Recently, fake news has attracted worldwide attentions regardless of the fields. The Hyundai Research Institute estimated that the amount of fake news damage reached about 30.9 trillion won per year. The government is making efforts to develop artificial intelligence source technology to detect fake news such as holding "artificial intelligence R&D challenge" competition on the title of "searching for fake news." Fact checking services are also being provided in various private sector fields. Nevertheless, in academic fields, there are also many attempts have been conducted in detecting the fake news. Typically, there are different attempts in detecting fake news such as expert-based, collective intelligence-based, artificial intelligence-based, and semantic-based. However, the more accurate the fake news manipulation is, the more difficult it is to identify the authenticity of the news by analyzing the news itself. Furthermore, the accuracy of most fake news detection models tends to be overestimated. Therefore, in this study, we first propose a method to secure the fairness of false news detection model accuracy. Secondly, we propose a method to identify the authenticity of the news using the social data broadly generated by the reaction to the news as well as the contents of the news.
As software systems become more complex and larger, software systems require a way to reuse software components or modules to provide new functionality. This paper designed a development method of web system combining SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) with MPSL(Multi-Software Product Line). According to provides SOA and MPSL, this paper suggested to service providers and service users to provide and reuse variable services. From the viewpoint of service provider, the suggested method identifies and implements reusable variable services as features by syntax-based, functional-based, and behavior-based methods applying feature identification guidelines and manages them as reuse assets. From the user's point of view, it is possible to develop a web system by constructing a service by workflow model as a method of structure and reconfigure services. As a result of measuring the reuse of the web system constructed in this paper by the function point, the cost reduction effect was verified by applying it to the similar project with the increase of reuse.
The purpose of this study is to empirically verify the relationship of how job stress and job satisfaction of information security professionals affect turnover intention, a precursor of actual turnover. The moderation effect of organizational justice is also explored within these causal relationships. This empirical analysis used 150 responses from information security professionals within 4 different industries. The analysis result from survey responses shows that job stress increases turnover intention, and job satisfaction decreases turnover intention, and that interactional justice, a subordinate concept of organizational justice, has a negative moderating effect at the relationship between job stress and turnover intention. The moderating effect of interactional justice, which can reduce turnover intention with warm words from managers or colleagues even when information security professionals who respond to emergencies such massive incidents are with high job stress, is a piece of important knowledge for information security managers. To reduce voluntary turnover of information security professionals from the organizational perspective, making efforts to lower job stress and raise job satisfaction and interactional justice is necessary.
As the technology hegemony war between the United States and China develops and the importance of R&D increases, countries around the world are increasing their R&D investment. In Korea, the size of R&D investment by the government and companies has steadily increased every year, and cutting-edge technologies are being developed in various fields as it shifts to the direction of creative technology development. However, the number of cases in which high-tech core technologies in Korea, which have invested a lot of budget, time, and effort, are illegally leaked overseas is also steadily increasing. Research security is an activity to safely protect protected objects in the research environment from risk factors such as leakage and deodorization, and laws and systems for research security are being reorganized not only in Korea but also in the United States and other countries around the world. In this paper we aims to derive Korea's research security policy direction, focusing on US research security cases which ranks first in R&D expenses around the world to improve the R&D system and actively discusses R&D policies and laws.
With the development of big data-related technologies, it has become possible to process vast amounts of data that could not be processed before. Accordingly, the establishment of an automated data selection and fusion process for the realization of big data-based services has become a necessity, not an option. In this paper, we propose an automation technique to create meaningful new information by fusing datasets containing spatial information. Firstly, the given datasets are embedded by using the Node2Vec model and the keywords of each dataset. Then, the semantic similarities among all of datasets are obtained by calculating the cosine similarity for the embedding vector of each pair of datasets. In addition, a person intervenes to select some candidate datasets with one or more spatial identifiers from among dataset pairs with a relatively higher similarity, and fuses the dataset pairs to visualize them. Through such semi-automatic data fusion processes, we show that significant fused information that cannot be obtained with a single dataset can be generated.
This study purposed to benchmark the number of patients who visited an oriental medicine hospital from its surrounding regions using data envelopment analysis (DEA) model, and to analyze the relationships between regional characteristics and efficiency scores from DEA. Study data was collected from one oriental medicine hospital operated in a metropolitan city in Korea. Patient locations were identified at the smallest administrative district, Dong, and number of patients was calculated at the Dong level based on the address of patients in hospital information system. Socio-demographic variables of each Dong were identified from the Statistics of Korea web-sites. DEA was used to benchmark the number of patients between Dongs and to compute the efficiency scores. Tobit regression analysis model was applied to analyze the relationship between efficiency scores and regional variables. 6 Dongs were identified as efficient after DEA. In Tobit analysis, number of medical aid recipients and number of total population in each Dong was significant in explaining the differences of efficiency scores. The study model introduced the application of DEA model in benchmarking the patients between regions. It can be applied to identify the number of patients in each region which a hospital needs to improve their performances.
The ownership structure of a franchise system is determined by the franchisor's strategic choice. A close look at the extant theories and perspectives in economics and management such as resource scarcity theory, agency theory, transaction cost analysis, and mixed ownership theory reveals that firms choose their ownership structure for the sake of economic efficiency, profit potentials, the chance of survival, and other strategic concerns. The present study, on the basis of strategic choice perspective, reviews the divergent theories of a franchise system's ownership structure and its determinants, thus providing a theoretical framework for comparing the contradictory arguments along the several critical dimensions. We also developed and tested the conflicting hypotheses regarding key determinants of ownership structure including firm's age, size, transaction-specific investments, uncertainty, and risk-sharing propensity. Using a FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document) data set of 543 Korean franchisors, we found that the years in business, the total number of employees, days of training, the inverse of the years of franchising, and the requirement of royalty payment have positive relationships with the proportion of company-owned outlets to total number of outlets. On the other hand, the proportion of company-owned outlets was found to have negative relationships with the total number of outlets and the extent of geographic dispersion of outlets, but to have no significant relationships with the initial investment required and the inverse of contract length. Based on the findings, we provide several theoretical and managerial implications for studying ownership structure of franchise systems.
As part of the ongoing global process of airlines forming strategic alliances, Korean Air has become a member of the SkyTeam Alliance, while Asiana has joined the Star Alliance. However, as something akin to the Anti-Trust Immunity(ATI) initiative has not been ratified domestically, these two airlines have seen their roles within these strategic alliances significantly reduced. In keeping with its domestic airline liberalization policy the U.S. government has instituted a mechanism through which foreign airlines that join such strategic alliances with their American counterparts can be exempt from the U.S. antimonopoly law. As a result, U.S. airlines have been able to forge wide ranging cooperative relations with foreign airlines, and thus increased their competitiveness within the air transport industry. This study analyzes the applicability of this Anti-Trust Immunity initiative to the domestic environment.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between supply chain sustainability antecedent, supply chain competence, and supply chain sustainability. The relationship between supply chain sustainability antecedence factor and supply chain competence, supply chain competence and supply chain sustainability and to identify the differences between sustainability antecedence factors, capacity and sustainability depending on the size of the firm. To accomplish this, each research hypothesis was established and the results are as follows. First, compliance with environmental regulations, NGO response activities, CSR activities, and trade fairness were found to have a significant positive impact on manufacturing agility, environmental management, and social capital. And manufacturing agility, environmental management, and social capital has been confirmed that most of the economic, environmental and social sustainability have a significant positive influence. In addition, it has been confirmed that there are differences in the factors of supply chain sustainability, capacity, and sustainability depending on the size of the company. According to the results of the study, environmental regulation compliance, NGO response activities, CSR activities, and fairness factors selected as the leading factors of supply chain sustainability play a role as fundamental prerequisites for supply chain competence to achieve sustainability. Manufacturing agility, environmental management, and the formation of social capital have confirmed that they can raise the level of economic, environmental and social sustainability. Therefore, it was confirmed that the enhancement of supply chain sustainability precedence factors can lead to enhancement of supply chain competence, and furthermore, sustainability of supply chain. Compared with large corporations, SMEs' supply chain sustainability precedence factor, capacity and sustainability should be further improved.
Recent centrally the downtown area, the transaction between the row housing and multiplex housing is activated and platform services such as Zigbang and Dabang are growing. The row housing and multiplex housing is a blind spot for real estate information. Because there is a social problem, due to the change in market size and information asymmetry due to changes in demand. Also, the 5 or 25 districts used by the Seoul Metropolitan Government or the Korean Appraisal Board(hereafter, KAB) were established within the administrative boundaries and used in existing real estate studies. This is not a district classification for real estate researches because it is zoned urban planning. Based on the existing study, this study found that the city needs to reset the Seoul Metropolitan Government's spatial structure in estimating future housing prices. So, This study attempted to classify the area without spatial heterogeneity by the reflected the property price characteristics of row housing and Multiplex housing. In other words, There has been a problem that an inefficient side has arisen due to the simple division by the existing administrative district. Therefore, this study aims to cluster Seoul as a new area for more efficient real estate analysis. This study was applied to the hedonic model based on the real transactions price data of row housing and multiplex housing. And the K-Means Clustering algorithm was used to cluster the spatial structure of Seoul. In this study, data onto real transactions price of the Seoul Row housing and Multiplex Housing from January 2014 to December 2016, and the official land value of 2016 was used and it provided by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport(hereafter, MOLIT). Data preprocessing was followed by the following processing procedures: Removal of underground transaction, Price standardization per area, Removal of Real transaction case(above 5 and below -5). In this study, we analyzed data from 132,707 cases to 126,759 data through data preprocessing. The data analysis tool used the R program. After data preprocessing, data model was constructed. Priority, the K-means Clustering was performed. In addition, a regression analysis was conducted using Hedonic model and it was conducted a cosine similarity analysis. Based on the constructed data model, we clustered on the basis of the longitude and latitude of Seoul and conducted comparative analysis of existing area. The results of this study indicated that the goodness of fit of the model was above 75 % and the variables used for the Hedonic model were significant. In other words, 5 or 25 districts that is the area of the existing administrative area are divided into 16 districts. So, this study derived a clustering method of row housing and multiplex housing in Seoul using K-Means Clustering algorithm and hedonic model by the reflected the property price characteristics. Moreover, they presented academic and practical implications and presented the limitations of this study and the direction of future research. Academic implication has clustered by reflecting the property price characteristics in order to improve the problems of the areas used in the Seoul Metropolitan Government, KAB, and Existing Real Estate Research. Another academic implications are that apartments were the main study of existing real estate research, and has proposed a method of classifying area in Seoul using public information(i.e., real-data of MOLIT) of government 3.0. Practical implication is that it can be used as a basic data for real estate related research on row housing and multiplex housing. Another practical implications are that is expected the activation of row housing and multiplex housing research and, that is expected to increase the accuracy of the model of the actual transaction. The future research direction of this study involves conducting various analyses to overcome the limitations of the threshold and indicates the need for deeper research.
