The research method is to set up a research model and hypotheses through a literature review and conduct a survey and then perform factor analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. Hypothesis1. The evaluation factors (readability, formability or symbolism) of outdoor advertising signboard in traditional markets will affect their practicality. Hypothesis 2. The type of attached advertising signboards (protruding type or wall-type) in traditional markets will control the impact of each evaluation factors' on practicality. In a result, readability and formability will affect practicality. To increase practicality, the size, color, font, layout and etc. of outdoor advertising signboards should be well recognized to get the better understanding. Also, practicality will be increased by the harmonization and the sense of balance.

  • This study is a descriptive research study to confirm the mediating effect of work-life balance in the relationship between grit and job embeddedness of clinical nurses. Participants included 155 nurses from four hospitals located in D city. Data was collected from July 29 to August 19, 2022 using a self-report questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient and Baron and Kenny's three-step hierarchical regression using the SPSS 22.0 program. In this study, it was found that there was a significant positive correlation between the nurse's grit, job embeddedness, and work-life balance, and it was confirmed that work-life balance partially mediated the relationship between grit and job embeddedness. Therefore, it is suggested that grit and work-life balance should be improved in order to improve the job embeddedness of nurses.

  • This study was designed to measure the difference in health-related quality of life (HRQOL) among social classes and explore the factors that may explain it. Study subjects were 7,992 Korean adults aged 20-69 from the 4th (2007-2009) Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys data. We described mean value of EQ-5D index as a HRQOL by class and performed hierarchical multiple regression analysis to find the factors. The result was as follows. In the distribution of EQ-5D index level among social classes, new middle class (class II) had the highest score (0.966 in men and 0.955 in women); upper and middle-upper class (class I) 0.965 in men and 0.936 in women; working class (class IV) 0.958 in men and 0.936 in women; old middle class (class III) 0.955 in men and 0.932 in women; low class (class VI) 0.941 in men and 0.908 in women; and rural self-management class (class V) the lowest score (0.918 in men and 0.866 in women). In men, chronic disease, job stress, education and income level were found to make the difference in the health-related quality of life among social classes; in women, those factors and health behavior explained the difference. In conclusion, the lower social class has lower HRQOL. Except for education and income level, chronic disease may be the major factor to explain the difference in the health-related quality of life among social classes.

  • This paper studies what affects the private education cost for the elementary, middle, and high school students. It is a big issue now because there can be a problem in the equal opportunity for education if the portion of private education cost is very high in the total education cost. If we spend more time and money on the private education than the school education, it can cause the polarization among the classes and regions. The excessive private education also can deteriorate the school system. we use various regression and classification methods to analyze the cost of private education and find the important variables in the models. we found that large cities spend more money on the private education than small cities. We also found that high school students spend more than middle school students and the elementary students and the household with more income spend more money on the private education.

  • This study analyzed the data from Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey to examine factors associated with help-seeking among Korean adults with suicidal ideation. The results from binary logistic regression analysis showed that being currently married, low family income, and absence of diagnosed clinical depression were negatively associated with seeking help. Gender, age, education, the PHQ total score, and health insurance did not significantly change the probability of seeking help. The future suicide help-seeking intervention should focus on those who are less likely to seek help.

  • The purpose of this study is to depict statistically and exploratively the interrelationship among learning orientation, environmental turbulence, and performance in the railway public organizations. To attain this purpose, a questionnaire was provided based on literature survey, and 616 respondent's data received was tested for its validity and reliability. And then, simple and vertical regression analysis were performed. The main findings are as follows: First, learning orientation has a relatively positive effects on performance. Second, environmental turbulence shows a partial moderating effects on the relationship between learning orientation and performance. These findings suggest that learning orientation do exist as an important organizational cultural dimension that contributes to the acquisition of sustainable competitive advantage, and some restrictive factors of public organizations seem to inevitably disrupt the intrinsic necessity of learning in the railway organizations.

  • The objective of this research examines the relationships among privacy concerns, self discrepancy, and sense of virtual communities. According to the relevant literature review, we considered information privacy concerns factor as information collection, control, and awareness of privacy practice, and sense of community factor as membership and immersion on virtual communities. This research surveyed for the online community user and employed hierarchical regression model for the moderating effect test. The results of empirical analysis turns out that awareness of privacy concerns practice has negative impact on the self discrepancy, on the other hand, information collection and control factors do not affect. The next finding is internet use duration has moderating effect on the self discrepancy with information control and awareness of privacy concerns practice. The last findings are self discrepancy affect on the community membership and does not affect on the community immersion. It could be a good guide line for the operational direction on virtual community.

  • Internet addiction in adolescents is an important social issue. In this study, sparse partial least-squares regression (SPLS) was applied to internet addiction data in Korean adolescent samples. The internet addiction score and various clinical and psychopathological features were collected and analyzed from self-reported questionnaires. We considered three PLS methods and compared the performance in terms of prediction and sparsity. We found that the SPLS method with the hierarchical likelihood penalty was the best; in addition, two aggression features, AQ and BSAS, are important to discriminate and explain latent features of the SPLS model.
