Evaluation of Quantitative Results of PIXE Analysis (다원소 동시분석법 PIXE법의 정량성 평가)

  • The standard samples for the calibration of PIXE analysis were prepared using the single element standard samples and sulfur and chlorine compounds. The diluted standard solutions were dropped on the non-hole nuclepore film and dried. Standard sample of six elements of Ca, Cr, Co, Cu, Se and Sr had close agreement between the measurement and theoretical values. According to the theoretical study about the effects of thick samples on the accuracy of the PIXE analysis, the reduction of X-ray yields in the thick sample can not be neglected for the sample thicker than $100{\mu}g/cm^2$.

  • 고속액체크로마토그래피 방법을 사용하여 동시에 arbutin, 메탄올에 녹인 methyl, ethyl, prpyl, butyl parben과 glablidien(유용성감초추출물)을 파장 254와 276 nm에서 Gradient methanol로 octdecyl culumn을 사용하여측정하였다. arbutin와 glablidien 농도 0.5-1.0 ug/ml 파라벤류는 0.1-2.0 ug/ml에서 검량선이 직선으로 작성되었다. 검량이 직선으로 나타나 정량분석을 할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 샘플 전처리가 크로마토그래피로 측정하기에 좋은 방법이란 것을 판정하기 위하여 일반로션을 사용하여 판정하였다. 이 방법의 정확도는 모든 측정물질(arbutin, methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, glablidine)의 회수율 상대표준편차(RSD)가 (0.28-2.55%) 나타나 신뢰성 있는 결과를 보였다.A high-performance liquid chromatographic method for the simultaneous determination of arbutine, a mixture of methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl parabens dissolved in methoanol and Glrablidine(Oil Soluble Licorice), was studied by using a ODS C18 column and a methanol gradient at 254 and 276 nm. Calibration curves were found to be linear in the 0.5-1.0 ug/ml range(compounds arbutine, glrablidin) and 0.1-20 ug/ml (compounds methylpaaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben). Linear regression analysis of the data demonstrates the efficacy of the method in terms of precision and accuracy. An extraction method is developed and validated in order to apply this chromatographic method to a cosmetic lotion. The presision of this method, calculated as the relativ standard deviation(RSD) of the recoveries(0.28-2.55%) was excellent for all compounds.

  • Many polymeric poly(vinyl chloride) membrane electrodes have been developed for the determination of basic drugs. But relatively little has been roported concerning the behavior of ligand free PVC memebranes. In connection with the evaluation of various ionophores, we bave evaluated a near-Nernstian response and selectivity of these ligand-free PVC electrodes towards basic drugs such as alverine, chlorpromazine and promazine. The electrode membranes were constructed with only several plasticizer and poly (vinyl chloride) matrix. The plasticizer studied were dioctyl phenylphosphonate, 2-nitrophenyl octyl ether, isododecyl phenylphosphate and dioctyl maleate.

  • Benfuresate의 잔류분석을 위해 GC-FPD(S-mode)를 이용하여 분석조건을 설정 중 열적 불안정으로 인해 열분해 산물과 모 화합물이 혼재됨이 확인되었다. 가스크로마토그라프를 이용한 열분해의 주된 요인은 주입구의 온도와 주입구내의 기화 정도인 것으로 판단되었으며, 주입구를 Chauhan과 Debre 가 고안한 on-column으로 교체 후 분석한 결과 분해산물이 없는 단일 봉우리의 크로마토그램을 얻을 수 있었고, 절대량으로 0.6-4ng의 정량 범위 내에서 유의성 높은 검량선을 얻을 수 있는 주입구 온도는 20$0^{\circ}C$였다.

  • Amounts of alkylbenzene sulfonate (ABS) in the mixtures of anionic and nonionic detergents were determined by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) method. In the NMR spectrum of anionic and nonionic detergents, benzene group showed peaks overlapping at 6.5∼8ppm, but after sampling, benzene group showed two doublet at 7∼8ppm. Calibration curve was obtained by relative ratio of area for benzene group in anionic detergent to that for methyl group in acetic acid(acetic acid was used as the internal standard).

  • 연안역은 산업, 가정 폐기물의 종착지이고 중기계금속산업과 석유화학산업단지가 다수 포진하고 있는 지역으로 환경에 유해한 물질들로 대기나 수질을 통해 오염되기 쉬운 여건을 가지고 있으므로, 쾌적한 환경을 위한 환경 모니터링이 불가피한 곳이다. 이에 연안역의 환경 모니터링을 위한 정확한 분석결과를 현장에서 측정할 수 있으며 사용자의 편의성을 제공하는 새로운 시스템의 도입이 시급한 실정이다. 연구개발 중인 수질 및 대기 모니터링 시스템은 전문지식이 필요 없이도 테스트의 수행, 테스트 자료, 분석결과의 관리를 위해 구축했는데 특히 사용자 인터페이스의 검량선, 정량분석을 중점으로 본 논문에서 서술하였다.

  • A simple and sensitive method of determining trace amounts of benzene hexachloride (BHC) in air has been investigated. The sample is passed through the n-hexane solution and the absorbance of it was measured at 245nm spectrophotometrically and the concentration of benzene hexachloride was calculated using a working curve obtained from the vaporized standard benzene hexachloride passed into n-hexane.

  • This paper shows the development of current sensor for the measurement of hundreds of nanoseconds large current in pulsed power and its characteristics evaluation. The developed current sensor was designed for measuring induced voltage from magnetic flux under the operation of pulsed power. Output characteristics of developed current sensor was good consistent with commercial one, and the realistic current of fast pulsed power was detected easily with the calibration curve using output voltage of developed sensor. Therefore, the developed current sensor is possible to apply the realistic system.

  • Eum Yang Kwak, the aerial part of Epimedium koreanum, is widely used as a folk medicine for stimulant in man, tonic, and hypotensive purpose. The plant contains icariin (a specific flavonoid), magnoflorine (an alkaloid) and tannin, but their contents are not known until now. In this paper, a quantitative analysis method for them was developed. Determination of icariin and magnoflorine was successfully achived by high performance liquid chromatography equipped with a UV detector in the ranges of $0.1{\sim}0.4\;mg$ and $0.002{\sim}0.1\;mg\;per\;ml$ sample, respectively. Extraction of the plant was carried out with water or 50% ethanol using different decocting temperatures and times. Icariin was well extracted either by water ($100^{\circ}C$, 3hr) or 50% ethanol ($85^{\circ}C$, 1hr), and its content in the plant was measured to be 0.94%. On the other hand, magnoflorine was fully extracted by 50% ethanol ($85^{\circ}C$, 1hr), and its content was determined to be 0.16%. Therefore, decoction of the medicinal plant with water at $100^{\circ}C$ for 3hr turned out to be recommendable for the best extraction.

  • A sensitive derivatization method by using the TFE/TFAA as derivative reagent is proposed for the determination of acidic herbicides in water, by using this method, method detection limits are improved by 10 times and sample volumes are decreased by 5 times compared with other methods such as U.S. EPA and SPEED 98. And also, in order to suggest higher creditable standard operating procedure (SOP), intra- and inter-lab validation test carried out by four laboratories include our lab. The results of intra and inter-lab validations in same experimental conditions show good linearity in given range of concentrations as a $0.1{\sim}10.0$ ng/ml, and range of accuracies and precisions show $-20.5{\sim}12.2$ bias%, $0.55{\sim}24.48%$ (for intra-lab validation) and $-6.66{\sim}0.80 bias%$, $1.92{\sim}13.86%$ (for inter-lab validation), respectively.
