Selected Factors Associated with Formal and Informal Learning During the First Pregnancy (첫 임신 동안 정규와 비정규 학습과 관련되는 선택된 요소들)

  • 목적: 현 연구는 6-12주된 첫 아기를 둔 여성 152명을 대상으로 첫 임신기간 동안 참여했던 정규와 비정규 학습활동의 정도와 범위를 알아보기 위해 시행된 것이다. 설계와 방법: 연구를 위한 정보수집을 위해 다측면의 자가선택 연구도구를 사용하였고 4가지 구성개념을 측정하였다: 독립변수로 학습에 대한 성향, 학습을 위한 사회적 지지, 임신에 대한 기대, 그리고 종속변수로서 첫 임신 동안 정규와 비정규 학습활동의 참여정도. 또한 일반적 특성으로는 6가지 변수(연령, 인종, 결혼상태, 교육정도, 직업유무, 가족의 수입)를 측정하였다. 3개의 독립변수와 1개의 종속변수사이의 이변량관계를 측정하기 위해 단순회귀분석을 시행하였다. 일반적 특성과 종속변수와의 관계는 t-Test, Point Biserial, Spearman Correlation Coefficients를 이용해 조사하였고 임신 중 학습을 위한 설명적 모델을 유도하기 위해 다중회귀분석을 사용하였다. 결과: 연구결과 3가지 이변량관계가 모두 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다: 학습에 대한 성향($r^2$=.17, p=.001), 사회적 지지($r^2$=.27, p=.0001), 그리고 기대($r^2$=.17, p=.0001). 교육정도와 결혼상태는 강한 설명력을 가졌고 연령, 인종, 직업유무와 가족의 수입은 통계적으로 유의하였으나 설명력이 약한 변수들이었다. 임상과의 관계: 이러한 결과는 임신 동안 여성의 학습욕구를 만족시키기를 바라는 성인대상의 교육자들 만큼이나 건강관리제공자들을 위한 실제적인 관련성을 보여주고 있으며 또한 중요한 생활사인 임신 동안 자발적인 학습을 하려는 성인을 이해하기 위한 이론적으로 유용한 모델을 제공한다.

Self-Esteem, Body Image and Factors Influencing on Depression of Infertile Women (난임여성의 자아존중감, 신체상과 우울에 미치는 영향요인)

  • This purpose of this study was to investigate self-esteem, body image and depression in infertile women and to identify factors influencing depression. There were statistically significant difference in self-esteem on variables such as age, education, occupation, pressure of treatment cost. There were statistically significant difference in body image on variables such as period of marriage, education, pressure of treatment cost. There were statistically significant difference in depression on variables such as age, education, family structure, pressure of treatment cost. Self-esteem was positively correlated with body image(r=.688, p=.000). Depression was negatively correlated with self-esteem(r=-.710, p=.000) and body image(r=-.526, p=.000). Factors influencing depression were self-esteem(b=-0.66, p=.000), Living with parents-in-law(b=-7.92, p=.001), and age over 40 years(b=-1.72, p=.033), which explained 63.5%.

A study about cultural sensitivity and stereotype about immigrant women among general hospital nurses in Chungcheong area (일 지역 종합병원 간호사의 문화적 민감성과 결혼이주여성에 대한 고정관념)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the cultural sensitivity and stereotype about immigrant women among hospital nurses. Method: Data were collected using convenient sampling from Dec. 2012 to Mar. 2013. Subjects were 122 nurses who have worked at general hospital located in Chungchoeng area. Result: The mean age of subjects was 33.85 years old. Average working period was 8.28 years. 67.2% of subjects had have experiences to travel abroad, and most of them were short travel within 1 month. 94.3% of subjects had no experience of multi-cultural education and many subjects(73%) reported that multi-cultural education was needed. On the other hand, 88.5% of them met immigrant women at their work places. So nurses were confronted with foreign patients without proper education. Conclusion: It suggested that to prepare for the coming era of globalization, an educational programs that increase the cultural sensitivity of nurses should be developed.

The Convergent effect of Resilience, and Organizational Culture on Well-being in General hospital Nurses (종합병원 간호사의 회복력과 조직문화가 웰빙에 미치는 융복합적 영향)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of resilience and organizational culture on well-being in general hospital nurses. The data were collected from 188 nurses working at a general hospital from $1^{st}-30^{th}$ September 2017. The research tools were the resilience, organizational culture, and well-being. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. The result showed that the difference in well-being relating to general characteristics were significant age, marital status, position, and career. It was found that resilience, organizational culture, and well-being were all significantly correlated, and that the factors affecting well-being included resilience, task-oriented cultures, relation-oriented cultures, and marital status. There is a need for a strategy to enhance nurses' resilience and aid in the development of a sound organizational culture that could help them effectively adapt to changes. This will not only improve nurses' health but also have a positive impact on patients and nursing organizations.

A Study on the Family Strength and the Career Maturity of High School Students (고등학생의 가족건강성과 진로성숙도에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to identify family strength and career maturity, and to explore the difference of career maturity according to family strength, targeting high school students as subjects. A total of 1,000 copies of the questionnaire were distributed and 858 copies were used for the final analysis. The major results are summarized as follows: In respect to general tendency of family strength and career maturity, the score of family respect was the highest, 3.59, followed by 3.56 of gratitude and affection, 3.54 of problem shooting ability, economic stability, faithfulness to role, emotional bond, positive communication and goal sharing. The score of emotional bond with society was the lowest, 2.90. The score of family strength was 3.36, which was the intermediate level. As sub-factors of career maturity, the score of relevancy was 3.40, and that of tendency was 3.17, followed by that of independence and compromise. The score of determination was the lowest, 2,75. A total score of career maturity was 3.05. Family strength was marked highly by the girls students studying humanities, and religious ones. Those whose parents have high education and no-divorce background also showed high scores. High school students with higher economic levels and long-married parents showed higher scores than high school students with poor economy levels and single parents. Students with parents who have professional jobs also marked high scores. Career maturity degree as a background variable was significantly higher in the following cases: In terms of religious background, students whose mother are buddhists or atheists marked high scores. High scores were marked by those whose parents have higher education and no-divorce background. High school students from middle class and over and long-married parents showed higher career maturity degree than high school students with poor economy levels and single parents. Students with parents who have professional jobs also marked high career maturity degree. While career maturity degree, which is subjected to family strength, showed very different results when analysed with 5 sub-variables. As family strength resulted in positive effects to career maturity degree, higher family strength showed higher career maturity degree. Especially, in the areas of relevance and tendency of career maturity degree, the effects of positiveness was clearly high.

Relationship Between Oral Contraceptive Use and Periodontal Disease in Korean Women (제4기 국민건강영양조사 자료에 근거한 한국 여성의 경구피임약 복용과 치주질환의 관련성)

  • This study aims to evaluate the influence of oral contraceptive(OC) on periodontal disease. Research data was used the results derived from the Fourth Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(KNHANES), and 1,101 Korean women, aged 19 to 50 years with non-pregnant and premenopausal, were selected. The chi-square test and logistic regression analysis were performed to identify the relationship between OC use and periodontal disease, according to factors of demographic and socioeconomic, oral health behavior, OC use period, and periodontal status. In the results, OC use was statistically related with age, marital status and smoking. No significant differences were found in between the gingival condition and current OC use. The prevalence of periodontal disease increased with age, but did not have significant correlations with period of OC usage, smoking and oral health behavior. Final analysis was indicated that OC use is not associated with periodontal disease, regardless of adjustment for confounding variables.

Influencing Factors on Health Behavior Compliance in Men Who Underwent Percutaneous Coronary Intervention: Focusing on the Elapsed Period (관상동맥중재술을 받은 남성의 건강행위 이행에 미치는 영향요인: 경과기간을 중심으로)

  • This study is a descriptive study to understand the effect on the health behavior compliance of men who got coronary intervention, focusing on the elapsed period. The subjects of this study were 249 men who underwent coronary intervention at a university hospital, and the collected data were analyzed using Stepwise multiple regression. As a result of the study, the influencing factors the implementation of healthy behaviors were self-regulation(β=0.35, p<.001), risk factors among educational request(β=-0.26, p<.001), and the elapsed period(β=0.19, p<.001), marital status(β=0.15, p=.001), educational level(β=-0.12, p=.035), and the total explanatory power was 29.1%. IIn order to increase the health behavior performance of male patients who underwent coronary intervention, it is necessary to develop a program that can strengthen the autonomous motivation of subjects with high severity and elapsed time of less than 1 year and more than 1 year.

A Study on the Factors Affecting the Period of Job Maintenance of Persons with Cerebral Palsy (뇌성마비인의 직업유지기간에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify through empirical analysis about factors affecting the period of job maintenance of workers with cerebral palsy. Based on this, workers with cerebral palsy are looking for ways to maintain their job continuously. For this purpose, this study identifies the general characteristics and verify the affect of demographic factors, disability-related factors, employment-related factors, and social environment factors on the job maintenance period of workers with cerebral palsy. For the analysis, frequency analysis, descriptivel analysis, T-test and One-way Anova was conducted for 233 persons with cerebral palsy. The results of the study, of 17 variables of the four factors affecting the job maintenance period, 15 variables obtained statistically significant results. First, the demographic variables were age, household income, marital status, and education level. Second, the disability-related variables were disability grade, disability cause, and communication ability. Third, the employment-related variables were wage, employment type, disability-related organizations and companies, job type, job training, and qualification. Fourth, the social environment variables were assistive technology devices, and labor support personnel services.

A Study on the Influential Factors of the Dental Hygienist's Professionalism (치과위생사의 전문직업성에 관한 영향요인 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the professionalism of dental hygienists in dental institutions and the influential factors for their professionalism in an attempt to seek ways of enhancing the professionalism of dental hygienists. The subjects in this study were 172 dental hygienists who worked in dental institutions in Busan and Gimhae. A self-administered survey was conducted to gather data, and an experimental analysis was carried out to analyze the collected data. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, concerning professionalism, self-regulation belief(3.70) ranked highest(3.42), followed by service belief(3.65), autonomy belief(3.31), a sense of vocational calling(3.30) and utilization of the professional organization as a standard(3.12). Second, the professionalism of the dental hygienists was significantly better when their title was higher, when they were older, when they got a larger monthly pay and when they intended to work for a longer time. Third, as for the influential factors for their professionalism, age, marital status, the estimated term of working at the workplace and opinion on reemployment were also identified as the significant variables that were up to the standard level of significance(p=0.05). The findings of the study suggest that in order to boost the professionalism of dental hygienists, it's required to take institutional measures to give them more responsibility, autonomy and authority, and how to improve personnel administration by providing strong motivation for them to look at their workplaces more favorably and keep on working for a long time should discreetly be considered.

Change in Fertility Rates in Korea: Causes and Future Prospect (최근 한국사회의 출산율 변화원인과 향후 전망)

  • 최근 한국사회에서는 출산율의 저하로 인한 사회경제적 영향을 우려하여 대책방안을 강구하여야 한다는 논의가 증대되고 있다. 그런데 국가정책을 개발${\cdot}$추진하기 이전에 반드시 요구되는 것은 저출산 현상의 올바른 인식과 철저한 원인규명이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 출산율 변화의 원인을 다각적으로 살펴보고, 향후 변화방향을 전망해 보고자 한다. 먼저 자녀출산의 변화를 결혼상태 변화와 유배우부인의 출산율 변화 부분으로 나누어 살펴본 결과, 과거와는 달리 최근의 출산율 저하는 유배우 부인에 의해서가 아니라 미혼자의 결혼연장 또는 독신생활에서 기인되는 것으로 나타났다. 이들 두 요인에 영향을 주는 변수로는 경기침체 및 직장불안정, 결혼가치관의 변화와 초혼연령의 상승, 자녀양육 관심증대, 자녀양육비 부담, 가정과 직장의 양립을 위한 사회적 인프라 부족, 여성의 자아욕구 및 사회참여 증대, 자녀효용가치 감소, 이혼 등 가족해체의 증대, 그리고 불임부부의 증대 등인 것으로 판단된다. 향후 출산율 변화를 전망해 보면, 저출산을 일찍 경험한 서구 선진국의 경우와는 달리 정책의 추진에 한계가 있어 선진국보다 더 낮은 출산율을 회복하는 데는 많은 어려움이 있을 것이라는 판단이다. 더군다나 젊은 미혼남녀의 가치관이 개인주의화 되는 경향이 있다는 점을 감안한다면 출산율 회복정책을 추진한다 하더라도 한계가 있을 수밖에 없을 것이다. 수년간 실시된 각종 실태조사를 분석한 결과에 의하면 현재의 경기침체가 회복될 경우 약 20%의 출산율 상승 가능성이 있으며, 이 때의 합계출산율은 약 1.43명 수준이 될 수 있을 것으로 예견된다. 또한 종합적 체계적 출산회복정책을 효과적${\cdot}$효율적으로 추진한다면 약 10년 후에는 합계출산율이 약 1.6 수준으로 회복될 것이라는 낙관적 견해를 가져본다. 그렇지만 정책의 강도에 따라서 회복수준은 현저하게 상이할 것이다.를 진단, 치료함에 있어 진행성 신질환의 가능성을 시사하는 예후인자가 없다면 신생검보다는 지속적이고 정기적인 추적관찰만으로도 충분할 것으로 생각된다도 등은 양군 사이에 유의한 차이가 관찰되지 않았다. 발견 당시 혈청 $C_3$치의 감소는 모두 11명(61.1%)에서 관찰되었는데, 증상군에서는 7명(87.5%), 집단뇨검사군에서는 4명(40%)으로 증상군에서 혈청 $C_3$치의 감소가 보다 현저하였다. 그러나 추적관찰 기간 동안 증상군에서는 7명 중 4명, 집단뇨검사군에서는 4명 중 1명에서 혈청 $C_3$치는 정상범위로 증가하여 최종 관찰시점에서는 6명 (33.3%)에서만 혈청 $C_3$치의 감소가 지속되고 있다. 혈청 $C_3$치의 감소를 보인 경우를 다시 병리조직학적 분류에 의해 세분하여보면 발병당시에는 I형 8명(61.5%), II형에 1명(100%), III형 2명(50%)에서 관찰되었는데, 최종 시점에서는 I형 4명(30.8%), II형 1명(100%), III형 1명(33.3%)이었다. 또한 증상군에서 세포성 반월체형성과 세뇨관위축의 빈도가 높았으며, 사구체 혈관벽 비후와 사구체 간질의 증가의 정도가 집단뇨검사군에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 결론: 무증상성 요이상을 가진 환자에서 신장조직검사 실시 후 MPGN으로 진단되는 증례가 증가하고 있고, 오히려 증상을 동반하는 경우보다 빈도가 증가한다는 사실은 집단뇨 검사에서 소변의 이상소견이 발견되어 신장 조직검사를 실시할 경우 혈청 $C_3$치의 감소 여부에 관계없이 MPGN도 진단적 고려 대상이 되어야 한다고 생각한다.신장 조직검사를 시행한 결과 진행성 경과를 취할 수 있는 막 증식성 사구체 신염과 매우 희귀한 증례인 신유전분증 등으로 진단됨으로써 지속성 단백뇨의 경우 정확 진단적 접근이 필수적임을 알 수
