PayWord System using ID-based tripartite Key Agreement Protocol (ID 기반 키동의 프로토콜을 이용한 PayWord 시스템)

  • Development of an efficient and secure payment system is prerequisite for the construction of electronic payment mechanism in mobile environment. Since current PayWord protocol system generates vendor's certificate for each transaction, it requires lot of operation for transaction. In this paper, we use a session key generated by ID-based tripartite Key agreement protocol which use an Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem over finite field $F_{q}$ for transactions. Therefore, our protocol reduces algorithm operations. In particular, proposed protocol using ID-based public key cryptosystem has the advantages over the existing systems in speed and it is more secure in Man-in-the-middle attacks and Forward secrecy.

  • Immediate and serious attention on CGF(computer generated forces) behavior modeling for defense M&S (modeling & simulation) is required in response to the reduction in the number of troops and development of 4th industrial technologies. It is crucial for both military person and engineer to understand such technologies. The research aims to provide guidelines for establishment of research direction on CGF behavior modeling. We investigate traditional and/or novel methodologies such as rule-based, agent-based, and learning-based method. Discussions on future direction of applicable area and strategies are followed. We expect that the research plays a key role for understanding CGF behavior modeling.

  • IEEE WAVE is going through the final standardization process as the wireless access technology which provides drivers in high-speed vehicles with safety-related information and commercial services This paper presents an application-layer protocol for safe driving assistant service and a service system emulator based on this protocol. The safe driving assistant system includes a construction zone information service and a vehicle crash notification service, an emergency vehicle notification service, a probing service and a dilemma zone decision assistant service. Emulator System design for verifying functions of system, The emulator consists of an emulator server that models the movement of all vehicles and road states and a number of clients that models functional units for OBUs, RSUs, and a traffic control center).

  • 모바일 및 웹 어플리케이션의 통합으로 인해 모바일 사용자들이 접근할 수 있는 서비스의 수는 크게 증가했지만 사용자들은 여러 개의 사용자 이름과 패스워드를 관리해야하는 어려움을 가지고 있다. 이와 유사한 상황은 다양한 종류의 개인장비, 무선 센서, 서버, 서비스 그리고 댁내에서 네트워크화 된 기기들로 구성된 흠 네트워크 환경으로 확장될 수 있다. 최근 디지털 홈 워킹 그룹 (DHWG: Digital Home Working Group)은 보안 강화를 위해 사용자와 기기에 대한 호환성 있는 인증 및 인가 메커니즘을 위한 프레임워크를 준비할 것을 권고하고 있다. 인터넷, 인트라넷 그리고 댁내에 분산된 자원들을 사용하기 위해 각 어플리케이션에 대한 사용자의 인증 및 인가는 반드시 필요하지만 이는 보안 관리와 시스템성능 측면에서는 커다란 부담이 된다. 본 논문에서는 XML기반의 단일인증기술 표준인 SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language)을 이용한 단일인증 아키텍처를 제안한다. 제안된 아키텍처를 기반으로 모바일 및 유비쿼터스 서비스 환경에서 모바일과 홈 기기간에 서로 다른 개체의 인증 및 인가 프로파일 정보의 교환을 가능하게 하므로 분산 환경에서의 보안 관리를 강화할 수 있다. 특히 제안된 아키텍처에서는 고도의 연산능력을 필요로 하는 보안정보의 전자서명 및 암복호 작업을 유선환경에 구성된 고성능의 기기로 전가하고 모바일 기기는 사용자의 인증을 검증할 수 있는 작은 문자열 형태의 artifact를 보유하고 이를 사용자의 인증에 이용함으로써 낮은 컴퓨팅 능력과 기억용량의 한계 같은 모바일 기기의 성능적인 제약을 극복할 수 있게 한다.

  • The tracking information of objects or persons plays the important role for being advanced of the technology in the logistics management or processing. In this paper, we propose the TDOA-based localization method for port logistics environment for obtaining accurate location of a tag which is attached to some objects or persons. The proposed method consists of these modules for precision : An adaptive selection module of base reader, 2.5D locating method and position-restriction method using a map. This paper includes the performance evaluation of those methods. We could see the improved performance in the simulation. And we also implemented the system and achieved the accuracy of DRMS and CEP within 4 meters.

  • In recent days, research activities on multimedia services mainly focus on the multiplexing system with timing synchromization for media components, such as video, audio and text. The MPEG-4 standard emphasizes object-based coding which includes analysis and understanding of the Image content. Since in MPEG-4 we can define objects and encode them independently, we can manipulate and display each object for different applications. This feature of MPEG-4 is also vero useful for multimedia services, such as video streaming cia different network channels, digital versatile disc, internet TV, video E-mail, and so on. In this Paper, we implement a multimedia streaming system which is compliant with the MPEG-4 system and the MP4 file format.

  • Recently, broadcasting companies have been faced with changes in social environment, particularly, the emergence of new media, including the internet, cable TV and DMB, and in the political environment, such as convergence in broadcasting and communications media. To cope with these changes, broadcasting companies are showing increasing interest in building new broadcasting information systems. This study presents how to develop a web-based broadcasting information system for the small and medium-sized broadcasting company. For developing the system, the study describes system configuration, business function relationship diagrams and business flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, major programs, and graphic user interfaces. The newly developed web-based broadcasting information system is expected to increase business productivity to a significant extent through faster decision-making and business execution in and out of the company.

  • A biological data acquisition based on web has emerged as a powerful tool for allowing scientists to interactively view entries form different databases, and to navigate from one database to another molecular-biology database links. In this paper, the biological conceptual model is constructed hybrid biological data model to represent interesting entities in the data sources to applying navigation rule property for each biological data source based on four biological data integrating layers to control biological data. When some user's requests for application service are occurred, we can get the data from database and data source via web service. In this paper, we propose a query processing model and execution structure based on integrating data layers that can search information on biological data sources.

  • Failure situations occur frequently in the industry, and the existing 2D-based manual for this purpose is not intuitive to understand and it is difficult to immediately interact with maintenance experts. In this paper, we propose a technology that enables workers to perform maintenance in real time with the help of experts without restrictions in time and place based on augmented reality when a failure situation occurs at a remote location. A local virtual human-based expert diagnoses a failure situation based on an adapted panoramic image of a remote failure situation while wearing an HMD headset, and gives instructions to a remote operator. In addition, in an augmented reality (AR) environment in a remote location, for the interaction between the operator and the expert, the HMD's microphone is used to create the expert's hand as well as verbal communication. You can use to point or draw a picture. If this technology is used, it is possible to overcome the limitations of the existing 2D-based manual, and to provide assistance in performing maintenance smoothly remotely even if an expert does not directly visit a remote location.

Acceleration Technique in Particle-based Collision Detection Using Cone Area Based Dynamic Collision Regions (부채꼴 영역 기반의 동적인 충돌 영역을 이용한 입자 기반 충돌 검사의 고속화 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose a framework that can perform acceleration collision detection efficiently by using a cone based collision area in a particle-based system which requires collision detection with many objects. Three conditions determine particle and cone-based collision regions: 1) If there is a cone position within the radius of the adjacent particle, 2) In the case where the position of the adjacent particle exists in the cone area, 3) When adjacent particles exist between two vectors forming a cone area. As a result, it is defined that when the above conditions are all satisfied, the particle and the region of a cone have collided. In this paper, we automatically update the area of the cone, which is the collision detection area, according to the particle movement. Determine the direction and length of the cone based on the position and velocity of the particle to calculate the dynamic change of the cone. Collision detection is performed quickly using only the particles in the finally calculated area. The acceleration method proposed in this paper is simple to implement because it is executed with a closed form equation instead of explicitly creating the tree data structure, and collision inspection performance is improved in all results.
