Necessity for the integration of OCS and PACS (OCS와 PACS 통합의 필요성)

  • 목적 : 최근 들어 여러 가지 디지털 의료장비와 각종 의료정보시스템, 인터넷의 활용에 따라 다양한 종류의 의료정보와 지식이 엄청나게 증가하고 있고, 최신의 진료환경구축을 위해서 이러한 지식과 정보들을 통합 관리하려는 필요성과 요구가 대두되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 요구들은 기존의 종이로 된 차트나 필름 등의 기법에서는 물론이고 여러 가지 독립적인 전산 시스템들 <처방전달시스템(OCS), 의료영상저장전송시스템(PACS) 등>을 통해서도 충족되기 어려운 것이 현실이다. 왜냐하면 기존에 설치된 의료 정보 시스템들은 대체로 독자적인 처리방식과 내부구조를 가지고 있기 때문에 서로 다른 의료 정보 시스템간에 정보를 교환한다는 것이 사실상 매우 어렵거나 심지어는 불가능한 경우가 있기 때문이다. 그러나 이러한 의료 정보들을 최대한 유기적으로 활용하기 위해서는 이상의 여러 가지 의료 정보 시스템들을 완벽히 통합하는 것이 필수적이고 이러한 통합의료정보시스템이 비로소 진료에 있어서의 의사결정 과정에 중추적으로 활용될 수 있는 것이다. 특히 의료영상을 다루는 PACS에서는 다른 종류의 의료정보시스템인 OCS(처방전달시스템)와의 연계가 매우 중요하다. 그러나 이러한 중요성에도 불구하고 병원의 전산시스템이 서로 호환되지 않음으로 인해 OCS/PACS 통합은 PACS 도입과정 중에서 가장 어려운 부분으로 인식되어 온 것이 사실이다. 이제까지의 PACS에 있어서는 대량의 영상 데이터를 고속으로 처리하기 위한 기술적인 문제에 주로 관심을 기울였으며 기존의 정보 시스템과의 연계 또는 통합문제는 충분히 고려되지 않았다. 그 결과 PACS를 도입한 병원에서는 기대와는 달리 PACS 운용을 위한 많은 인력소모가 뒤따르거나 운용에 차질을 빚는 등 여러가지 문제가 발생하게 되었다. 따라서 이제까지의 PACS 개발이 기술적인 문제 해결을 위한 방향 접근에서 이루어졌다면, 이제부터는 기술적인 해결을 바탕으로 하여 병원내의 임상운용환경에서 그 효율성을 최대화할 수 있기 위하여 기존 OCS/PACS의 통합 연계성을 주 관심으로 하는 임상적인 접근이 이루어져야 할 시점이라고 파악된다. 이와 같은 OCS/PACS의 통합은 병원 내에서 일어나는 일련의 진료 과정들에 있어서 문자정보뿐 아니라 영상정보까지를 포함하는 모든 진료정보의 관리와 전달을 컴퓨터화 함으로써 진료효율을 비약적으로 형상 시키는 효과를 가져올 수 있으므로 궁극적으로는 모든 병원의 정보시스템이 지향하는 목표이기도 하다. 따라서 OCS/PACS의 통합을 구현하기 위해서는 기존 방식과 OCS/PACS 통합 방식의 차이점이 분석 되어져야 하며 이러한 분석을 바탕으로 차후 병원에 도입되는 시스템이 안정적이고 완성도 높은 병원 정보화 시스템으로 구축 되어져야 하므로 이에 따른 통합 시스템에 대한 분석을 하고자 한다.

Prediction of Fault Zone ahead of Tunnel Face Using Longitudinal Displacement Measured on Tunnel Face (터널 굴진면 수평변위를 이용한 굴진면 전방의 단층대 예측)

  • We conducted three-dimensional finite element analysis to predict the presence of upcoming fault zones during tunneling. The analysis considered longitudinal displacements measured at tunnel face, and used 28 numerical models with various fault attitudes. The x-MR (moving range) control chart was used to analyze quantitatively the effects of faults distributed ahead of the tunnel face, given the occurrence of a longitudinal displacement. The numerical models with fault were classified as fault gouge, fault breccia, and fault damage zones. The width of fault cores was set to 1 m (fault gouge 0.5 m and fault breccia 0.5 m) and the width of fault damage zones was set to 2 m. The results, suggest that fault centers could be predicted at 2~26 m ahead of the tunnel face and that faults could be predicted earliest in the 45° dip model. In addition, faults could be predicted earliest when the angle between the direction of tunnel advance and the strike of the fault was smallest.

An Experimental Study on the Effect of Sensor Line Number on the Reactivity Characteristic of Corrosion Sensor Reactive with Chloride Ion to Immigrate into Concrete (콘크리트내로 침투하는 염소이온 반응형 부식센서의 응답특성에 미치는 센서 세선 수의 영향에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • In this study, the sensor response and sensitivity is experimented and analyzed quantitatively by the line numbers of chlorine ion reaction type corrosion sensor that is developed. The sensor response of the developed corrosion sensor is verified with properties of chlorine ion. The multilineal sensor is shown a large resistance change more than the single line sensor by damage of the sensor. And, the resistance change of sensor is as large as high concentration of NaCl aqueous solution, the sensitivity of multilineal sensor is higher than single line sensor's, and the depth of sensor's location is as large as the increasing of resistance change time (cycle). These results suggest that, the developed corrosion sensor could sense corrosion reaction, sensor sensitivity and change of resistance for chloride ion. Especially, It was judged that 7 line sensor was the most superior for monitoring chloride ion immigration into concrete.

Structural Safety Evaluation by Analysis of Pressure Variation Characteristics of Small Hydro Power Hydraulic Turbine Blades in Sewage Treatment Plant (하수처리장 소수력 수차 블레이드의 압력변화 특성 분석을 통한 구조안전성 평가)

  • Numerical analysis using commercial CFD code was carried out to develop the drag force type vertical axis hydraulic turbine for the improvement of the production efficiency of small hydro energy at low flow velocity condition. Blade pressure changes and internal flows were analyzed according to the presence or absence of the hydraulic turbine blade holes at flow velocity of less than 1.0~3.0 m/s. According to the numerical results, the pressure and flow velocity is severly affected by the flow velocity in turbine blade with no holes, while the influence of flow velocity is comparatively decreased in turbine blade with holes. It is also found that the pressure and flow velocity on the blade surface with holes are evenly distributed with no singular location and it is believed that forming a hole in the blade may be helpful in terms of structural safety.

  • Although island is great worth in ecology, environmental conservation and important territory as a national land for developing the marine, the bottom of the sea and also ecological studying field for the ages to come, it has not been managed because of lack of a scientific surveying. In the case of a cadastral record, inaccessible islands have not been registered in current cadastral record because of the limit of surveying technology in 1910. Therefore, a scientific investigation and systematic management about unregistered islands are necessary. But, a airborne laser scanning system is possible to acquire an accurate positions with digital images about inaccessible islands. Therefore, scientific detection of unregistered islands became possible. This paper presented the results of the shoreline extraction around the Heuksan island using Lidar data and the detection of unregistered islands comparing the cadastral map to the ortho-image. Also, we presented the extraction technique of unregistered islands by calculating their positions and areas. As a result, we extracted effectively 16 unregistered islands around the Heuksan island.

An Analytic Hierarchy Process based Decision Support System for Selecting Foundation Practice (계층분석법 기반의 기초공법 선정 의사결정지원시스템)

  • It is one of the most important decision making problems to select the adequate foundation practice for the downtown construction project. However the foundation practice has not been selected systematically yet by considering various construction field conditions in many projects. The foundation practice is often informally selected on the basis of only past experiences and skilled engineer's opinion. For making the selection process systematically, in this study, we propose a decision support system (DSS) for selecting foundation practices based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Preference Function (PF). In the proposed DSS, the AHP is used for making the selection process more reasonable and the PF is used for considering the decision maker's preference. To validate the proposed DSS, we apply the proposed DSS to the pre-performed construction projects. The application results show that the proposed DSS gives the same foundation practices with the implemented foundation practices that the skilled foundation engineers select after carefully analyzing construction field conditions. The proposed DSS can be used as a useful tool for making decisions to select the foundation practice in the construction fields.

  • PFI(Private Finance Initiative) Project is carried to expand infrastructure effectively through participation of private investment. From the year 2005, the range is expanded not only industrial infrastructure such as made road, harbors and so on but living infrastructure such as school facilities, environmental facilities. For this reason BTL(Build-Transfer-Lease) system is mainly used in new private finance initiative project but in existing private finance initiative project BTO(Build-Transfer-Operate) system was used. BTL system is operated to judge fitness of private investment and classified into quantitative VFM(Value for Money) and qualitative VFM. In this research the estimation item of qualitative VFM which is hard to deduce the effect is created and after surveying of questionnaire in target of experts, relative importance and weight is established with AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). By estimating efficiency and benefit of quantitative VFM and qualitative VFM aspect effectively it is expected to support a rational making decision for operating BTL.

Estimating BOD, CDO and TOC Hydrologic Flux in Nakdong River Basin (낙동강 유역 BOD, COD 및 TOC의 수문학적 플럭스 추정)

  • This study presents a constituent load estimating procedure that can be operated with the present Korean TMDL monitoring system. The modified TANK model is used as a daily river flow simulation model whose parameters are estimated from 8-day intervals flow data. Constituent loads are estimated with the 7-parameter log linear model whose parameters are estimated by the minimum variance unbiased estimator. Results from Nakdong river basin reveals that the proposed procedure provides satisfactory TOC and BOD load estimates. As an application, a representative load duration curve is derived for working out a way to represent the overall hydrologic flux of BOD, COD and TOC at Nakdong river basin. The present water quality can be checked stochastically by Load Duration Curve through this study and presented visually.

  • Proposed equation is used many time in calculation of concrete compressive strength using the non-destructive testing at precision safety diagnosis. Most of proposed equation is suggested in abroad and have an error to estimate concrete compressive strength in the domestic. Therefor, proposed equation is low reliability to estimate concrete compressive and it has a significant effect in reliability of precision safety diagnosis. Nevertheless, It is possible to increase the reliability through a number of experiments from this problem that occurs in some localized part. This paper is proposed assessment formula of reliability related core compressive strength to increase the reliability. It is verified that reliability of proposed assessment formula is useful by probabilistic techniques. It is compared with each graphs of concrete compressive strength of proposed equation. It has been found that the present methods are very efficient.

An Empirical Study on the Risk Index of Korean Securities Industry (우리나라 증권산업의 위험지수 작성에 관한 실증연구)

  • This paper calculates the Risk Index of Korean securities industry that summarizes the information contained in seventeen financial indicators that represent risk categories such as capital adequacy(C), asset quality(A), earnings(E), and liquidity(L) by using the NBER statistical methodology. For the validation of Risk Index, expected default frequency has been used, and the result has been proved to be positive. According to the compiled Risk Index, the level of risks of Korean securities industry has been decreasing from the second quarter of 2003 to the first quarter of 2006 by 22 percent. But the risk has been increasing during the periods from the first quarter of 2002 to the first quarter of 2003 and from the first quarter of 2006 to the last quarter of 2006.
