite stabilized. But still a lot of work to develop and abnormal voltage problem is one of them. In this paper, by actual measuring we have collected the abnormal data on the high speed train sub-staion for more than 15 days. The collected data has been evaluated. In the near future collected data will be used planing a countermeasure.
