Analysis of Fatal Accidents in Different Project Types (프로젝트 유형별 중대재해 발생현황 비교분석)

  • This paper presents the findings that may be useful for establishing safety policies involved with safety plan, program, and control relative to fatal accidents in construction job site. The fatal accident investigation database maintained by Korean Production Household Mascot Safety Industrial Complex is accessed. The 5 years fatal accidents occurred in 2002 to 2006 were analyzed. The statistic relative to the fatal accidents in different project types is obtained using different classifications such as occupation, years of experience, accident type, and time in a day. This research would contribute to ensure the effectiveness of safety policy so as to enhance worker safety.

The status of Healthcare-associated Infection Control among Healthcare Facilities in Korea (국내 의료기관의 의료관련감염 관리 실태)

  • The purpose was to describe the state of healthcare-associated infection(HAI) control. Data were collected from 134 hospitals. The questionnaire developed by Kang[8] were modified. The mean of hospital beds was 556.4, 26.9% of hospitals were less than 300 beds. 99.3% of hospitals had infection control committee(ICC). ICC met 3.4 times a year. 54.5% of hospitals had one infection control practitioner(ICP). 95.5% of ICPs were nurse, 48.7% of ICPs had more than master's degree. Hospital experience of ICPs was 13.5 years. ICP experience was 3.2 years. 30.8% of ICPs worked for less than 1 year. All hospitals investigated HAI, 75.4% performed improvement activities. There are significant differences in existence of ICD, negative pressure room, computer program, numbers of ICPs according to hospital size. Manpower, organization, and facilities lacked in less than 300 beds. This conclusions will give baseline data to establish infection control system, manpower and practice in small-medium hospitals.

  • The aims of this work are to find the management plans for enhancing the human resource management of hospital organization with more comprehensive approach which are the types of bundles for individual activity in the same medical institution. According to the group clustering with individual system of human resource management based on the above and below average group that is the comprehensive approach of individual human resource management, some differences were shown in the types of jobs for the individual systems of human resource management used for the judgement of affiliated group. However, the system for the supply of career development opportunity and the opening of management information among the human resource management individual system was significance variable for discriminant function to all types of jobs.

The Relationships among Awareness of Patient Safety Culture, Critical Thinking Disposition and Patient Safety Nursing Activities of Nurses among Comprehensive Nursing Care Service Ward (간호·간병통합서비스병동간호사의 환자안전문화인식, 비판적 사고성향과 환자안전간호활동의 관계)

  • This study was conducted to identify the levels of patient safety culture, critical thinking disposition, and patient safety nursing activities and determine the factors affected by patient safety nursing activities among nurses in comprehensive nursing care service wards. Subjects consisted of 150 nurses from general hospitals in B city, Korea, and data were analyzed using the SPSS Win 21.0 program. The mean scores of awareness of patient safety culture, critical thinking disposition, and patient safety nursing activities were $3.32{\pm}0.32$, $3.50{\pm}0.31$, and $4.28{\pm}0.46$, respectively. The awareness of patient safety culture was significantly different by clinical career in the present unit (F=4.79, p=0.001). The critical thinking disposition was significantly different by age (F=3.89, p=0.010) and position (F=6.40, p=0.002). There were differences in the scores of patient safety nursing activities according to position (F=3.19, p=0.044). Additionally, hospital environment (${\beta}=0.25$, p=0.014), supervisor attitude (${\beta}=0.20$, p=0.046), and position (${\beta}=0.14$, p=0.040) accounted for a 44.4% variance in patient safety nursing activities. To promote patient safety nursing activities in comprehensive nursing care service wards, positive awareness of the hospital's safety environment and support from the manager are required.

  • 도입까지 시간이 걸릴 것이라고 예측됐던 건설정보모델링(BIM : Building Information Modeling, 이하 BIM)이 어느새 성큼 다양한 분야에 진입했다. 영국, 싱가포르, 미국 등 해외에서는 이미 공공사업 시 BIM을 적극적으로 활용하고 있다. 우리나라 또한 2018년 국토교통부에서 '스마트 건설기술 로드맵'을 마련한 후 공공사업에 BIM을 단계적으로 도입해왔다. 대부분의 발주기관들은 오는 2025년까지 공공사업에 BIM을 전면 도입한다는 계획이다. 성균관대학교 공과대학 건설환경공학부 및 미래도시융합공학과 교수이자 국제건설자동화학회의 종신 상임이사인 권순욱 교수는 '스마트 건설 관리' 연구자이자 국내외에서 활동 중인 CM, BIM의 권위자다. 관련 분야의 책 8권과 100편 이상의 논문을 집필하고 30여 개의 특허·소프트웨어 등록을 보유하고 있다. 텍사스 오스틴 대학교 토목공학 박사 출신으로, 삼성물산, 한국건설기술연구원 등 일반 기업과 국가기관에서 실무와 이론을 두루 경험하며 경력을 쌓았다. 건설연구개발사업, 첨단 융복합 건설기술 등 다수의 국가 건설 R&D에 참여해 초고층 자재, 안전 모니터링, BIM 프로세스 표준개발 등의 시스템을 개발하기도 했다. 해외 연구자들과의 교류에도 적극적이다. 세계 석학들과 '노령 공학' 관련 영문교과서를 공동 집필(스마트주택 챕터 담당)했고, 2016년과 2019년엔 국제건설자동화학회와 국제프로젝트관리학회의 연사 자격으로 강단에 섰다. "영국, 싱가포르 등에선 공공사업을 100% BIM으로 발주하기 시작했습니다. 우리나라 정부도 비슷한 길을 가고 있습니다. 일정 규모의 발주 물량이 안정적으로 나오는 공공기관에서 그렇게 한다는 것은 국가가 전체 패러다임을 바꾸겠다는 의지 아닐까요?" 6월 10일 그의 연구실에서 권순욱 교수를 만나 BIM의 현황과 전망에 대해 들어봤다.

Analysis of Perception Factors Affecting Students' Satisfaction with the Cosmetology Education of a Cyber University (사이버대학 미용 교육 만족도에 미치는 인식 요인 분석)

  • This study attempted to derive the sub-factors for the perception of cosmetology education affecting satisfaction of students with the cosmetology education and analyze their effects on career choice through a questionnaire survey against a total of a total of 120 people who had taken the cyber university cosmology lecture previously. For cosmetology education perception factors, four predictive variables (educational environment, operating system, curriculum and lecture management) and one variable regarding educational satisfaction were derived and used as analysis tools. The purpose of education by academic major was the acquisition of license and theory & practice education in hairdressing and skin care, respectively. Students showed more interest in hairdressing lectures as they had little work experience and in skin care lectures when they had extensive work experience (p<0.01). Correlation was found between the four education perception-related sub-regions and satisfaction with education (p<0.01). In particular, curriculum and lecture management had a positive effect on satisfaction with education with statistical significance. As the perception of lectures increased, students were more satisfied with cosmetology education (p<0.001). In addition, academia-industry cooperation, career analysis, cosmetology lectures and school had influence on career choice. This study found several issues such as difficult curriculum and poor communication, and it appears that it is necessary to develop a better communication plan and new educational lectures by career and stage.

An Analysis of Extra-Curricular Activities in Childcare Facilities and the Factors Affecting on Expenses of Extra-Curricular Activities (육아지원기관의 특별활동 이용 현황 및 지출 결정요인 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting extra expenses incurred by extracurricular activities, prompted by the problem that the financial burden on households for their children's education and child-care is not showing enough signs of being mitigated, despite increased child-care subsidies from the government. Data for this study was obtained from the 4th Panel Study on Korean Children of Korea Institute of Child Care and Education. The analysis of the study shows that 68.5% of the surveyed children were participating in extracurricular activities and the average number of extracurricular activities they took part in was 2.9. The average extracurricular expenditure was 50.000 won. However, based on the findings of the survey, it was statistically significant to find that the number of extracurricular activities the children participated in and the expenditure the households spent on them varied by area. Variables were inserted in a gradual manner in identifying factors influencing households' expenditure on children's extracurricular activities. The results showed that amongst the variables used, the education level of the mother, the employment status of the mother, the type of the child-care support institution, and the household's place of residence featured prominently, with the place-of-residence factor accounting for most of the reason why a household spent the amount it did. The outcome of the study bears four policy implications: First, there is a need for a specific evaluation of the contents and costs of extracurricular activities and supervision and management of such activities. Second, it is necessary for the central government to provide a specific criteria of necessary expense. Third, throughout the child support agency, the courses and costs of special activities should be monitored regularly. Fourth, there should be extracurricular activity support for underprivileged children.

Related Factors of Musculoskelectal Symptoms in University Hospital Workers (대학병원 보건의료인의 근골격계 증상 관련요인)

  • This study is to identify the related factors of musculoskeletal symptoms in university hospital workers. The subjects were 313 workers who were working at a university hospital. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, logistic regretion using the SPSS/PC 21.0 program. The results showed that 201 respondents(64.2%) had musculoskelectal pain. According to a survey of musculoskeletal pain in body parts, the shoulder was the most common region; 37% of the health-workers(116 respondents). Musculoskeletal pain are more common in health-workers under 35 years old or work more than 6 years, or have more physical burden. In conclusion, health-workers need more active health care such as planning a preventive activity and stretching during work in order to prevent the deterioration of musculoskeletal symptoms into diseases.

충북지역 보건진료원이 업무 분석적 연구

  • 본 연구는 보건진료원의 업무를 분석하기 위하여 충북에서 활동하고 있는 보건진료원 136 명을 대상으로, 설문지를 흥해 자료수집을 하였으며 백분률, 평균값, 표준편차로 자료처리를 하였다. 조사기간은 1968 년 8월 1일부터 11월 20일까지 했으며 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 보건진료원의 일반적 특성과 업무에 관련 된 배경을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 보건진료원의 일반적 특성으로 연령 분포는 30 - 34세가 30.1 %로 가장 많았고 결혼 상태는 기혼자가 61.8 % 였다. 종교는 기독교가 42.6% 로 많았고 학력은 3 년제 간호전문대학 과정졸업 자가 78.9 %로 많았다. 현 가족과 동거상태에서 배우자와 자녀가 함께 사는 경우가 76.5% 였고, 보건진료원의 경력은 1 년 마만이 41.2 %로 가장 많았다. 보건진료원의 업무에 관련된 배경을 살펴보면, 근무지역조건은 갑지가 65.3 % 였고, 현 거주지는 보건진료소내 숙소가 대다수 였다. 보건진료소는 신축된 건물이 대다수였고, 보건진료소 시설은 '그저 그렇다'고 대답한 수가 가장 많았다. 보건진료소 운영협의회 수당은 월 $5\sim7$만원인 경우가 85.6 % 였다. 2. 보건진료원의 보건의료제공 실태는 다음과 같다. 보건진료원이 현재 담당하는 주민수는 $501\sim1,000$ 명이 35.3 % 이고, 1,500 명 이상의 주민을 담당하는 경우도 32% 였다. 보건진료소를 이용한 주만은 연평균 1,956 명이고, 보건진료소 평균 이용건수는 1,812건이다. 보건진료원의 직업만족도는 만족한다가 40.6%로 대체로 긍정적으로 나타났다. 3. 보건진료원과 보건의료 관련기관과의 관계는 다음과 같다. 지역주민의 보건의료자원 이용 정도는 보건소 진료소가 1 위로 가장 많았고, 약국, 약방, 의원, 보건지소의 순위로 나타났다. 보건의료 관련기관과의 협조가 잘 되고 있지 않다고 응답한 경우도 있는데, 보건소(19.7 %), 보건지소( 20.2%) 민간보건 의료기관(22.4 %)이며, 그 이유를 알아서 협조가 잘 이루어지도록 노력해야겠다. 원하는 감독체계는 보건소장(47.3 %), 보건간호 전문가(37.2 %)로 나타났으나 이는 현재있는 감독체제내에서 생각한 것이며 간호전문가에 의한 새로운 감독체제를 원하고 있었다. 많이 이용하는 의뢰 기관은 병원(52 %), 의원(24.4 %), 보건소(10.2 %) 순이었다. 4. 보건진료원의 업무 영역별 수행정도를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 보건진료원의 업무 영역을 7개 영역으로 구분하여 수행평균 평점을 보면통상질환 관리가 3.70점, 사업운영 관리 및 지도가 3.44 점, 사업계획 수립이 3.19 점, 지역사회 조직 및 개발이 3.17 점, 모자보건 및 가족계획이 3.14 점, 지역사회 보건관리가 3.09 점, 보건 정보체계 개발이 3.02 점으로 나타났다. 위의 결과에서 지역사회 보건관리가 3.09점으로 통상질환 관리 3.70 점 보다 낮게 나타났는데 이는 일차보건의료 사업 정착의 과도기적인 현상으로 생각하며, 이 부분을 더 많이 수행해야 할 것으로 사려된다. 5. 보건진료원의 업무 영역별 수행 소요시간의 평균은 다음과 같다. 지역사회 조직 및 개발 3.48 시간, 사업계획 수립 3.55 시간, 지역사회보건 관리 6.74 시간, 모자보건 및 가족계획 5.55 시간, 통상잘환 관리 15.94시간, 사업운영 관리 및 지도 4.39시간, 보건정보체계 3.62 시간으로 나타났다. 보건진료원이 통상질환 관리와 더불어 예방활동을 효율적으로 할 수 있도록 적절한 행정적, 교육적 지원이 있어야 한다고 생각한다.

School Experiences and the Next Gate Path : An analysis of Univ. Student activity log (대학생의 학창경험이 사회 진출에 미치는 영향: 대학생활 활동 로그분석을 중심으로)

  • The period at university is to make decision about getting an actual job. As our society develops rapidly and highly, jobs are diversified, subdivided, and specialized, and students' job preparation period is also getting longer and longer. This study analyzed the log data of college students to see how the various activities that college students experience inside and outside of school might have influences on employment. For this experiment, students' various activities were systematically classified, recorded as an activity data and were divided into six core competencies (Job reinforcement competency, Leadership & teamwork competency, Globalization competency, Organizational commitment competency, Job exploration competency, and Autonomous implementation competency). The effect of the six competency levels on the employment status (employed group, unemployed group) was analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the difference in level between the employed group and the unemployed group was significant for all of the six competencies, so it was possible to infer that the activities at the school are significant for employment. Next, in order to analyze the impact of the six competencies on the qualitative performance of employment, we had ANOVA analysis after dividing the each competency level into 2 groups (low and high group), and creating 6 groups by the range of first annual salary. Students with high levels of globalization capability, job search capability, and autonomous implementation capability were also found to belong to a higher annual salary group. The theoretical contributions of this study are as follows. First, it connects the competencies that can be extracted from the school experience with the competencies in the Human Resource Management field and adds job search competencies and autonomous implementation competencies which are required for university students to have their own successful career & life. Second, we have conducted this analysis with the competency data measured form actual activity and result data collected from the interview and research. Third, it analyzed not only quantitative performance (employment rate) but also qualitative performance (annual salary level). The practical use of this study is as follows. First, it can be a guide when establishing career development plans for college students. It is necessary to prepare for a job that can express one's strengths based on an analysis of the world of work and job, rather than having a no-strategy, unbalanced, or accumulating excessive specifications competition. Second, the person in charge of experience design for college students, at an organizations such as schools, businesses, local governments, and governments, can refer to the six competencies suggested in this study to for the user-useful experiences design that may motivate more participation. By doing so, one event may bring mutual benefits for both event designers and students. Third, in the era of digital transformation, the government's policy manager who envisions the balanced development of the country can make a policy in the direction of achieving the curiosity and energy of college students together with the balanced development of the country. A lot of manpower is required to start up novel platform services that have not existed before or to digitize existing analog products, services and corporate culture. The activities of current digital-generation-college-students are not only catalysts in all industries, but also for very benefit and necessary for college students by themselves for their own successful career development.
