Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate parents' perceptions and attitudes regarding a screening test for and subsequent management of students' emotional and behavioral problems. Methods: A descriptive research design was used, and included disproportional stratified and cluster random sampling. The sample comprised 223 parents of elementary, middle, and high school students. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Chi-squared test, and ANOVA with SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: Overall, parents responded that they knew of the goals, types, and tools of screening tests for students' emotional and behavioral problems. In total, 64.6% of parents reported having information for the screening test in advance. Only 13.5%(n=30) of students had emotional and behavioral problems in the last year. Among these students, 56.7%(n=17) were referred to mental health facilities but only 29.4%(n=5) of them received ongoing management from these facilities. Conclusion: These findings suggest that parents should receive information about the screening test for and subsequent management of students' emotional and behavioral problems. Health professionals need to build strategies to provide ongoing management for students who have emotional and behavioral problems.

The purpose of this study was to identify nurses' communication style and the extent of their health literacy and to discern the impact of nurses' communication and health literacy on self-care behaviors, as perceived by elderly diabetic patients in comprehensive nursing-care service wards. This study provides basic data for establishing an efficient nursing-care service-system environment through high-quality self-management. The measurement and improvement of an accurate health literacy level of elderly diabetic patients is an important intervention method to increase the self-care behavior of patients. Therefore, by developing a distinguished nursing intervention plan, early treatment of diabetic patients and quality of care may be possible.

HL7은 병원 시스템 간 의료 정보 전달을 위해 활용되고 있는 국제 표준의 프로토콜로 현재 U-헬스케어 서비스에서는 클라이언트와 서비스 서버 간의 건강 정보뿐만 아니라 모든 정보 교환이 HL7 2.x 메시지를 통해 이루어진다. 그러나 최근 의료서비스 및 기술의 발전으로 각종 센서와 개인건강기기를 통해 측정된 생체 정보가 빠른 속도로 발생하고 있어 서비스 서버와의 정보 교환과정에서 처리속도와 데이터 크기에 관한 기존 HL7 표준 메시지 구조의 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 스마트 TV 웰니스 서비스를 대상으로 HL7 Coding 규약을 준용하며 서비스 서버와 HL7 표준 정보교환의 신속한 처리를 위한 HL7 메시지 구조의 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

모바일 기술을 활용하여 질병을 예방하고 건강을 증진하는 모바일 헬스(m-health)는 그 영역을 확장하고 있다. 특히 20-30대의 젊은 연령층 사이에서 각종 스마트 기기를 활용하여 건강데이터를 관리하는 트렌드가 확산되고 있으며, 이들이 건강서비스를 제공받는 경로로 스마트폰이 가장 큰 비중을 차지하고 있다. 또한 정부에서는 경제구조 변화에 대응하고, 고령화로 인한 복지문제를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 ICT 융합 의료산업을 주목하고 있다. 이에 맞추어 모바일 애플리케이션을 통해 사용자에게 체크리스트를 제공하고, 체크 항목에 따라 그에 대한 결과를 발병가능 질병, 필요한 검사 등의 정보를 제공해주고, 사용자들의 자가진단 통계치를 웹사이트를 통해 보여주는 것을 개발하였다.

본 논문은 여성들이 주로 걸리는 암에 대해 올바른 지식을 가지고 건강관리 할 수 있도록 하는 전용 어플리케이션을 만들어 주요 암에 대한 예방을 할 수 있도록 해준다. 특히, 암에 대한 중상 및 관련 동영상 등 일반 정보 뿐 만 아니라 자이로 센서를 통해 요가 자세 교정 등 건강관리를 해 주게 되며, 다이어리 기능을 통해 각자 개인에 맞는 식단을 짤 수 있고 예방접종 알림 서비스를 사용할 수 있게 한다. 즉, 질병과 관련된 많은 어플리케이션이 있지만 이 어플리케이션은 특히 여성을 위한, 암에 대한 주요정보를 제공하게 된다. 또한 단순한 정보 제공에 끝나는 것이 아니라 요가 기능과 다이어리 기능과 같이 사용자 개인 상황에 맞는 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하게 된다.

현대사회에 접어들어 삶의 질 개선으로 인한 생명적 측면의 가치 증가로 인한 "웰빙", "웰니스"에 대한 관심도가 높아짐에 따라 개인의 건강 유지와 체질 개선은 현대인들에게 화두가 되고 있고 이러한 흐름에 발맞추어 각종 체질 개선 프로그램, 운동 관리, 음식 열량 프로그램들이 우후죽순으로 개발되고 있으나 단순정보 제공에 그치고 있어 지속적인 관리에는 어려움을 주고 있는 것이 현 실태이다. 이와 같은 기존시스템의 한계점을 개선하기 위해 본 논문에서는 데이터베이스를 활용하여 현대사회의 이슈가 되고 있는 건강과 서비스 산업의 점진적인 발전에 힘입은 개인 특성화 서비스의 개념을 참조 및 융합하여, 개인 맞춤형 건강관리 시스템을 제안하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to revitalize library service by examining how public and medical libraries provide health and medical information services. For this purpose, we conducted a survey of the two library types, and the results are as follows. First, more than 50% of the questions public librarians were termed "immediate answer" questions, while more than 80% of the questions medical librarians receive take up to a few days' time to answer. Public librarians were more likely to comment on the limitations of their expertise and information resources as compared to the medical librarians. Second, public librarians use mainly medical journals and websites for answering users' requests. However, medical librarians used, in almost the same ratio, all types of information resources represented in the survey questions. Third, when asking about health/medical-related training contents for performing their tasks, public and medical librarians are highly interested in all information about all health-related issues. However, while medical librarians showed high interest in all subject areas, public librarians most preferred well-being related education topics such as Information on diet and nutrition, Information about exercise and fitness, and information on quitting smoking.

The objective of this study is to examine the association of social networks and medical care utilization of elderly living alone depending on self-rated health status, and also to measure the moderating effects of welfare services for elderly. To this purpose, the data which was collected from the 2014 National Survey on Elderly in Korea was analyzed by Chi-square test and Poisson regression. According to the results, social networks and elderly welfare services affected to medical care utilization of elderly living alone, only who aware of their self-rated health status as bad. With this group, the frequency of contact with family and participation in lifelong education had a significant effect on increasing medical care utilization. In contrast, the frequency of contact with neighbors and the participation in elderly employment program were significant to reduce the utilization of medical care. Furthermore, the moderating effects of elderly welfare services were also measured that formal social gathering has an effect of increasing the medical care utilization of elderly living alone by expansion of their social networks. Based on these results, this study consequently has an implication for suggesting expansion of elderly welfare services, which might be an alternative to social networks of elderly living alone, and also for seeking the direction of political intervention that helps health promotion and disease prevention through the research of medical care utilization.
