Overlapping Decentralized Robust EA Control Design for an Active Suspension System of a Full Car Model (전차량의 능동 현가장치 제어를 위한 중복 분산형 견실 고유구조 지정 제어기 설계)

  • An overlapping decentralized robust EA(eigenstructure assignment) controller is designed for an active suspension system of a vehicle based on a full car model with 7-degree of freedom. Using overlapping decomposition, the full car model is decentralized by two half car models. For each half car model, an effective and disturbance suppressible controller can be obtained by assigning appropriately a left eigenstructure of the system. The performance of the proposed overlapping decentralized robust EA controller is compared with that of a conventional centralized EA controller through computer simulations.

  • A decentralized robust EA(eigensoucture assignment) controller is designed for an active suspension system of a vehicle based on a full car model with 7-degree of freedom.   • In this paper, we propose a novel robust fault isolation filter design method using the left eigenstructure assignment scheme proposed b\ulcorner author. An eigenstructure assignment methodology that satisfies the required fault isolation conditions is also proposed. The proposed method guarantees that the corrupted ${\gamma}$ simultaneous faults can be isolated when the numbers of available output measurements are ${\gamma}$.

  • In this paper, we present a method that has flexibility of exact assignment of eigenstructure with the stochastic robustness for LTI(Linear-Time-Invariant) systems. The stochastic robustness of LTI systems is determined by the probability distributions of closed-loop eigenvalues. The probabilistic stability region is presented stochastically using the Monte Carlo evaluations. The proposed scheme is applied to designing a simple system and a flight control system with stochastic parameter variations to confirm the usefulness of the scheme.

  • In this paper, we introduce a relationship between the sensitivity and the robustness of a system, and we propose a robust eigenstructure assignment scheme using a novel performance index which can consider the performance and the robustness of the system simultaneously. We also propose an assignment accuracy measure and a robustness measure which are used for the performance examination of the proposed robust eigenstructure assignment scheme. The usefulness of the proposed algorithm and the measures are verified by applying to controller design of a simple numerical example and the EMRAAT missile.
