The architectural design methodology had been changed under control of Modern life. At that time, architectural design education was formed directly by modern architects for their professional characteristics, introducing the architectural design education to our college education of architecture on various sides. The purpose of this study is to explore the formation of architectural design education and its origin meaning on the basis of subjects and learning factors in the institute of architectural design education. The spacial subjects and learning factors can be studied in the aspect of process and method that molds architectural design education. As a result of this study, two properties in the architectural design education were revealed. One property is creation that was revealed by Ecoles des Beaux-Arts' architectural design education. Another property is that rationality that was revealed by in Ecole Polytecnique's architectural design education.

In this study we have proposed the prototype of design support device for architectural design assessment using the building information modeling(BIM) data and the augmented reality(AR) technology. The proposed system consists of novel hardware composition with the transparent display, the mock-up model and the digital architectural model in the new shape of frame. The removal of background and the correction of viewer point in the capture video are proposed in order to use the transparent display in AR application. The BIM data formats are reviewed to be converted for using in AR application. Also the proposed system can be expanded to multi-user collaboration system from two user system through the suggested hardware and software compositions. The results of this study will be applied to use the mock-up model and digital architectural model in order to carry out the design assessment process efficiently and economically in the architectural design field.

이 글은 15년간 미 극동공병단에서 설계실, Project Manager, Engineering/ Construction Coordinator등 여러 부서를 거치고 설계사무소를 개설한 지 3년동안 현실을 경험하면서 불합리하게 느껴졌던 점과 그 대응책을 단편적으로 기술하였다. 세계시장이 개방되면 무엇이 과연 우리의 영역을 침해할 것인가에 대해 막연한 불안감을 접하고 있으나, 그들과의 경쟁력을 높이기 위해서는 설계, 감리, 공사의 품질을 향상하는데 관심을 기울여야 할 것이다. 최근 설계ㆍ감리비의 인상은 기술료가 비싼 외국기술자의 기반을 만들어 줄 수도 있다는 우려와 함께 건축사들의 각성에 의해 우리의 지위향상에 일조하기를 진정 바라는 바이다.

The main objective of this study is to develop the application system of building code in super-tall building design. In order to improve the design company's qualification in the specialized building project such as super-tall, developing the reasonable application of domestic building code system is one of essential factors. This study show the unique environment required in the super-tall design process and compare the regulation system in domestic building code and international building code, mostly US. By analyzing the building codes of Busan Lotte Tower, this study suggest the addition or modification of building code application for the similar super-tall building design projects.

This paper was aimed to represent 3D design process to enable the construction design in a smart phone. The construction design was done in pattern units, by composing construction materials in components first, followed by assembling the components in pattern. Four types of views were constructed and each function was described to enable construction design in mobile environment. In addition, the skills needed for each view were described in detail through the libraries used. The process and calculation results were shown in mobiles how each view performed its function and behave worked together with a complementary way based on this implementation technique.
