아파트, 사무소 고층건물 공사시 리프트는 공사진척에 획기적 기여를 해왔다. 당연히, 이로 인한 년간사고가 적지 않았다. 한국산업안전공단 분기별 발행되는 중대재해 사고사례집에서 제시하고 있는 최근 5년간 리프트 사고통계에 의하면, 97년도 22건, 98년 15건, 99년 8건, 2000년 12건, 2001년 14건으로 조사되었다. 사고 기인별 내용으로는 물 자체의 결함, 안전방호장치결함, 복장·보호구의 결함, 물의배치 및 작업장의 불량, 작업환경의 결함, 생산공정의 결함, 경계표시 및 설비결함으로 나타났다.(중략)

Purpose: To evaluate pathologic patterns and outcomes of treatment of a biceps tendon lesion associated with a rotator cuff tear. Materials and Methods: We reviewed 92 patients (i) who underwent surgery for a cuff tear, (ii) for whom the biceps lesion could be observed retrospectively, and (iii) had a minimum follow-up of 2 years. The pathology of biceps tendon was classified into 4 types: tenosynovitis, fraying or hypertrophy, tear, and instability. All but the 4 with massive cuff tears were repaired. The biceps lesions were treated with debridement in 30, tenotomy in 10, tenodesis in 8, and recentering in 4. UCLA scoring was used for clinical results. Results: Seventy patients had a biceps lesion, 19 tenosynovitis, 22 fraying or hypertrophy, 21 a tear, and 8 instability. A biceps lesion was observed in 63% of cases of cuff tears below the medium size, and in 88% of cases with cuff tears above the large size. UCLA scores according to the pathology of the biceps lesion were 29.6 in the absence of a biceps lesion, and 28.3 in its presence. UCLA scores in patients with tenotomy or tenodesis for associated biceps tendon lesions were 28.2. Conclusion: There is a greater incidence and severity of a biceps lesion with a larger cuff tear. Therefore, the cause of a biceps lesion might be related to the cause of the cuff tear. Among the several options of treatment for biceps lesion, tenotomy or tenodesis may be particularly effective in providing pain relief.

This study was performed to investigate the contents of sulfites in 1,063 dried seaweeds in Seoul Chung-Bu market from March in 1999 to August in 2000. Sulfites of the samples were determined by Zn powder reduction method and bonnier-Williams's modified method. Two samples of 1063 (0.19%) were detected over 30ppm in SO$_2$ contents by bonnier-Williams's modified method. In samples detected over 30ppm, 2 brown algaes were 171.4ppm and 295.7ppm. By Zn powder reduction method, 54 dried seaweeds (54/1063 = 5.08%) were positive reaction (1-30ppm). These were 28 dried lavers, 27 dried brown seaweeds and 2 sea cabbages. According to results, the quality test far the dried seaweeds must be reinforced to supply safety food for the citizens.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical results of arthroscopic biceps long head suprapectoral tenodesis using an interference screw. Materials and Methods: We reviewed the cases of 30 patients who underwent arthroscopic biceps long head suprapectoral tenodesis using an interference screw between January 2008 and January 2010. The minimum follow up period was one year. Twenty patients had rotator cuff tears. The results were analyzed by VAS, ASES, tenderness in the bicipital groove, fixation failure, and the degree of deformity. Results: VAS, ASES scores showed a statistically significant increase during the final observation in all patients, compared with those before surgery. However, five patients (17%) had anterior shoulder pain and tenderness in the biceps groove, and three patients (10%) had Popeye deformity. Better results were achieved in patients without rotator cuff tear than in patients with rotator cuff tear (p<0.05). Conclusion: Arthroscopic biceps long head tenodesis above the pectoralis major using an interference screw in patients with a pathologic lesion of the proximal biceps tendon showed good results at the last follow up. However, further study for tenderness in the biceps groove in 17% of patients is needed.

This study was performed to investigate the contents of sulfites in 2, 770 dried marine products in Seoul Chung-Bu market from March to October in 1999. Sulfites of the samples were determined by Zn powder reduction method and Monnier-Williams's modified method. Eight samples of 2, 770 (0.29%) were detected over 30ppm in SO2 contents by Monnier-Williams's modified method. In samples detected over 30ppm, six dried filefishes(130.2~573.4ppm) were imported from Vietnam, same kind of other one(114.2ppm) was from China and the other one Alaska pollack(196.3ppm) was domestic. By Zn powder reduction method, 259 dried marine products (259/2, 770=9.35%) were positive reaction (1-30ppm). These were 93 dried shrimps, 53 filefish meats, 34 dried squids, 33 slices of dried pollacks and 17 sea mussel meats. So sulfites must be use commonly to prevent black spot and preserve for many dried shrimps, filefishes meats, dried squids etc. According to results, the quality test for the imported dried marine products must be reinforced to supply safety food for the citizens.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the clinical outcomes of ACL reconstruction using autogenous hamstring tendon and allo-tibialis tendon. Materials and Methods: Between March 2002 and March 2005, We performed 30 ACL reconstuructions using hamstring autograft and 20 ACL reconstuructions using tibialis tendon allograft. The average follow up period was 22 months in auto-hamstring tendon and 18 months in allo-tibialis tendon. For the clinical evaluation, we measured the Lysholm score, International Knee Documentation Committee(IKDC) score and anterior laxity by KT-2000 arthrometer at final follow up and compare the results between two groups. Results: The Lysholm score improved from 69.5 preoperatively, to 95.3 at final follow-up in the hamstring autograft groups and from 69.0 to 90.4 in the tibialis allograft groups. According to the IKDC evaluation form, 80% of autogenous hamstring tendon group and 73% of allograft group were good results, higher than B(almost normal)(p>0.05). The average KT-2000 arthrometer side-to-side difference, decreased from 7.1mm preoperatively, to 1.8mm at final follow-up in the hamstring autograft groups and from 7.4 mm to 2.4mm in the tibialis allograft groups. Conclusion: The clinical results of ACL reconstruction using auto-hamstring tendon and allo-tibialis tendon showed no significant differences. The allo-tibialis tendon is an acceptable substitute for auto-hamstring tendon in ACL reconstruction.

Raisins (Thailand), dried mangos (Philippines), and dried figs (Iran) were gamma-irradiated (0~5 kGy), and their quality and detection characteristics were investigated. Microbiological characteristics were at safe levels when samples were irradiated at higher than 3 kGy. In color change after irradiation, dried mangoes were the most sensitive. Photostimulated luminescence (PSL) measurement was not applicable to dried fruits, showing negative or intermediate values for the irradiated samples. Thermoluminescence (TL) measurement was good for dried figs, exhibiting a glow curve in range of $150{\sim}200^{\circ}C$, where the signal intensity was dependent on the irradiation dose. Electron spin resonance (ESR) measurement was suitable for raisins and dried mangos, resulting in dose-dependent radiation-induced sugar radical signals.

This study was to investigate physicochemical properties of Shinan seomcho growing in Jeollanamdo. The samples used were Shinan seomcho(Josaeng, Mansaeng varieties), Pohangcho(Josaeng, Mansaeng varieties), Namhaecho (Josaeng, Mansaeng varieties) and greenhouse spinach(Josaeng varieties). The results were as follows ; The thickness of spinach leaves were contained in order of Shinan seomcho > Pohangcho > Namhaecho > greenhouse spinach, and the hardness of those were contained in order of Pohangcho > Namhaecho > Shinan seomcho > greenhouse spinach. In Hunter's color value, L, a, b value in greenhouse spinach was lower than those of the others. Among the spinach varieties, Josaeng-jong(3.39~5.38 mg%) had the highest level of total dietary fiber contents than that of Mansaeng-jong(2.94~3.91 mg%). By regional groups, total dietary fiber were contained in order of Pohangcho > Namhaecho > Shinan seomcho > greenhouse spinach. The free sugar contents in the sample group, Shinan seomcho(4 varieties), Pohangcho(1 variety) and Namhaecho(2 varieties) were higher than those of other spinach varieties. The total sugar contents in the sample group, Shinan seomcho(3 varieties), Pohangcho(1 variety) and Namhaecho(2 varieties) were higher than those of other spinach varieties. Total flavonoid contents of Shinan seomcho(Josaeng-jong) and Namhaecho(Josaeng-jong) were lower than 130 mg%, but the other spinach had more than 130 mg% of total flavonoid contents. Germanium contents were detected in the following order ; Shinan seomcho(47.46 ${\mu}g$/kg) > Namhaecho(30.13 ${\mu}g$/kg) > Pohangcho(26.39 ${\mu}g$/kg) > greenhouse spinach(25.32 ${\mu}g$/kg).

1995년 이후부터 현재까지 전기로 제강더스트의 재활용 또는 처리에 대하여 국내 및 전 세계의 공개특허 및 연구논문을 분석하여 전기로 더스트의 재활용연구 동향을 파악하고자 하였다. 국내의 경우, 35건의 특허가 공개 또는 등록되었는데, 활용방법에 따라 분류하면 다음과 같다. 고형안정화처리가 6건, 케미칼 제조 7건, 아스콘 채움재가 4건, 토건재료로 활용이 3건, 습식처리 회수가 4건, 용융환원 3건, 폐수처리활용이 2건, 시멘트원료 1건, 건식회수법 5건으로 나눌 수 있다. 또한 년도별로는 95년 2건, 96년 1건, 97년 4건, 98년 4건, 99년 5건, 2000년 18건, 2001년 1건이 출원되었다. 2000년에 전체 출원 건수의 절반이 집중되었다. 미국특허는 이 기간중 39건이 등록된 것으로 검색되었다. 년도별로는 95년 3건, 96년 6건, 97년 5건, 98년 7건, 99년 9건, 00년 2건, 01년 3건, 2002년 4건(2개는 한국출원)이 검색되었다. 처리방법 별로는 마찰재 원료로 활용 3건, 고화처리 3건, 건식장치 1건, 습식처리 13건, 유동환원, 직접환원, 환원배소, 플라즈마환원등의 건식 처리법이 10건, 습식+건식콘크리트 4건, 폐수처리 활용 1건, 건자채 생산 1건등이 등록되었다. 국가전자도서관에서 EAF Dust를 키워드로 1993년 이후의 EAF Dust 관련 연구문헌을 검색한 결과 48건이 검색되었고, 01년에 5건, 00년에 3건, 99년에 4건, 98년 2건, 97년이 가장 활발하여 15건의 보고가 확인되었다. 96년에는 8건, 95년에는 3건의 보고가 검색되었다. 01년의 연구논문들은 direct recycling, reduction kinetics, distillation reduction등에 관심을 보이고 있었다. 가장 활발하게 많은 연구논문이 발표되었던 97년 이후에는 논문 발표수가 현저히 감소되어 97년 이후에 이 분야에 대한 관심이 감소하고 있음을 보여주고 있다.
