A Study on Prioritizing Sustainable Management of Social Enterprises Related to Early Childhood Education Using the AHP Method (AHP 기법을 활용한 유아교육 관련 사회적기업의 지속경영 우선순위 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the priority factors for sustainable management of social enterprises related to early childhood education. To achieve the purpose of this study, sustainable management factors were extracted by examining previous studies related to social enterprises, and the priorities of factors were derived using the AHP method after conducting surveys of those who are related to early childhood education and social enterprises. As a result of the study, the priorities of the four major factors for sustainable management of social enterprises were confirmed in the following order: strategic factors, organizational factors, management capability factors, and social environment factors. And the priorities of the 16 sub-factors were confirmed in the following order: program originality, excellence of program content, CEO's leadership, expertise in operation and education, securing information on early childhood education market, etc. This study is meaningful in that it discovered the basic success factors for the performance and sustainability of social enterprises related to early childhood education and suggested directions for establishing management strategies for social enterprises related to early childhood education.

An Effect of Education in Faith and Propensity of Managers towards Faith on Job Satisfaction (경영 이념교육과 관리자의 신념이 직무 만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore an effect of education in faith and propensity of managers towards faith on job satisfaction. We found that education in faith has a significant effect on the role conflict. Propensity of managers towards faith also influences the job satisfaction. On the other hand, Education in faith and role conflict do not have a significant effect on the job satisfaction. Conclusions and implications are discussed.

Developing a Curriculum of Management for Engineers - A Case of the C University (공학도를 위한 경영학 교과목 개발 연구 - C대학교 강좌 개발 사례)

  • It is necessary for the engineering students to have a business mind for the contemporary world of business. We developed a focused management education program for engineering students in C-University. The management education program consists of both on-line and off-line learning. ABEEK requires 720 engineering students of C-University must take basic management course. The on-line lecture was developed to overcome the shortage of qualified lecturers in business school. On-line lecture made by the business school faculty(not lecturers) can evenly provide high-quality content for every engineering students. In addition, the program is designed that off-line classes administered by lecturers complements the limitations of on-line lecture. Having in mind that selected senior engineering students understand technology and basic business, we developed an advanced course focusing on technology-oriented venture businesses. On and off-line blended learning and two-step approach of management education for engineering students of C-University may shed some light on other engineering schools in similar situation.

  • Recently the wireless internet technologies have been widely used in education environments. The purpose of this paper is to design and implement mobile class management support system. The proposed system is based on the existing CSCL theory and modified in accordance with mobile environments. The proposed system has the following characteristics. First, various types of cooperation are possible in this system. In this system, students can participate actively through tools such as BBS. Second, wired and wireless web sites are linked systematically so that users can access via either site. Two sites are complementary each other. Third, parents are encouraged to participate in class activities. Some basic information such as curriculum and daily announcement is open for parents. The proposed system has been applied to elementary school students. Extensive survey shows that the proposed system has good effect on participation, interaction, and satisfaction in class management, respectively.

  • 인터넷 사용의 일상화와 초고속통신망의 급속한 확산은 웹 기반 원격교육의 보편화를 가져왔다. 웹 기반 원격교육은 전통적 교육방식인 면대면 교육방식의 새로운 형태로써 도입되었으나 학습자와 교육자의 요구사항으로 면대면 교육방식의 대체제가 아닌 전략적 도구로써 진화하고 있다. 웹 기반 원격교육은 e러닝, e멘토링, 블렌디드러닝 등 다양한 시도가 추세이다. 이러한 시도의 공통적인 특징은 학습자, 교육자, 시스템 간의 상호작용에 대한 요구사항이 높아지고 있다는 것이다. 이 연구에서 웹 기반 원격교육의 학업성취에 영향을 미치는 변인과 웹 기반 원격교육 시스템 상호작용에 대한 조절효과를 실증 분석하였다.

  • 기업가정신의 중요성이 전 세계적으로 확산하며, 국내에서도 기업가정신 함양을 위한 다양한 형태의 교육들이 '창업교육', '기업가정신 교육', '앙트러프러너십 교육' 등 저마다의 이름과 형태로 실시되고 있다. 기업가정신 교육이 확산됨에 따라 관련 연구 또한 활발히 진행되고 있으나, 개별적인 연구결과가 일관된 결론을 도출하고 있는지는 확인되지 않았다. 아직까지 관련 연구들을 종합하여 교육 성과에 대한 통일된 결과를 제시하는 연구는 미비한 수준이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 최근 10년 동안 국내 학술지에 게재된 다수의 논문을 대상으로 메타분석과 키워드 네트워크 분석을 실시하여 기업가정신 교육 프로그램의 성과를 체계적이고 종합적으로 제시하고 관련 연구 동향을 검토하고자 한다. 본 연구를 통해 국내 기업가정신 교육의 효과성에 대한 타당하고 통일된 결론이 제시되어 기업가정신 교육 프로그램의 개선과 발전을 위한 유의미한 시사점을 제공할 수 있기를 기대한다.

The Relationship between Training Activity and Organization Performance (교육훈련활동과 기업성과의 관계)

  • An training activity within organization is main factor for creating a competitive advantage in knowledge-based economic system. Therefore the purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between training activity in organization and business performance and corporate value. Also it was analysed whether the effect of training was different between large company and small company. The major results of analysing the effect of training on organization performance are as follows. First, training activity was positively related to Tobin's Q each year. As for net income per person the effect on training was significant in 2009 and 2010 except 2008. The sales per person was significantly related in 2008 and 2009. Second, as the result of analysis of training investment on organization performance, as for large company the effect of training on business performance and corporate value was mostly significant excluding 2008' net income per person and 2010' sales per person. While as for small company all effects were not related.

  • There seems to be a little trouble in delivering an effective teaching of statistics at the school of Business. Students attitude toward the understanding of mathematics appears to be one of the hindrances encountered to the wide spread use of statistics. Nevertheless, the usefulness of statistics is notably appreciated these days although students may not be aware of it. It is true that many processes of decision-making are based on various future uncertainties, however, decisions must be made at the present. In this synopsis, we would like to solve simple business problems, thereby, suggest more constructive ways to match the statistics with the interest of management. We, in the mean time, will talk about the understanding of business, method of teaching, and Monte Carlo education.
