AVIs on the road are installed for (1) security (2) and for traffic, and they are various managed by (1) police department, (2) local government, (3) national highway management, (4) Korean highway corporation. But although the collected data of the plate number, the travel time, the picture of the car are same, they are used in purposes of its installation because the managements are different and the data are difficult to be connected with each other. For this reason, this study is to appraise the application for creating traffic information by integrating these data, and to suggest the introduction of spatial detection system which integrated security-traffic AVI DB for the purpose of reliability improvement of center's velocity. The estimating sections of link travel information seems to be expanded, and the error rate between the center's velocity and the experimental value will be reduced if integrated DB of traffic and security AVIs is used for creating traffic information. Also, the crime prevention and arrest rate is expected to rise in the future.

A sudden change of social structure makes the nations have experienced terrorism to establish an anti-terrorism law and associate with international agreements to protect themselves from terrorism. Korea is exposed to terrorism as it has grown in stature by holding the international occasions and has been easy to travel abroad since 1980. Korea regulates the terrorist by a guideline which was established in 1982 by the presidential instruction and other criminal law. However, the majority of people doubt the propriety of overinterpretation of the law and punishment for terrorism. To cope with the situation strongly, it is better to establish an anti-terrorism law to block terrorism and apprehend the terrorist beforehand. Also we should realign an anti-terrorism organization that should be organized by the type of terrorism. In addition, we can expect to avoid waste of a budget and human efforts if we introduce terrorism warning system and face with each stage of situation. Lastly it is possible to prevent terrorism if we build up preventive actions along with the local residents.

This study will show the digital forensic model which fights against cyber-crimes to prepare various cyber-crimes. The digital forensic model will be more useful about the investigation of cyber-crimes and arresting criminals after researching the uses of the digital forensic model and cyber-crime rates in South Korea. This model conduct the standardized data with various languages by the language support system through the digital forensic analyzer. This model will send the data to law enforcement reviewing whether or not we ought to prove criminal charges. Moreover, law enforcement can access the file system to find out admissibility of evidence. And this model simplifies lawful investigation about additional investigation. The data, which is conducted and saved by the digital forensic system, will be helpful to protect against the future crimes because of the data.

This study has aimed at establishing of the new administration scheme related to the goal of police like the investigation division through analyses of differences on the role perception of female police officers. In a related matter, work characteristics include ranks, working areas, working priods and the dependent variables of the role perception of female police officers are composed of 3 items like task role, group maintenance role and individual role. As a result, the differences by ranks, working areas, working priods that were analyzed by using one-way ANOVA showed significant differences in the each dependent variables. The results showed that the female police officers whose ranks were higher, who had been employed longer, and whose working areas were places where the cases occurred a lot more showed great point in mean value not only on task role but also on group maintenance role. The result of the study suggests a direction to achieve the best efficacy of police duties such as a criminal investigation, the prevention of crime and presents an useful indication to redefine the role.

Areas of forensic have been used as a tool in many fields of police investigation, detective, such as research relating to the criminal investigation. Despite it is failure to obtain a central role and status, forensic is nonetheless necessary. This study recognizes the importance of police and forensic activities, and in reviewing the level of support for actual condition of science and forensic investigations, and it has tried to find the problems. Based on this, this study discusses development plans of the working system to explore whether it can improve the efficiencies of forensic activities from the realistic restrictions. These days, one of the main problems that police forensic activities encounter is lack of labor and human resources on the arrested. Therefore, this study aimed to looking for realistic ways to improve efficiencies of forensic agents First, changing the working system and the restructuring the command system requires a long-term perspective. In other words, a regional forensic system is required. Second, the establishment of a Police Investagation Specialization to ensure the professionalism of the investigation is necessary. Third, the system should improve forensic specialties. Fourth, the R&D organization should established to improve the capability for forensic investigations.

Social unrest from retaliatory crimes is increasingly becoming problematic. Recently, there was an accident involving a suspect who went to a hospital and committed acts of retaliatory violence 11 times. This person's reasoning was that he was imprisoned due to the hospital's reporting to the police. He was consequently arrested in Boeun Choongbook on December 27th 2014. Accidents like this one take place frequently around our surroundings. There are regulations and systems in place. Nevertheless, similar cases that continue to take place makes us wonder if criminal judicial systems work well. Lukewarm responses to retaliatory crimes is not only threatening social security, but also placing fears in the minds of ordinary citizens. If retaliatory crimes take place, most citizens become apprehensive about criminal judicial activities of the police and mistrust for criminal judicial system. This at times discourages people from reporting incidents and could eventually increase crime rate and cause various social problems. Even though there are legal and systemic control measures, retaliatory crime is an increasing trend. This study is going to examine tendencies of internal retaliatory crimes and discuss legal-systemical responses.

Many of crimes are solved by the report of people. Therefore, countries pay compensation to crime reporter. However, the current system of compensation is focused on the report of criminal fact and criminals arrest, so that there is no compensation on the providing evidence. On the other hand, since the current judicial system adopted the principle of trial by evidence, all the facts are made by the evidence. But it is impossible to obtain all the evidence only by law enforcement agencies. Therefore, it is necessary for people to report the evidence positively. So it is necessary to positively take advantages of smart phones, vehicle black boxes and cctvs. Various incentives such as compensation would be needed to require the evidence of smartphone or black box, cctv. In order to strengthen evidence report, it will be needed the legislation of crime report compensation, smartphone apps development including the provision of various incentives.

Experiments were conducted to study on bionomics and control of cutworms; Agrotis tokionis, A. ipsilon, A. fucosa in Suweon, 1978-1979. A. ipsilon and A. fucosa had two or three generations and A. tokionis had one generation a year. A large number of A. toikonis occured at the end of September, and the major peaks of the first generation of A. tokionis and A. fucosa were in mid-June, the second generation in mid-August, and the third generation was at the end of September. These cutworms laid many eggs on the lower surface of curved downward leaf of Chinese cabbage and the larvae later than 3rd instar began to cut the basal part of stem and then pulled into the soil. A parasite of A. tokionis, a braconid wasp, Meteorus rubens, and two unidentified Ichneumnid wasps were found. Mocap and Volaton gave effective control to the cutworms but Volaton should be applied not to contact with plant.

2006년 11월 이후 신 차량 번호판 등장 후, 신 차량 번호판과 구 차량 번호판이 혼합되어 있다. 이에 따라 속도위반, 신호위반 단속, 무인 주차관리 시스템, 범죄 및 도주 차량 검거, 고속도로 톨게이트에서 통행료 지불로 인한 교통 체증현상을 해소하기 위한 자동 요금 징수와 같은 다양한 경우에서 자동차 번호판의 특징에 맞는 인식 시스템이 요구되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 형태학적 특징 및 차 연산과 ART2 알고리즘을 이용한 차량 번호판 인식 방법을 제안한다. 무인 카메라에서 획득된 차량 번호판 영상에서 차 연산을 이용하여 에지를 추출한 후에 블록 이진화를 한다. 이진화 된 차량 영상에서 신 구 차량 번호판의 형태학적 특성을 8방향 윤곽선 추적 알고리즘에 적용하여 잡음 영역을 제거하고, 차량의 번호판 영역을 추출한다 추출된 번호판 영역에 대하여 평균 이진화와 최대 최소 이진화를 적용하여 번호판의 개별 영역에 대한 형태학적 특성을 고려하여 잡음을 제거하고, Labeling 알고리즘을 적용하여 개별 문자를 추출한 후에 결합한다. 이렇게 분류된 개별 문자 및 숫자 코드를 ART2 알고리즘에 적용하여 학습 및 인식을 한다. 제안된 차량 번호판 추출 및 인식 방법의 성능을 평가하기 위해 녹색 번호판과 흰색 번호판 이미지 각각 100장을 대상으로 실험한 결과, 제시 된 차량 번호판 추출 및 인식 방법이 실험을 통해서 효율적인 것을 확인하였다.

2006년 11월 이후 신 차량 번호판 등장 후, 신 차량 번호판 차량이 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 속도위반, 신호위반 단속, 무인 주차 관리 시스템, 범죄 및 도주 차량 검거, 고속도로 톨게이트에서 통행료 지불로 인한 교통 체증현상을 해소하기 위한 자동 요금 징수와 같은 다양한 경우에서 신 자동차 번호판의 특징에 맞는 인식 시스템이 요구되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 지능형 신 자동차 번호판 인식 방법을 제안한다. 무인 카메라에서 획득된 신 차량 영상을 그레이 레벨로 변환한 후에 블록 이진화한다. 블록 이진화된 차량 영상을 대상으로 차량의 형태학적 특징을 적용하여 잡음을 제거한 후, 번호판 영역을 추출한다. 추출된 번호판 영역에 대해 Grassfire 알고리즘을 적용하여 개별 코드를 추출한다. 차량 번호판을 인식하기 위하여 추출된 개별 코드를 퍼지 ART 알고리즘을 적용하여 학습 및 인식한다. 제안된 차량 번호판 추출 및 인식 방법의 성능을 평가하기 위해 100장의 차량 영상을 대상으로 실험한 결과, 제안된 차량 번호판 추출 및 인식 방법이 실험을 통해서 효율적인 것을 확인하였다.
