The Parks'landscape lighting at night influences people's visual comfort, safety and so on. So, this study aims to suggest new lighting plan in Han Kang(river) Parks for improving the city beautification in Seoul. Therefore, field survey was performed in two parks. And The lighting fixtures ware investigated, and horizontal illuminations were measured by Topcon-IM5 to compare with the Korea Standard Some findings and problems were discussed. As a result, to improve the lighting quantity and duality of the concept, light source lighting fixtures and installation were suggested, and the scenes of suggested lighting plan ware indicated by computer graphics.

The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between physical characteristics and general people's perception. In this study, the physical quantities of artificial lighting were measured from the visual point of the pedestrian and general public perception including preference and satisfaction was examined. As a result of this study, the total luminance and mean luminance had different value in each site. However, there were no significant differences in area and number of light source between sites. The effects of these factors are affected by indoor lighting. In the group of respondents, 10s people, male, students, meeting, 1~2 times a month and 18:00~20:00 had higher satisfaction compared to other groups respectively. A total luminance and mean luminance gave effect on the satisfaction of physical quantities of artificial lighting and the satisfaction on night landscape. With increase in total luminance and mean luminance, the satisfaction was lowered. It is necessary to reflect these factors on the future policies of nightscape.

최근 야간 경관조명의 설치가 늘어나면서 조명 시뮬레이션에 Lightscape를 적용하는 사례가 증가하고 있는 추세이다. Lightscape는 현재 조명 시뮬레이션에 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 소프트웨어로서 조명설계에 따른 조도와 휘도 분포를 계산할 수 있으며, 에니메이션이 가능하다. 에니메이션은 Radiosity를 사용한 화면은 물론 photorealistic한 고화질의 Raytrace영상이 가능하다. 본 보고서에서는 최근 건축물이나 구조물의 설계입찰시에 조명 시뮬레이션은 물론이고 에니메이션 파일의 제출요구가 증가하고 있는 점을 감안하여 Lightscape의 에니메이션 기능을 Learning Lightscape를 중심으로 설명하고 상세한 설명이 요구되는 곳은 Lightscape User's Guide를 발췌하여 소개한다. 또한, 본문의 내용은 Lightscape을 사용하는 것을 전제로 하고 있으므로 "3. 에니메이션 생성" 부분부터는 컴퓨터에서 직접 실행해 볼것을 추천한다.

The light of lighthouse as aids to navigation has been using filament with incandescent bulb so heat is being changed to light. More and More, LED leading lights, LED lantern, LED concrete main structure, LED bulb which have advantages of low power consumption and longer durability, what we call radiating diode, will lead the market in few years.

1987년 창립이래 전자식안정기 규격제정 및 신기술 개발의 선두주자로 업계의 발전과 조명산업의 발전을 위해 노력하고 있는 (주)중앙엔룩스의 안정수 대표이사를 찾아가 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 인터뷰의 서두에서 안대표는 "최근 수년사이 야경을 밝히는 조명 및 청계천 경관조명과 각 산업분야에 사용되는 특수조명 등을 보면 조명사업의 향후 발전 가능성은 무한히 큰 분야라고 생각된다"며, 조명 산업의 발전가능성과 그 가능성을 (주)중앙엔루그가 이끌어 가겠다는 포부를 밝혔다.

The study is to analyze the surface luminance of the illuminated bridges according to the change of view point using luminance measurements with instrument CS-100 and ProMetric 1400. For the purpose the illuminated bridges of the structure type were sleceted. Also, the view points were classified the three types which are a perspective view, a building view, a driver view. The luminance of the surrounding sky, surface of river, upper structure or bridge, girder side, and pier or the objects was measured. As a result of this study, The Kwangjin and Dongho Bridge showed the luminance distribution of a perspective view was high. And the Olympic and Dongjac bridge the luminance distribution of building view was high. The luminance effect of the girder bridge that has no upper structure was distinguished for the perspective view, and the cable-stayed girder bridge and the arch bridge were characterized as the building view.

As South Korea is a mountainous topography, installation of tunnel is essential for construction of expressway in straight lines. According to "2019 Road Bridge and Tunnel Status Report", there are 2,682 tunnels in Korea with total length of 2,077km. Tunnels take up 1.9% of total road length and the number of tunnel increased by 94% with 1,300 newly constructed tunnels over the 10 years. According to domestic and foreign researches, a long tunnel over 1km in expressway has dark lightings and monotonous wall design which decrease driver's concentration and make the driver feel bored. This leads to feeling fatigue and drowsiness more easily. In response, Korea Expressway Corporation installed design lighting that increases attentiveness on 10 tunnels with total length over 3km by 2020. To reduce the risks of accident that may happen inside the tunnel, this study conducted a comparative analysis on characteristics of each type of LED landscape lighting installed inside the expressway tunnel. The study aimed on providing the basic material for effective installation of LED landscape lighting for securing driving stability, reducing fatigue, and lowering the risk of drowsiness.

It is an attempt to suggest the standard valuation method of the environmental illumination for the bridges across the Han-river from an aesthetic point of view, deviating from the technical and traditional viewpoint. In Korea the current evaluation criterion to verify the value of bridge design has a partiality for the technical and structural safety rather than the sentient beauty on the whole. However, the recently cultural reform of Korean mass society with the elevation of the standard of living forces the engineering designers for bridges to focus not only on competing physical structures but also on enhancing the formative beauty including the illumination effects for night view. Additionally, the new policy, which transforms the environments around the Han-river into the major tourist attractions has been executing strongly by the city authorities to revitalize the symbolic, historic, and cultural identity of the capital city with the introduction of the high-quality environmental illumination for the bridges. As a result, It becomes necessary to establish the manual and standardization of the environmental illumination planning for the city in terms of the formative beauty, and this study is to suggest the valuation model method of the environmental illumination for the bridges as the initial step of the standardization. In the study, the valuation items of the standard questionnaire are selected by the documentary records and the consultation of various experts in architecture, design, fine art, urban planning and even administration to verify the essential elements of the aesthetic beauty with the local amenity and the environmental harmony for the chosen bridges across the Han-river.

Light has been an essential part of human life. The advancement of technology has changed cities' nightscape and night activities in a drastic way. Lighting has influenced the identity of a city while promoting a variety of civic nighttime cultural pursuits, yet lighting design has not been considered adequately in the field of landscape architecture. This study aims to analyze the current status of lighting in urban parks through interviews with professionals, literature and regulation reviews, analysis of design documents and a field survey focused on Yeouido Park in Seoul. The findings and improvement directions are as follows. First, it is necessary to develop a specific lighting design method in order to avoid a marginalized, passive approach such as light fixture installation. Second, the existing standards of illuminance by KS A 3011 regulating only horizontal illuminance has turned out not to evaluate the current nightscape of urban parks properly. Therefore the criteria and guideline for analysis and design for nightscape should be articulated. Third, there are no design or management strategies to consider the changing landscape of urban parks, which is necessary due to the changing characteristics of park ecosystems. Lastly, detailed guidelines for distinguished spaces in urban parks should be studied and suggested.
