New separation technique of regional-residual gravity anomaly using geostatistical spatial filtering (공간필터링을 이용한 중력이상의 광역-잔여 이상 효과 분리)

  • In this paper, we propose a spatial filtering scheme using factorial kriging, one of geostatistical filtering methodin order to separate regional and residual gravity anomaly. This scheme is based on the assumption that regional anomalies have longer distance relation and residual anomalies have effected on smaller range. We decomposed gravity anomalies intotwo variogram models with long and short effectiveranges by means of factorial kriging. And decomposed variogram models produced the regional and residual anomalies. This algorithm was examined using by a synthetic gravity data, and applied to a real microgravity data to figure out abandoned mineshaft.

  • Numerical analysis using FLACSD has been conducted to estimate the stability of a large underground hall that is to be excavated in a mined area and constructed as an unit of a resort park. Numerical modelling is divided into two stages. The first stage is related to the analysis of the mechanical stability of the hall itself and the second to that of the influence of an adjacent mined cavity upon the hall. In the first stage, the stability of the hall is judged from the interpretation of numerical results in three respects: convergence of the unbalanced force of the model, occurrence of plastic zones and distribution of the displacement. In the second stage, variation of the stress state around the underground hall due to the existence of the cavity is compared to that in the case of the absence of the cavity. Through these analyses, it could be known that the large underground hall is not exposed to any mechanical problems and also not affected by the adjacent cavity.   • Approximately 70% of the Korean peninsula is composed of mountains, around 99,274 $km^2$. Even worse, population rate of Korea is the No.3 in the world now. Accordingly, it is necessary to develop the potential underground space actively with the concept of another territory to be utilized. The development of underground space should be considered not a choice but an indispensable issue. Since 1970s, many large-scale underground structures have been constructed like as crude-oil storage bins, liquefied petroleum gas storage caverns, and underground pumped storage powerplants. Also, In urban area, the underground facilities such as subway networks, underground shopping mall, underground pedestrian network, electric power tunnels, and car parking lots have been used extensively. The scale of Yeosu oil and gas underground storage facility and Seoul subway systems are one of the massive scale in the world. Recently, the trend of the development of underground space becomes more diverse and larger scale. The current status of Korean underground space developments and strategy are described in this paper.

  • This study is carried out to understand and analyze the cooking and processing methods presented in the CHE MIN YO SUL-Chinese books of husbandary-written in sixth century that composed of two part (agricultural production and product-utilization). Especially Ouja, Po, Suk, Keng, Hak, Jeung and Bu written in part II which studied this time. There are Eight kinds of Ouja, seven kinds of Po and Suk, Twentynine kinds of Keng and Hak, Sixteen kinds of Jeung and Bu. Ouja is something like Korean Kajamisikhae which cooked with fresh fish, dried fish, pork, rice and then seasoned. Po is a dried slice beef, poultry and fish with seasoned, Suk is a dried in original shape with seasoned. These are something like Korean dried beg, dried fish and Amchipo. Keng is a clear soup and Hak is a boiled muddy soup with cereal. Jeung is a steamed beef, poultry, fish in the earthenware steamer and Bu is a roasted in the copper pan.

Automation of Fuel Filter Manufacturing Process Via IT Convergence (IT융합기반의 연료필터 제조공정 자동화)

  • In this paper, we have developed the gantry automation system via information technology (IT) to improve the productivity of fuel filter manufacturing process. The monitoring system of manufacturing process plays an important role in analyzing the defective products as well as improving the production yield rate. The experimental results of 3 months with 10000 samples validate that the error rate is decreased from 0.65 % to 0.45 %. Also, the defect of raw material is decreased via monitoring of material tools which can notify the time for replacement and accurate insertion of raw materials to the loader. The productivity is increased by reducing the process time from 94.7 sec to 78.8 sec per raw material through comparing the whole manufacturing courses : from inserting of raw material to outcome of product. The process time is decreased by 20.2 % by automation of inserting and outcome course. Moreover, safety of worker as well as reduction of transfer time are highly related with increase of productivity.

  • Several underground cavities were found during construction of a road tunnel in 600m length . The area belong to Whasoon coalfield where extensive ground subsidences have occurred. It is necessary to find other underground cavities which might be located just near the road tunnel for safety, The field surveys and laboratory tests were conducted such as surface geological survey(672m), surface reflection seismic exploration(399m), drilling test(3 NX holes), 9 laboratory tests for rocks, 3 boreholes televiewer tests, reflection seismic exploration in tunnel(2, 342m). To estimate the effects of underground cavities on the road tunnel, 3 geological section were analysed with FLAC-2D modeling. The effects of the ground reinforcement were also analysed.

  • With the realization of the importance of the NWI, iterated by the Cheonan Ship sink and the YP-Do shelling, this thesis separates the NWI from the peninsula, regarding it separate from the Korea Theater of Operations, and suggests the method to establish NCOE with consideration to the characteristics of separated theater as well as the current situation. Although the NWI holds strategic value, systematical NCOE of surveillance and reconnaissance system, command and control system, and precision strike system is not yet established. Pertaining to this issue, Architecting was utilized to identify improvement measures and of the identified improvement measures, improvement on the "strike on nK hardened artillery sites with K-9 Self-Propelled Artillery in correlations with theater ISR" shows greatly improved strike effects when conducting simulations based on the Operation-Plan Analysis Model. Such a method of NCOE establishment will serve as a standard model for military force building and operation execution system for separated theater operations such as the NWI.

A Case Study on the Construction of Large Cross Section Tunnel for Underground Ventilation System (지하환기소 대단면 터널 시공 사례 연구)

  • This case study introduces the construction of large cross section tunnel for underground ventilation system in Sillim-Bongcheon Tunnel Project. In order to grant the safety and efficiency in connecting the ventilation shaft (7.8 m of width, and 6.6 m of height) to a tunnel for axial fan facility (20.8 m of width, and 12.3 m of height), gradual enlargement of tunnel cross section was employed between those and temporary support method was determined based on Q system. In addition, some original designs were revised during construction stage to improve the efficiency of excavation in large cross section tunnel. The advance length was optimized and top heading of the tunnel was excavated without partition in accordance with ground condition and numerical stability analysis results. It is believed that some experiences and considerations in this case study will be useful for the future design and construction in similar large cross section tunnel such as large underground ventilation system or road tunnel with four lanes.
