The Industrial and Customer Characteristics Influencing on the CRM Effects (산업 및 고객 특성에 따른 CRM 효과 차이에 관한 연구)

  • Upon the intensive competition, companies try to hold their current customers by investing more money and efforts on CRM activities. They provide various benefits for their customer to keep them and increase their loyalty. However many companies want to know how effective their CRM activities are. In this paper, we investigate the effectiveness of companies' different CRM activities on customer perception of different benefits as well as their loyalty. For this we categorize the benefits that companies provide for their customer into four different types of customer benefits such as social customer benefits, psychological customer benefits, economic customer benefits and customization benefits. We examine the effects of different customer benefits and how different the customer benefits vary depending on the types of industries and even on the involvement level, relationship types, and customer's acceptance level of risks. We found that the CRM activities had, in general, a positive effect on customers' perception and loyalty. However, companies had better selectively concentrate their CRM activities on the most effective ones considering the involvement level, relationship types, and customer's acceptance level of risks along with the industry where they belong.

  • Interest in the development of urban trails is growing in South Korea. River front trails have been developed in Seoul, Daegu and other major cities. Such trails, and the corridors in which they are developed, often provide a myriad of benefits to the community, including open space, exercise, and stress release. This trend mirrors development patterns found in the United States and European nations. This study examined differences in trail users perceptions of trail attributes, activity participation, willingness to pay for trail access, and perceptions of trail benefits between trail users in the United States and those in South Korea. Perceptions of trail users at three trail sites in the metropolitan area of Daegu were examined, and then were compared to results reported in several studies conducted in the U. S. While this research was exploratory, it did uncover many interesting differences in perceptions of trail attributes between trail users in the two countries. This information may provide insight into the development of greenway systems in South Korea.

  • Number of vehicles in Korea is gradually increasing and it exceeded 16 million in 2007. Holding of vehicles is connected to disposal, owing to this reason the importance of ELVs recycling has been emphasized. The recycling of ELVs makes the disposal of ELVs easier as well as protects environment and it has the alternative effect economizing the insufficient resource. This study was carried out to evaluate the economic effect of recycling of ELVs compared with disposal of ELVs. The analysis showed that recycling process makes a profit in comparison to the disposal of ELVs. Therefore the government has to consider establishing the regulation related to recycling of ELVs or materials and car manufactures have to develop the efficient dismantling and recycling methods.

  • This study is that MD-FDA and the existing method were applied together the outlet project under the construction in the Gulpo River basin. The results of both of them mot the economic feasibility of the Project. But, MD-FDA evaluated the suitable damage according to situations; 1) without project, 2) after 20m outlet construction, 3) after 80m outlet construction. That is, MD-FDA could exactly evaluate the Annual Expected Flood Damage by considering the characteristics to the inundated area. If M-FDA may use in the flood control projects, the projects will be able to be taken into account all characteristics of the total damage area and performed by reasonable criteria.

  • The objective of this study is to develop a Cost-Benefit analysis system which would help us to make optimal decision among safety investment alternatives, calculating and comparing costs and benefits for facilities in chemical plants. So, the accident frequency analysis module and the accident damage prediction module were developed for estimating quantitative risks in chemical facilities, and domestic societal risk criterion was presented after the comparative analysis of major industrial cases and societal risk criteria of advanced countries like the Netherlands, Australia, U.S.A., U.K., and Germany. Also, the Cost-Benefit Analysis System which compares the safety investment alternatives based on their deduced net present values was developed through the selection of proper cost and benefit items by field studies

  • Due to environment problems in end of Life Vehicle in the country, the interest in remanufacturing is heightened than ever. In this study, it is important to quantitatively evaluate the economic effect of the introduction of the automotive remanufacturing business and analyzed cost-benefit for the three species of bumpers, doors, fenders, which is relatively lower remanufactured automotive component. The results showed that cost-beneift of each parts were analyzed 54,000 per one part, and if remanufacturing were 50%, benefits were to occur with a profit of 226,060 won. Thus, remanufacturing of bumpers, doors, fender resulted a significant benefit, and then it is possible that remanufacturing company have enough economic value for remanufacturing.

  • 아시아지역은 경제적 침체기에서 서서히 회복되어가면서 항공교통수요 또한 경제적 위기 이전의 수준으로 회복해가고 있고 21세기의 새로운 출발과 동북아지역 국가들의 경제활동 활성화로 새로운 항공교통수요가 증대되어가고 있는 시점이다. 동북아 국가들은 자국의 경제 활성화를 위해 공항의 새로운 건설과 확장 등을 계획$.$실행해오고 있으며, 이를 통하여 동북아지역에서의 항공산업의 우위성을 확보하려하고 있다. 중국, 일본 등 우리나라와 경쟁관계에 있는 나라들이 기존 공항의 확장과 신설을 통해 경쟁력을 높이려하고 있으며, 공항의 경쟁력을 높이는데 필수적 요소 중의 하나인 외국 항공사의 유치를 위한 對항공사 마케팅을 다양하고 구체적인 방법으로 실행하고 있다. 우리나라도 2001년 동북아의 중추적인 공항의 건설과 개항을 맞이하여 이들 경쟁공항과의 경쟁에서 우위성을 확보하기 위한 하나의 방안으로서 자국 및 외국항공사의 비행편 유치에 대한 공항마케팅 측면에서의 접근이 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구는 우리나라와 지리적인 국토면적 여건이 비슷한 암스테르담 스키폴공항, 히드로공항 등의 공항들이 취하고 있는 대항공사마케팅 정책과 대항공사 유치를 위해 현재 실행하고 있는 방법들을 통해 앞으로 인천국제공항이 공항마케팅에서의 대항공사 마케팅 전략 수립시 고려 방안들을 제시하고자한다. 이에 공항마케팅의 일반적인 고찰과 외국 선진공항들의 대항공사마케팅전략을 고찰하고, 현재 인천국제공항의 경쟁공항인 동북아지역의 중국 및 일본 공항들의 현황등을 살펴보고자 한다. 마지막으로는 계량적 방법과 문헌들을 통해 여러 가지 방안들을 고려하여 인천국제공항이 실행하여야하는 대항공사마케팅전략방안을 제시하여 본 연구의 목적을 달성하려한다. 및 화물교통량의 증가를 예상하여 5%, 10%, 20%의 증가에 대한 민감도 분석을 실시한 결과 대안1의 경우 교통량의 변화 및 화물통행의 시간가치의 증가시 사회적 편익이 오히려 감소하였고, 대안2와 3의 경우 사회적 편익이 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이는 경부고속도로의 화물차량의 구성비에 따라 대안 1의 경우 오히려 화물차의 통행시간이 증가함에 그 원인이 있다 할 것이다. 이상과 같은 결론을 통하여 경부고속도로상의 화물전용차선의 설치시는 수답렬 교통량의 구성비와 구간 평균교통량에 의하여 그 효과가 다르게 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 물류비용 절감차원에서의 화물전용차선의 설치는 본 연구에서 나타낸 방법과 같이 수단간의 경제적 편익을 고려한 구간별 시간대별 효과분석을 통하여 정책의 시행여부가 결정되어야 할 것이다. 한편, 화물전용차선의 설치로 인한 물류비용의 절감을 보다 효과적으로 달성하기 위해서는 종합류류 전산망의 시급한 구축과 함께 화물차의 적재율을 높이고 공차율을 낮출 수 있는 운송체계의 수립이 필요한 것으로 판단된다. 그라나 이러한 화물전용차선의 효과는 단기적인 치유책일 수밖에 없기 때문에 물류유통 시설의 확충을 위한 사회간접자본의 구축을 서둘러 시행하여야 할 것이다.으로 처리한 Machine oil, Phenthoate EC 및 Trichlorfon WP는 비교적 약효가 낮았다.>$^{\circ}$E/$\leq$30$^{\circ}$NW 단열군이 연구지역 내에서 지하수 유동성이 가장 높은 단열군으로 추정된다. 이러한 사실은 3개 시추공을 대상으로 실시한 시추공 내 물리검층과 정압주입시험에서도 확인된다.. Cost-Benefit Analysis by Resource Recovery Facility for Municipal Waste -Focus on Gangwon Province- (생활폐기물 자원화시설의 편익분석 -강원도 중심으로-)

  • In this study, the amount of waste resource that could be recovered was analyzed. The installation and operation costs of waste resource recovery for both single- and multi-regional facility were calculated, and compared with the costs of landfill to investigate the feasibility of them. RDF(Refuse Derived Fuel) process and resource recovery by incineration process were considered as waste resource recovery facility. And, the multi-regions for cost analysis were established on the basis of the proper generation rate of municipal waste with the consideration of combustible ratio. The study results showed that single region facility for both RDF and incineration process has no economic benefit, compared with the landfill method. For the multi-regional facility, RDF process could save a large cost than the landfill method, but the incineration facility couldn't. Separate from the economic benefits, the waste resource recovery should be importantly considered when considering the depletion of fossil fuel, global warming, environmental toxicity, and the enormous expenses due to social conflict and confuse. When the CDM(Clean Development Mechanism) is vitalized in the near future, the additional economic benefits by CERs(Certified Emission Reductions) could be expected. CERs for RDF facility is corresponding to about 256.5 billion won, and CERs for incineration facility is corresponding to about 54 and 77.4 billion won for single- and multi-regional facility, respectively.

Estimation of the Monetary Loss Scale of Low-income Freight Truck Owner under the Environmental Zone (환경지역 운영에 따른 영세 화물 차주의 경제적 손실규모 추정)

  • The positive effects of the air quality improvement policy have revealed sufficiently such as 3.3 trillion won of social benefits under the Environmental Zone in five years(K. Choi, 2009). In case of low-income freight truck owner, however, could be burdened with the requirement likes emission decreasing equipment. Eventually, restraint of running in the Environmental Zone would be affected their livelihood seriously. After estimating the scale of low-income freight truck owner for three alternatives with Road Freight Transport Center data, this study calculates decreased VKT to estimate the scale of monetary loss. In the result, decreased income amount of low-income freight truck owner under the restricted running estimated 6.1 trillion won during 5 years, quite exceeding 3.3 trillion won of the positive benefits as improving air quality, which means the necessity of immediate countermeasure. In other words, even though the governmental policy aimed benefits for the majority, the result implies that the total monetary losses of the minority could be exceed against the positives, therefore analysis should be considered carefully before the policy becomes effective.

Estimating Willingness to Pay for the Tap Water Quality Improvement in Busan Using Nonparametric Approach (비모수추정법에 의한 부산시 가정용수 수질개선에 대한 지불의사액 추정)

  • The paper is to estimate willingness-to-pay (WTP) for residential water quality improvement in Busan, using non-parametric approach. There are several significant advantages of non-parametric approach, compared to parametric methods. That is, no probability distribution assumption is necessary so that there are no needs to assume or test goodness of fit, model specification and heteroscedasticity statistically. For the reliability and the validity of contingent valuation method a survey was conducted for 665 respondents, who were sampled by stratified random sampling method, by personal interview method. The result of mean WTP for residential water quality improvement in Busan was estimated to be 3,190 won to 3,331 won per month per household, while median WTP being 1,750 won. Provided that our sample is broadly representative of the Busan's population, an estimate of the annual aggregated benefit of residential water improvement for all Busan households is approximately 50.2 billion won in case of mean WTP or 27.5 billion won in case of median WTP.
