This study was carried out on the citations within the chemistry field Ph.D. dissertations to ascertain what types of documents are the most frequently used in the research process, the most frequently consulted journals and obsolescence rate of the journals. The analysis covered 42 doctoral theses presented at 'K' university in Seoul from 2000 to 2008. The results obtained from the 3,258 citations revealed that the most frequently used documents were Academic Journal, which accounted for 91 percent of the total; 27 journals met 50 percent of the information needs; and the age of 50 percent of the citations was no older than 9 years. Finally, the results can be used as a tool for the collection management of the library. and Researcher with the chemistry field Ph.D. dissertation.

최근 국내외 ESG 연구가 활발해지고 있는 가운데, ESG 연구는 급격한 양적 성장을 하고 있음에도 학술지의 질적 수준을 평가할 수 있는 계량적인 논문은 부족한 상태이다. 본 연구는 한국학술지인용색인(KCI)에서 경영학 분야 내의 KCI 인용지수를 활용하여 상위 10개의 학회를 선정하고 이들 간의 ESG 논문 인용빈도와 네트워크 분석을 하였다. 상호 인용빈도를 활용하여 연결망을 작성하고 네트워크 분석 관점에서 ESG 주제에 관한 각 학술지 간 상호인용빈도를 통해 주어진 학술지의 영향력지수(Impact Factor)와 중심성 지수를 기초하여 연구하였다. 이러한 연구를 바탕으로 학술지들이 핵심 문헌을 식별하고 학문 내 지적 구조를 규명하여 경영학 분야의 ESG 연구 동향을 파악하고자 한다. 본 연구는 국내 발간된 경영학 학술지의 ESG에 대한 학술지의 영향력 인용지수를 비교해 보고 나아가 경영학 학술지의 자기 인용 비율을 확인하고 경영학뿐만 아니라 타 학문 분야에서 경영학 관련 학술지에 대한 인용이 이루어질 수 있도록 다학제적 교류와 추가 연구의 필요성을 제기하고자 한다.

본 연구는 계량서지학적 측정을 통해 국내 문헌정보학자들의 연구동향을 규명하기 위하여, 국제적으로 가장 영향력 있는 사회과학분야 학술지에 대한 대표적인 인용색인 데이터베이스인 SSCI에 게재된 논문을 대상으로 다양한 관점, 즉 저자별, 주제별, 저널별. 출신학교별, 소속대학별, 연도별, 연령별, 핵심전공주제별, 핵심저자별 및 핵심저널별로 분석하였다. 본 연구는 향후 국내 문헌정보학의 국제화 및 이에 따른 연구방향을 제시하는데 유용할 것으로 본다.

Convergence science research is activated, and digital humanities research is also encouraged in humanities. Therefore, this study attempted to propose a experimental study that applies Text mining and Entitymetrics methods to historical materials. Annals of King Seonjo, revised Annals of King Seonjo, Miscellaneous Record of the War and Writings on Imjin War were used, also network analysis and DMR topic models were used to explore topic changes and common entities in historical sources. Through the results, it was possible to propose the availability of quantitative analysis for text data, presenting a timing change of a specific topic, and an undiscovered relationship between person entities.

Uncertainty in scientific knowledge means an uncertain state where propositions are neither true or false at present. The existing studies have analyzed the propositions written in the academic literature, and have conducted the performance evaluation based on the rule based and machine learning based approaches by using the corpus. Although they recognized that the importance of word construction, there are insufficient attempts to expand the word by analyzing the meaning of uncertainty words. On the other hand, studies for analyzing the structure of networks by using bibliometrics and text mining techniques are widely used as methods for understanding intellectual structure and relationship in various disciplines. Therefore, in this study, semantic relations were analyzed by applying Word2Vec to existing uncertainty words. In addition, WordNet, which is an English vocabulary database and thesaurus, was applied to perform a network analysis based on hypernyms, hyponyms, and synonyms relations linked to uncertainty words. The semantic and lexical relationships of uncertainty words were structurally identified. As a result, we identified the possibility of automatically expanding uncertainty words.

This experimental study examines informetric analysis of World Wide Web based upon cocitation analysis of Web pages and features of Web resources in the field of communication studies. Cocitation analysis is basically performed to examine the intellectual structure of the communication studies in reflecting link count on the Web. The selected Web resources in the field are mapped in two dimensions based upon the similarities of cocitation frequency, correlation matrix, mutidimensional scale and cluster analysis. Cocitation analysis methods using organizational homepage, personal homepage, or Web index, to Web produced clustering of Web resources that had topical similarities. So far, although informetric analysis of Web resources is in the preliminary stage, it shows that Web can be a new tool for indicating the intellectual structure of a specific research field. In addition, this study analyzes characteristics of printing resources and Web resources, and differences of research methods in applying cocitation analysis.

This study aims to identify and comprehensively view health information-related research trends using a bibliometric analysis. To this end, 1,193 papers from 2002 to 2023 related to "health information" were collected through the Korea Citation Index (KCI) database and analyzed in diverse aspects: research trends by period, academic fields, intellectual structure, and keyword changes. Results indicated that the number of papers related to health information continued to increase and has been decreasing since 2021. The main academic fields of health information-related research included "biomedical engineering," "preventive medicine/occupational environmental medicine," "law," "nursing," "library and information science," and "interdisciplinary research." Moreover, a co-word analysis was performed to understand the intellectual structure of research related to health information. As a result of applying the parallel nearest neighbor clustering (PNNC) algorithm to identify the structure and cluster of the derived network, four clusters and 17 subgroups belonging to them could be identified, centering on two conglomerates: "medical engineering perspective on health information" and "social science perspective on health information." An inflection point analysis was attempted to track the timing of change in the academic field and keywords, and common changes were observed between 2010 and 2011. Finally, a strategy diagram was derived through the average publication year and word frequency, and high-frequency keywords were presented by dividing them into "promising," "growth," and "mature." Unlike previous studies that mainly focused on content analysis, this study is meaningful in that it viewed the research area related to health information from an integrated perspective using various bibliometric methods.

In order to clarify the trend of study by the researchers in the field of library and information science. This study is to analyze the thesis of library and information science researchers in various aspects which is included in LISA and ISA, the representative database in library and information science. In addition, the study is to analyze the form of citation of domestic library and information science researchers by studying the citation written in the thesis of the database according to the classification of form and nationality. The study made a conclusion that the journal is most frequent]y cited regarding forms, which is expected to promote the internationalization of library and information science and indicate the direction of our study in the future.

Ciatation analysis is a information analysis method based on the phenomenon of citing previous documents in the source document. There are many well-known studies exploring citation analysis and it applications. This paper does not attempt to review this extensive area of applications, but to demonstrate the sociological aspect of citation analysis. Specifically, this paper have reviewed the citation analysis as a quantitative method for the studies of sociology of knowledge. For this, I have described various basic methods such as citation behavior, citation count, impact factor, citation relationship etc. And I have classified into four applied areas of sociology of knowledge; (1) flow of knowledge resources, (2) evaluation of knowledge resources, (3) evaluation of knowledge community, and (4) utilization in terms of knowledge policy. Finally, I have clarified the some limitations and shortcomings of citation analysis that have addressed by citation and citation analysis itself.
