As population ageing and shrinking accompanied by dramatically expanded individual life expectancy and declining fertility rate is a global phenomenon, ageing becomes its broader perspective of ageing well embedded into sustained health and well-being, and also the fourth industrial revolution speeds up a more robust and inclusive view of smart ageing. While the latest paradigm of SA has gained considerable attention in the midst of sharply surging demand for health and social services and rapidly declining labor force, the definition has been widely and constantly discussed. This research is to constitute a conceptual framework of smart ageing (SA) from systematic literature review and the use of a series of secondary data and Geographical Information Systems(GIS), and to explore its components. The findings indicate that SA is considered to be an innovative approach to ensuring quality of life and protecting dignity, and identifies its constituents. Indeed, the construct of SA elaborates the multidimensional nature of independent living, encompassing three spheres - Aging in Place (AP), Well Aging (WA), and Active Ageing (AA). AP aims at maintaining independence and autonomy, entails safety, comfort, familiarity and emotional attachment, and it values social supports and services. WA assures physical, psycho-social and economic domains of well-being, and it concerns subjective happiness. AA focuses on both social engagement and economic participation. Moreover, the three constructs of SA are underpinned by specific elements (right to housing, income adequacy, health security, social care, and civic engagement) which are interrelated and interconnected.

This study describes the prevalence of nutrition labelling use and its association with demographic factors, knowledge and perception of nutrition labelling, and awareness of nutrition labelling usefulness among 282 college students, aged 21~23 years, in Busan Gyeongnam area. The subjects consisted of 150 of male (53.2%) and 132 of female (46.8%) students. 31.3% of male students and 50% of female students reported reading nutrition labelling always or usually, while 34.7% of male and 13.6% of female subjects reported that they don't use nutrition labelling. Although most of the subjects perceived the need of nutrition labelling, their knowledge and understanding of nutrition labelling and their awareness of nutrition labelling usefulness were not enough to apply the information from the nutrition labelling in their daily life, even in the subjects who reported reading nutrition labelling always or usually. This statement might be one of the reasons why there were no significant differences among the groups divided by nutrition labelling use in regards to the dietary habit or snack eating habit in this study. Therefore, a practical nutrition education program on nutrition labelling should be provided for the college students to increase nutrition labelling use and to apply the information from nutrition labelling in their daily life in order to maintain healthy dietary habit.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of the social welfare service delivery system of Namyangju City on the satisfaction degree of the elderly with welfare services and on their quality of life. This study conducted a survey of the elderly aged 65 and over who were either service users or nonusers of the public-private partnership welfare service delivery system called Hope Care Center. A total of 324 copies including 205 copies of Hope Care Center users and 119 copies of nonusers were analyzed. The analysis shows that the four key elements of welfare service delivery system are statistically significant to the service users of Hope Care Center than the nonusers with the users' higher level of satisfaction with the services. However, in terms of quality of life, there was no meaningful distinction between the two groups. This indicates that services of Hope Care Center increased the satisfaction with welfare services, thereby improving users' quality of life to the level of nonusers. Further studies for the same subjects are expected to be deeper if they compare and analyze the before and after of using Hope Care Center with more comprehensive independent variables.
The residence space has been in the trend of being expanded with the J'l'cent economic growth Therefore PAC may be said to have [wen from business use to home US(: the progressed living standard as the goods ior Uw "ummel' S('dSOn rest'ntly though sold in Uw fast for mainly buslTw"s use. For example as they being the goods for the summer season I have tried to know the physical quakity and the characters of koreans by the weather conditions and estimated the demand by setting up the target customers of the PAC as the customers' environment. And I analyzed the acts in the living room in the apartments as the living envinorment which has the direct relation with PAC and also became a help to the moulding work of PAC by analyzing the complete interior image in the living room. In the practical moulding work the Design concept was classified into the envinorment of customer, living and products to drive as the below. Firstly - New shape (Round slim) has been realized which leads the minimizing the moulding space and visul sense of opening as its being spacious. The 2nd - the high class sense of the products which are harmonious with the atmosphere of the living room by making it interiorized has been visible. The 3rd - The shape stimulating the sensitivity of the users and surface treatment are emphasized by making it be touched. The 4th - During inviting use of technology image which appears in the electronics products are attemptedby making it be high quality.king it be high quality.
The appreciation of cultural properties related with what the aspects of society was is mandatory to understand our culture correctly. To make over all cultural properties to our descendants without breakage or damage is our natural duty and national obligation. On the contrary, inhabitants in the preserved area should be restricted and controlled by the cultural property law. The conflict between the inhabitants in the preserved area and the government raises economical problems and damages all the time. Especially it is time to discuss to mediate between them and solve the problems. This feasible study is a proposal to settle them up through renovating abolished school in the preserve area to the museum and a case to preserve the cultual properties as well as habitant's assets in that area.

This research aims to gain a better understanding of college students' thoughts on what factors make them happy and contribute to enhancing their happiness. We focused on the relationship between their self-assessed happiness and various factors affecting happiness, such as their socio-economic status, relationships with others, future orientation, and daily activities. Survey data were collected from October, 2014 to December, 2014 at a South Korean University. The final total number of respondents was 474 from 500 distributed questionnaires, after excluding 26 responses with missing values and unanswered items. The response was comprised of 247 male students, and 227 female students, and of 268 freshmen, 145 sophomores, 35 juniors, and 26 senior students. Factors that were statistically significant were gender, year, average cost of leisure, appearance satisfaction, conversation hour with parents, having girlfriend/boyfriend, sexual experience, number of friends, satisfaction with major, Grade Point Average (GPA), studying hours, time for self-improvement, reading hours, use of smart phone hours, number of daily meals, exercise hour, schedule management and future goal setting. This research was conducted utilizing only data from one university and so it may not be appropriate to generalize the results. Moreover, some of the variables are not in line with previous studies on happiness. Some other mediating variables may exist. Therefore, following research should be conducted.
This study evaluates the sectoral effects of the regeneration of the idle space and aims to analyze the impact relationship and structure with the quality of residents's life and local economy revitalization. this study verifies the 8 hypotheses from total 11 ones through the PLS structural equation model and suitability test for setting the hypothesis and statistical significance test. The results can be summarized into 3 parts. First, If physical, social and cultural aspects should be considered, Regeneration of idle space could meet the 2 pasts such as quality of residents life and local economy revitalization at the same time. Secondly, the regeneration of idle space from environmental aspect should be led by the local government and let it's effect leaded to local economy revitalization through the collaboration of private and public sector. As the elderly population increases, the prevalence of various geriatric chronic diseases and dementia diseases is also rapidly increasing; accordingly, dementia is becoming a major concern of our society. In this study, 48 elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment located in K district were selected from a group of experimental groups in one building and a control group in one building and evaluated for blood homocysteine levels and cognitive function changes after 4,8, and 12 weeks of taking vitamin supplements. The Chi-squared test, Fisher's Exact test, independent t-test, repeated measures ANOVA, contrast test, repeated measures ANCOVA, and Wilks' lambda test were utilized to analyze the data. The results revealed that the cognitive function of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group at 12 weeks (p<0.05), and so, the experimental group higher than that of the control group (p<0.01), the effect of taking vitamins was significantly increased, indicating that homocysteine was decreased relative to the control group. Therefore, vitamin supplements may prevent decreases in cognitive functions and dementia among elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment.

Recently, many people have attempted to combine the 4th industry in various fields. Citizen participation has also become more important in the policy making and decision making process. Therefore, this study examined ways to encourage citizen participation by integrating the 4th industry in the field of urban planning and design. The research method was to design street space using virtual reality, and to examine the preference of design and the satisfaction of using a virtual reality device for Cheongju citizens and residents. The main result is that the use of VR in the design process of street space can achieve a sufficient outcome in terms of inducing resident participation. The opinions of the respondents before and after the VR experience were different from each other. After the VR experience, understanding, participation and interest in design were improved. On the other hand, during the course of the study, there are many difficulties in obtaining a place that satisfied the conditions of the PC-VR equipment. Although it can be used by connecting a smart phone and a VR device, the constraint of free movement and degradation of the graphic quality are inevitable. In addition, it is difficult to operate simple interfaces because VR devices are not yet popularized. Accordingly, it will be necessary to popularize and commercialize VR equipment and establish a legal basis.

Objectives: A study was conducted by analysing the contents and frequency of emergency treatment practiced by emergency medical technicians(EMTs) in emergency situations and contains related factors. Methods: The study subjects included 80 EMTs who participated in ongoing education classes during the period from June 25th to June 26th, 2008. the survey included 53 EMTs employed within 119 first aid teams in fire stations in both a metropolitan city and a medium-sized city. From the survey results relation between frequency of emergency treatment and subjects characteristics explored statistically including t-test, X2 test, Pearson correlation and finally stepwise multiple regression. Results: The most frequent procedure by EMTs checking vital signs. The statistically significant related factors overall of the 23 items of emergency treatment frequency was the working area and the grading of EMT certification. In contrast, significant related factors with frequency of IV linkage were found to be the subjects gender, institution employed and the importance of recognizing the item. The statistically significant related factors of that of ECG monitoring was the gender of respondents. Conclusions: To keep the appropriate frequency of emergency treatment by EMT, active efforts to promote their individual importance and confidence cognition are necessary, especially towards males and persons who have 2nd class certification. Moreover, EMTs who work in small cities must be supported.
