A Study on the Prediction of Power Demand for Electric Vehicles Using Exponential Smoothing Techniques (Exponential Smoothing기법을 이용한 전기자동차 전력 수요량 예측에 관한 연구)

  • In order to produce electric vehicle demand forecasting information, which is an important element of the plan to expand charging facilities for electric vehicles, a model for predicting electric vehicle demand was proposed using Exponential Smoothing. In order to establish input data for the model, the monthly power demand of cities and counties was applied as independent variables, monthly electric vehicle charging stations, monthly electric vehicle charging stations, and monthly electric vehicle registration data. To verify the accuracy of the electric vehicle power demand prediction model, we compare the results of the statistical methods Exponential Smoothing (ETS) and ARIMA models with error rates of 12% and 21%, confirming that the ETS presented in this paper is 9% more accurate as electric vehicle power demand prediction models. It is expected that it will be used in terms of operation and management from planning to install charging stations for electric vehicles using this model in the future.

  • This study The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of online lifelong education in a home using contents of university-affiliated lifelong education center on the acquisition and generalization of cooking task skills for persons with developmental disabilities. The subjects of this study were three persons with developmental disabilities who lived with their parents in the home without employment after graduation from school. The research design and method used the technique of multiple probe design across subjects during the single subject research. As a result of the study, the three persons with developmental disabilities who participated in the study effectively acquired cooking task skills through online lifelong education in the home using contents of university-affiliated lifelong education center, and generalized the performance of cooking task skills in the actual restaurant environment, not at home.

  • Recently, as the number of mobile apps rapidly increases, the memory size of smartphones keeps increasing. Smartphone memory consists of DRAM and as it is a volatile medium, continuous refresh operations for all cells should be performed to maintain the contents. Thus, the power consumption of memory increases in proportion to the DRAM size of the system. There are attempts to configure the memory system with low-power non-volatile memory instead of DRAM to reduce the power consumption of smartphones. However, non-volatile memory has weaknesses in write operations, so analysis of write behaviors is a prerequisite to realize this in practical systems. In this paper, we extract memory reference traces of mobile apps and analyze their characteristics specially focusing on write operations. The results of this paper will be helpful in the design of memory management systems consisting of non-volatile memory in future smartphones.

  • Today, many smart sensor's measurement instruments are used to check the safety situation of various medium and large bridge structures that should be maintained in the construction facilities, but most of them use the method of measuring and confirming the displacement behavior of the bridge at regular intervals. In order to continuously check the safety situation, various measuring instruments are used, but most of them are not able to measure and measure the displacement and behavior of main construction structures at regular intervals. In this study, GNSS and environment smart sensors and drone's image data are transmitted to wireless network so that risk of many bridge's structures can be detected beforehand. As a result, by diagnosing the fine displacement of the bridge in real time and its condition, reinforcement, repair and disaster prevention measures for the structural parts of the bridges, which are expected to be dangerous, and various disasters and accidents can be prevented, and disaster can be prevented could suggest a new alternative.

  • The road management institute needs lots of cost to repair road surface damage. These damages are inevitable due to natural factors and aging, but maintenance technologies for efficient repair of the broken road are needed. Various technologies have been developed and applied to cope with such a demand. Recently, maintenance technology for road surface damage repair is being developed using image information collected in the form of a black box installed in a vehicle. There are various methods to extract the damaged region, however, we will discuss the image recognition technology of the deep neural network structure that is actively studied recently. In this paper, we introduce a new neural network which can estimate the road damage and its location in the image by region-based convolution neural network algorithm. In order to develop the algorithm, about 600 images were collected through actual driving. Then, learning was carried out and compared with the existing model, we developed a neural network with 10.67% accuracy.

  • In the case of personal information files containing personal information, there is insufficient awareness of personal information protection in end-point areas such as personal computers, smart terminals, and personal storage devices. In this study, we use Diffie-Hellman method to securely retrieve personal information files generated by web crawler. We designed SEED and ARIA using hybrid slicing to protect against attack on personal information file. The encryption performance of the personal information file collected by the Web crawling method is compared with the encryption decryption rate according to the key generation and the encryption decryption sharing according to the user key level. The simulation was performed on the personal information file delivered to the external agency transmission process. As a result, we compared the performance of existing methods and found that the detection rate is improved by 4.64 times and the information protection rate is improved by 18.3%.

  • Acquiring indoor point cloud, using SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) based mobile mapping system, is an element progress for development of as-build BIM (Building Information Model) for the maintenance of the building. In this research we proposed a simulation-based target geometry determination for extrinsic calibration of multiple 2D laser scanning mobile system. Four different types of calibration sites were designed: (1) circle type; (2) rectangle type; (3) double circle type; and (4) double rectangle type. Based on the measurement values obtained from each simulated calibration site geometry, least squares solution based extrinsic calibration was derived. As a result, the rectangle type geometry is most suitable for extrinsic calibration of this system. Also, correlation values between extrinsic calibration parameters were high, and calibration results were distinct according to the calibration sites.

A Decomposition of the Gap between the Capital and Non-Capital Regions in the Inequality of Wealth (수도권과 비수도권 간 자산 격차의 요인분해)

  • This paper attempts to analyze the contribution of different socioeconomic factors such as income, age, gender, household composition, education and employment status etc. to the difference between the Capital and Non-Capital Regions in the net wealth inequality of household in Korea. To this end, a two-stage Oaxaca-Blinder type decomposition is employed regarding the regional gap in the inequality of net wealth based upon the Recentered Influence Function of the Gini index for 'the 2018 Household Finance and Living Conditions Survey.' Despite the shortcomings of the survey data on wealth, the findings reveal that regional differences in income, marriage status (divorce), job type (agriculture, forestry and fishery related, and technical and assembly), family type (multi-cultural) variables deepen the regional gap in the net-wealth inequality, but employment status (full-time), job type (administrative and specialized, and service sales), household size variables mitigate the gap, and that regional differences in life cycles play an offsetting role.

  • This study analyzed social issues related to presidential records in press releases using semantic network analysis method. For this purpose, we 1) selected five major news medias in Korea - Chosun Ilbo, JoongAng Ilbo, Dong-A Ilbo, Hankyoreh, and Kyunghyang Newspaper; 2) collected relevant articles including the subject word "Presidential Records", and 3) analyzed issue trends based on timeline using semantic network. According to medias, the issue related to the presidential records were analyzed by comparing the specific keywords in terms of persons, entities, actions. At the results, It is possible to identify the reporting patterns and components of the presidential records related issues. And the difference of media characteristics according to news media tendency was derived.

  • Recently, it is expected for requirement for more scientific research of weapon systems acquisition alternatives with reliability and objectivity. For these needs, study on methodology of weapon systems acquisition alternatives is but on-going, but it is still in its early stages and is unprofessional. We compared general decision making methods, government development program decision making methods, methodologies of weapon systems acquisition alternatives research such as AHP, ANP, KAAM and proposed AHP as weapon acquisition analysis. This study guarantees objectivity and derives scientific research results reliability by analyzing and comparing comprehensive elements such as cost, effectiveness, deployment schedule, program management risk. Further study on AHP weight and other decision making methods is needed considering category of weapon systems and program characteristics.
