A Study on the Performance Degradation Pattern of Caisson-type Quay Wall Port Facilities (케이슨식 안벽 항만시설의 성능저하패턴 연구)

  • Purpose: In the case of domestic port facilities, port structures that have been in use for a long time have many problems in terms of safety performance and functionality due to the enlargement of ships, increased frequency of use, and the effects of natural disasters due to climate change. A big data analysis method was studied to develop an approximate model that can predict the aging pattern of a port facility based on the maintenance history data of the port facility. Method: In this study, member-level maintenance history data for caisson-type quay walls were collected, defined as big data, and based on the data, a predictive approximation model was derived to estimate the aging pattern and deterioration of the facility at the project level. A state-based aging pattern prediction model generated through Gaussian process (GP) and linear interpolation (SLPT) techniques was proposed, and models suitable for big data utilization were compared and proposed through validation. Result: As a result of examining the suitability of the proposed method, the SLPT method has RMSE of 0.9215 and 0.0648, and the predictive model applied with the SLPT method is considered suitable. Conclusion: Through this study, it is expected that the study of predicting performance degradation of big data-based facilities will become an important system in decision-making regarding maintenance.

The Impact of SMEs' Smart Factory Systems Implementation on Management Accounting (중소제조기업 스마트공장시스템 도입이 관리회계에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of this research is to investigate how implementation of smart factory systems(SFS) effects management accounting(MA). The results based on data collected from 108 Korea small and medium enterprises(SME) confirmed that SFS implementation caused significant MA changes. Estimated regression models revealed that the most important SFS characteristic were the analytical capabilities since it positively influenced MA changes in four dimensions: internal reporting, budgeting, application of modern accounting techniques and MA employee's job. In the segment of budgeting, the quality of implementation of specialized bedgeting software had significant and positive influence. The only negative correlation founded was the one between the uncertainty of business environment and adoption of modern accounting techniques. Results from this study provide that SME should put special focus on implementation of business analytics modules in order to achieve comprehensive benefits in MA prctices.

  • Stream data, gathered from ubiquitous sensor networks, change continuously over time. Because they have quite different characteristics from traditional databases, we need new techniques for storing and querying/analyzing these stream data, which are research issues recently emerging. In this research, we implemented a storage manager gathering stream data and storing them into databases, which are sampled continuously from sensor networks. The storage manager cleans faulty data occurred in mobile sensors and it also reduces the size of stream data by merging repeatedly-sampled values into one and by employing the tilted time frame which stores stream data with several different sampling rates. In this research furthermore, we measured the performance of the storage manager in the context of a sensor network monitoring fires of a building. The experimental results reveal that the storage manager reduces significantly the size of storage spaces and it is effective to manage the data stream for real applications monitoring buildings and their fires.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of self management and mental power on athletic performance. To attain the goal of the study some athletics of D city physical education middle school, high school, University in D city. Then, using the physical education middle and high school were complete collection, and University were random sampling method, finally drew out and analyzed 353 athletics in total. Data collected through a questionnaire designed for this study consist of fixed alternative choice response to items constructed to represent the operational definition for each variable. Statistics employed for data analysis was correlation and regression. Based upon the results of the study, the following conclusions appear warranted: 1. Self management influence on athletic performance. 2. Mental power influence on athletic performance.

  • For using the knowledge of experts diversely and efficiently, it is very important that the system could represent the complex knowledge in well structured manner and also adapt well to the frequent schema changes. In this paper, we propose an efficient method for knowledge base management by using XML based templates. In our proposed method, to solve the inefficiency of management of many XML documents, we represent the complex knowledge on XML-based templates, and manage the templates structurally by using a meta-template that defines relationship among the templates. In order to show the effectiveness of our method, we developed a knowledge base to formulate an exercise prescription for a subject and an application program to classify the subject's fitness. The experimental study shows that XML-based templates provide a flexible, extensible and structured way of representing expert knowledge. The inference using XML-based templates can be controlled systematically and efficiently by using meta-template.

  • Two of the most important changes in the global market can be represented with Hyper-connection and Glocalization. To cope with these changes and secure the competitive advantages, it is essential to develop the standard organization, policy, processes and criteria for service management. In addition, the service management system is required to effectively support the R&D project management. In this research, an adaptive framework and system architecture for designing R&D project management process using cloud computing has been introduced. With the proposed system, it is able to overcome the limitations of traditional service management and treat the demand from the market in agility. Moreover, it may be possible to present more value than customers want and secure the competitive advantages in the global market with the proposed system.

  • Ptak & Smith published ORLICKY'S Material Requirement Planning Third Edition in 2011 to correspond the rapidly changed market demand by improving the original MRP based on Theory of Constraints(TOC) replenishment inventory management. This study is to develop the simulation model to decide the proper target inventory level for TOC replenishment inventory management using system dynamics Vensim software. This study shows that the proper target replenishment level is how much significant to manage the inventory by the random sample data simulation. This simulation model will be extended to compare the results of the TOC replenishment inventory management planning with the results of the old MRP planning by the enterprise actual inventory data.

  • As the spread of LBS(Location Based Service), MDT(Mobile Data Terminal) and PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) services using mobile terminals, various systems are under development to to manage the performance of these services. This paper describes a mobile performance management system which is implemented to test the performance of mobility between the user and the terminal or between the terminal and the mobile server automatically in the mobile-user field. The system has four modules: scenario management module, MDT monitoring, LBS monitoring, and PDA monitoring. The scenario management module manages the performance by monitoring all modules. The LBS monitoring module monitors LBS call attempt stage, call connecting stage, and LBS test for established connection. Thus, the LBS monitoring module manages the performance for every stage of the call. The MDT monitoring module monitors the performance according to the input command and the PDA monitoring module monitors according to the input from the set up and the execution menu.

Study on the Reduction of NPS Pollution and GHG Emission from Paddies with SRI Methods (SRI 방법을 적용한 논에서의 비점오염원 및 온실가스 저감효과)

  • 본 연구에서는 수질관리 및 기후변화(온실가스 저감) 등에 부응할 수 있는 SRI 벼재배 방법을 국내 논에 적용하여 농업비점오염원과 온실가스 저감효과를 측정하고 비교하여 SRI의 환경개선효과를 평가하고자 하였다. 시험포는 대조구인 상시담수처리구(관행, 재식거리 $30{\times}15cm$)와 SRI 물관리 처리구로 조성하였다. 각 시험포에는 관개배수시설 및 관개량을 측정할 수 있는 수도계량기, 유출량 측정을 위한 플륨 및 수위계 그리고 온실가스(메탄 및 이산화질소)를 측정하기 위한 아크릴재질의 Chamber를 설치하였다. 관행 및 SRI 시험포에 이앙할 모의 재배품종으로 오대벼를 공시하고 모든 시험포의 경우 1주당 3-5본씩 기계이앙을 실시하였으며, 물관리를 제외한 시비와 제초 등의 영농관리는 동일하게 수행하였다. 메탄($CH_4$)과 아산화질소($N_2O$)는 주 2회, 오전 9시 12시에 60 mL 주사기로 주기적으로 시료를 채취하여 GC로 분석하였다. 그리고 관개기간동안 관개량, 강우량 그리고 강우 유출량을 측정하고 수질시료를 채취하여 오염부하를 산정하였다. SRI 시험포의 SS, $COD_{Cr}$, $COD_{Mn}$, BOD, TN, TP의 총 오염부하량은 각각 583 kg/ha, 210.8 kg/ha, 70.1 kg/ha, 30.7 kg/ha, 56.1 kg/ha, 3.55 kg/ha로서 관행 시험포의 오염부하량에 비해 27.1~46.0%의 오염물질 저감 효과를 보였다. 그리고 각 시험포별 온실가스 메탄과 아산화질소의 총 배출량을 지구온난화잠재력(GWP)으로 환산하여 이산화탄소($CO_2$) 기준으로 산정한 결과, 관행은 14.2 톤/ha 그리고 SRI 물관리 처리구 4.0 톤/ha로 관행 대비 SRI 처리구에서 71.8%의 온실가스 감축효과를 나타내었다. 따라서 SRI 벼재배기술은 논 비점오염부하 및 온실가스 저감을 위한 효과적인 최적영농관리방법인 것으로 판단된다.
