Objectives : The objective of this study is to report the effect of foot orthosis on by observing 3 clinical case studies. Methods and Results : We investigated for the changes in Cobb's angle and pelvic height by using the standing full X-ray. After application of foot orthosis, Cobb's angle and pelvic height was reduced in cases. We treated 2 cases with only Foot Orthosis, 1 case with Foot Orthosis and Korean Medicine therapy. Conclusions : This study showed that foot orthosis can be effective way on nonstructural scoliosis and statistics study should be followed.

I studied connection between meridians and Dianxian(癲癎, Epilepsy). Dianxian is caused by Feun(風) based on the Blood-Deficiency(血虛) which is induced by Heart-deficiency(心虛). Therefore, when Heart and blood are in deficient condition(心血虛), Heart meridian(心經) and Pericardium meridian(心包經) can be easily affected by Feng(風), which is main cause of Dianxian. Furthermore, Liver heat(肝熱) is another main cause of Dianxian. It shows along Liver meridian(肝經) and affects Pericardium Meridian(心包經). Heart, Pericardium and Liver are main organs of human psychoconscious activities, and also are main pathological organs of Dianxian. Dianxian progresses in several ways and simtoms of Dianxian are variant according to the deficiency-exess state(虛實) of Stomach and Spleen meridians(脾胃經). So, I concluded that controling Heart, Pericardium, Liver, Stomach and Spleen meridians can make therapeutical effects on Dianxian. So I report it for the better treatment, and it shoud need further study.

To address the need for new intelligent sensing of systems, this study presents a novel strain sensor based on peizoresistivity of carbon nanotube (CNT) and its nanocomposites. Fabrication and characterization of the carbon nanocomposite material are discussed and an electrical model of the CNT strain sensor was derived based on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy analysis and strain testing. The dynamic response of the sensor on a vibrating beam was simulated using numerical analysis and it was compared with experimental test. The simulation showed good agreement with the strain response of the actual sensor.

Four strains of Pseudomonas putida (NAH), Pseudomonas sp.(TOL), Achromobacter xylosoxidans, and Alcaligenes sp. were compared with their degradative capability of aromatic compounds. All of the bacterial strains were utilized catechol as a sole carbon source for growth, but signigicantly different in degradative properties for 5 other aromatic compounds. Catechol 2, 3-dioxygenase gene from P. putida (NAH) has been cloned and expressed in E. coli. The DNA clone designated pCNU101 contains NAH-derived 6 Kb insert and its physical map was characterized. A subclone (pCNU106) for the catechol dioxygenase gene in pCNU101 contained 2.0kb-DNA insery fragmented by HpaI and ClaI.

엘크 사슴고기(Elk deer, Cervus elaphus andadensis)에서 생산된 등심(T1)과 뒷다리살(T2)에 대한 품질 특성을 파악코자 실시되었으며 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. T2가 T1보다 수분 함량은 낮고, 단백질 함량은 높았으며, 전단가는 낮고 보수력은 높았다. 육색 측정 결과 T1 및 T2간 명도, 적색도, 황색도 모두 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 조직특성 조사에서 경도, 부착성, 검성 및 파쇄성은 유의적인 차이가 있었으나, 응집성과 탄력성은 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 지방산 분석결과, SFA와 UFA는 두 부위 간 유의적인 차이가 없었으나 EFA는 T1이 유의적으로 높았다.

Effects of cheungho aqua-acupuncture at gansoo$(BL_{18})$ and illweul$(GB_{14})$ on plasma lipid composition were investigated in rat fed high fat diet. Body weight gain showed a tendency to decrease in aqua-acupuncture groups and in aqua-acupuncture groups, gansoo and illweul join aqua-acupuncture group showed a lower values than other aqua-acupuncture groups. Concentrations of plasma triglyceride, free fatty acids, lipoprotein and glucose showed a tendency to decreasea in the aqua-acupuncture groups. However in aqua-acupuncture groups, these values showed no significantly different. In plasma lipid composition, total cholesterol and LDL- cholesterol showed a tendency to decrease in aqua-acupuncture groups, however the values of LDL-cholesterol showed no significantly different in the aqua-acupuncture groups. HDL-cholesterol concentration showed a tendency to increase in aqua-acupuncture groups and in aqua-acupuncture groups, gansoo aqua-acupuncture group showed a high value.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to identify the clinical effects of auricular acupuncture in the treatment of dysmenorrhea. Methods : Auricular acupuncture treatments were prescribed to 29 dysmenorrhea patients 1 time a week for 13 weeks. Results : After the treatment, numerical index for the pain was obviously reduced 'tot' point 2.61. It means that pain index as the patient has difficulty in daily life was reduced to 2 grades enough to do ordinary experience. Conclusions : This study shows that auricular acupuncture treatment has remarkable effects on dysmenorrhea.

Objectives : Developmental disorder include every disorder that obstruct functional developments. For example, Mental Retardation, Autism, Developmental Academic Skill Disorder, Developmental Language Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Tic Disorder(Tourette's Disorder), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Brain injury etc. Methods : Chinese medical circles study herbs, acupuncture and cooperate Western medicine for treat the Developmental disorder variety. So, we research Chinese and Korean Medical Journal from 1990 to 2003, choose the Acupuncture Therapy. Results : Acupuncture Therapy include head needling, body acupuncture, ear-acupuncture therapy, therapy of point injection. By these ways control brain, the brain's marrow, liver, kidney, heart and treat the developmental disorder effective.

Object of this study is as follows. We check on obesity mentioned in and consider the results with an analysis. And then, We offer Obesity's Acupuncture & Moxibustion Therapy with a base by the results and We confirmed the follows by the results of this study. tells that obesity reduces a life and causes a disease. said that Acupuncture & Moxibustion Therapy was effective on a treatment of Obesity.

괴화약침액이 간세포의 quinone reductase, glutathione S-transferase 와 환원형 glutathione의 활성에 미치는 영향을 살펴 본 결과 괴화약침액은 암예방 효소인 Phase II enzyme을 유의성 있게 증가 시켰다. 따라서 괴화약침액은 암예방에 효과가 있는 것으로 사료된다.
