However, development of the Specialized Services in the Urban areas, Human Resource Development, Management Strengthening and Investment of Private and External Sector are also highly entertained through its Liberalization Policy. But due to, Early Marriage, Superstitious Traditional Beliefs & behavior, Poor Sanitation of living, Poverty, Illiteracy, Lack of Supervision and Monitoring, High Density population in relation to arable land and Lack of Private and External Sector Investment, the Country is still suffering from high Fertility, Malnutrition, Infectious diseases and so high Death Rates. So Primary Health Care Services should be more emphasized than before; Community Financing, Private and External Sector should be highly involved; Manpower Development and Specialized Services should be most taken care; Management Skills be more strengthened and Evaluating the previous work and avoiding the mistake for the future program implementation should be well done. If these are improved, then the health will be definitely promoted to meet the Health Target of Nepal.

  • This study examines the relationships between TMT's characteristics - international education background ratio, international job experience ratio, international related professionals ratio- and the degree of firm's internationalization. It also examines the moderating effect of independent board on those relationships. The results of multiple regression analysis show that the ratio of TMT's foreign job experience is positively related to firm's internationalization. On the other hand, both international education background ratio and international related professionals ratio do not significantly related to firm's internationalization. Regarding the moderating effects. independent boards weaken the positive relationship between TMT's foreign education background ratio and firm's internationalization. Whereas they strengthen the positive relationship between TMT's international education background ratio and firm's internationalization. The findings of this study imply that Chinese firms should consider the interaction effects between the TMT and board on their decisions of internationalization.

  • South Korean universities have the common prevalent problem of significantly declining student populations. This study aims to explore the management strategy behind how the two South Korean maritime universities (Korea Maritime and Ocean University (KMOU) and Mokpo National Maritime University (MMU)) in particular, can solve the above problem by achieving internationalization through Twinning programs, taking advantage of their specialties in shipping and shipbuilding to export South Korean maritime education overseas. Twinning programs will also allow the universities to achieve the internationalization of their management, the globalization of their students, and the strengthening of the international competitiveness of the South Korean maritime industry. To achieve the above aim, this study will conduct a literature review on the internationalization background of general domestic and foreign universities. This study will also try to grasp the reality of, the obstacles to, and the factors that will accelerate the internationalization of the South Korean maritime universities. Finally, this study will research and propose directions the South Korean maritime universities can take to achieve pragmatic internationalization that comply with the current law on the export of higher education. This will be done by exploring the current status and trend of other universities' attraction of foreign international students, the legal feasibility and activation measures of the co-operation of curricula, and the researcher's own experiences.

  • This study aims for developing an instructional design strategy to improve collaborative teaching between teacher librarians and subject teachers in library-assisted instruction. Collaborative teaching is an important management activity enhancing teaching role of teacher librarians in their school community. But in the actual condition the level of the library-assisted instruction as its practical strategy is cooperation and subject teachers are leading teaching and learning except for selecting resources. Because library-assisted instruction is resource-based learning, the procedural knowledge of information literacy curricula and topics of subject specific curricula should be designed as a whole. Also, there must be possibilities of reducing trial and error and expanding successes. From these sides, the collaborative design strategy for library-assisted instruction can be planned like 'statement of learning situation-co designing-co teaching-co evaluating'.

The countermeasures for the development ability of advanced weapon systems and secure core technologies for Korea were presented in consideration of the US third offset strategy for the future national defense environment. First, to carry out the innovation of national defense in Korea based on artificial intelligence(AI), the long-term basis strategy for the operation of the unmanned robot and autonomous weapon system should be suggested. Second, the platform for AI has to be developed to obtain the development of algorithms and computing abilities for securing the collection/storage/management of national defense data. Lastly, advanced components and core technologies are identified, which the Korean government can join to develop with the US on a basis of the Korea-US alliance, and the technical cooperation with the US should be stronger.

  • According to one Medicare report, in the US, total federal spending on health care expends almost 18 percent of the nation's GDP, about double what most industrialized nations spend on health care. And in 2011, Medicare spending reached close to $554 billion, which amounted to 21 percent of the total spent on U.S. health care in that year. Of that $554 billion, Medicare spent 28 percent, or about $170 billion, on patients' last six months of life. So what are the reasons of this high cost in EOL care and its possible solutions? Much spendings of Medicare on End-of-Life care for the terminally ill/chronically ill in the US has led health economics experts to assess the characteristics of the care. Decades of study shows that EOL care is usually supply-sensitive and poor in cost-effectiveness. The volume of care is sensitively depending on the supply of resources, rather than the severity of illness or preferences of patients. This means at the End-of-Life care, the medical resources are being overused. On the other hand, opposed to the common assumption, "The more care the better utility", the study shows that the outcome is very poor. Actually the patient preference and concerns are quite the opposite from what intense EOL care would bring about. This study analyzes the reasons for the supply-sensitiveness of EOL care. It can be resulted from the common misconception about the intense care and the outcome, physicians' mission for patients, lack of End-of-Life Care Decision which helps the patients choose their own preferred treatment intensity. It also could be resulted from physicians' fear of legal liabilities, and the management strategy since the hospitals are also seeking for financial benefits. This study suggests the possible solutions for over-treatment at the End-of-Life resulting from supply-sensitiveness. Solutions can be sought in two aspects, legal implementation and management strategy. In order to implement advance directive properly, active ethics education for physicians to change their attitude toward EOL care and more conversations about end-of-life care between physicians and patients is crucial, and incentive system for the physicians who actively have the conversations with patients will also help. Also, the general education towards the public is also important in the long run, and easy and official advance directive registry system-such as online registry-has to be built and utilized more widely. Alternative strategies in management are also needed. For example, the new strategic cost management and management education, such as cutting unnecessary costs and resetting values as medical providers have to be considered. In order to effectively resolve the problem in EOL care for the terminally ill/chronically ill and provide better experience to the patients, first of all, the misconception and the wrong conventional wisdom among doctors, patients, and the government have to be overcome. And then there should be improvements in systems and cultures of the EOL care.
