Identifying Research Issues for ICT-Enabled Bright Society Initiative: A Delphi Study of Korean Academics (Bright ICT 지향을 위한 경영정보학 연구 동향: 연구자 그룹을 통한 델파이 분석)

  • The arrival of the Smart Age has allowed the mature development of information and communication technology (ICT), which increasingly affects our societies and daily lives. Aligned with the contextual background, the Association of Information Systems, which comprised MIS professors, selected ICT-enabled Bright Society Initiative as a future agenda in December 2014. This study employs the Delphi method, which involves the three steps of brainstorming, clustering, and ranking, to deliver the main purposes of the research: finding the agenda items to examine the Bright ICT Initiative, ranking these items strategically, and discussing the subprograms. The research findings discover 11 major issues, and the importance of each issue is ranked by analyzing the survey. Furthermore, how the levels of the importance of each issue that affects individuals, corporations, and societies/nations differ according to age and gender is studied.

  • 고객관리가 대두되면서 고객유지 및 관리를 위한 마케팅 기법 중에서 중요한 것이 마일리지 적립마케팅이며, 대표적인 방식으로 자바 카드(Java card)와 같은 스마트 카드 방식 및 스티커 또는 쿠폰, 도장을 이용한 방식을 들 수 있다. 그러나 현재 많은 업계에서 도입한 마일리지 관리가 오히려 다수의 마일리지 카드 소지로 인해 고객에게 불편함을 주고 있다. 몇몇 기업에서는 같은 계열사의 마일리지를 통합 관리하는 방식을 선보였으나, 불편함을 줄이기엔 역부족이었다. 본 논문에서는 현재 국내 및 전 세계에서 스마트폰 이용이 확산되고 있는 시점에서 스마트 폰의 한 종류인 애플사의 아이폰 어플리케이션, 즉 앱(App)을 활용하여 개인의 마일리지를 보다 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 마일리지 통합 관리 시스템을 제안한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a PC-based water supply facilities information system. This system will be a major stepping-stone for developing Geographic Information Systems(GIS) in Korea, which is constructed by integrating the technologies related to Automated Mapping(AM) systems and Facilities Management(FM) system. And the results of this study are as follows: (1) After the user needs assessment, it was decided that information management of the water supply facilities including distribution pipes, valves, and leaking management are the most urgent tasks. So, the system was developed focusing on these tasks. (2) After the system design and development, the water supply facilities information system consists of graphic database management system, attribute database management system, internal interface that links graphic data and attribute data, and graphic user interface for user-friendliness. (3) The graphic data and the attribute data including distribution pipes, leading-pipes, valves, and parcels at the study area, Non-Hyun Dong Kang-Nam Gu in Seoul, were used in this system, and the water supply facilities database was established. It was applied to test these facilities, and proved that the system developed in this study is efficient to manage information within the scope of this study. (4) The function using the parcel identification number was efficient to locate the address concerned.

  • In this study, based on Privacy Calculus Model, we study whether users' intention of continuous use of closed-type SNS is affected by information privacy concern. In addition, we propose a model that studies if the major factors of the intention of continuous use which are trust, satisfaction and benefits could control the information privacy concern's effect on the intention of use. As a result, companies have to consider protecting the psychological privacy and information privacy of the individual when they design SNS.

  • In this study the hospitality industry's leading companies, hotel companies affect the relationship between the performance information system, customer orientation, service orientation, to identify the target. Convenience extraction methods to Employees engaged in hotel in Seoul & Busan sampling was investigated. In order to derive the results of the study, the study hypothesis was based Information System for customer orientation service orientation, affect the relationship between the performance was investigated. Service orientation and customer orientation significantly affected, but the results of the hypothesis testing, the usefulness of information system technology acceptance model for ease of service orientation and customer orientation in the not significantly affect was not. Service orientation and customer orientation, business performance, but significant results derived significant personal achievements the results derived were not.

  • 정보이용자연구는 정보추구자들이 중심이 되는 이용자 중심으로 패러다임 전환이 이루어졌고 연구과정에 보다 관심을 가지게 되었으며, 정보추구자의 특성과 요구를 알기 위한 많은 시도가 이루어지고 있으며, 개인적인 정보제공자와 더 많은 시간을 보내고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 시도와 노력을 통하여 개발되는 정보이용행태 모형은 이용자를 이해하고 기술하는 깊이가 심화되는 현상을 나타내고 있다. 정보이용자연구는 도서관업무 및 정보서비스의 모든 분야에 걸쳐 이해의 기초가 되는 영역으로, 연구결과 및 지금까지 도출된 많은 모형들이 상황에 맞게 정보 서비스, 정보시스템, 도서관 정책결정 및 경영 등의 영역에서 고려되고 적용되고 있다.

The Impacts of Convergence Hospital Information System Quality on Satisfaction and Performance (융복합 병원정보시스템 품질이 시스템 만족과 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a success model for hospital information system(HIS) based on the information system success model proposed by DeLone and McLearn. This study was conducted to examine the relationships among hospital information system quality such as information quality, system quality, and service quality, user satisfaction, individual performance, and hospital performance. The information quality was examined as accuracy and timeliness, the system quality as security and reliability, and the service quality as convenience and playfulness. We collected 209 questionnaires from hospital employees from October to December 2020, analyzed the structural equation model using AMOS 25. According to the analysis results, The information accuracy in the hospital information system had an effect on user satisfaction, but the timeliness did not. System security and reliability affected user satisfaction, but convenience did not. On the other hand, enjoyment had a positive effect on user satisfaction, and user satisfaction was found to have a positive effect on individual and hospital performance. The results of this study will be able to provide meaningful guidelines for researchers and practitioners in healthcare as well as hospital information systems.

  • To ensure continued existence, an organization must develop ways to share the knowledge that is possessed within the organization with the people who need, or who will need, that knowledge. Improving the efficiency of knowledge sharing is a highly desirable goal, but the issue of how best to motivate individuals to share their most valuable knowledge is not yet completely resolved. This paper aims to provide a sharing model on job related knowledge. Also, it intends to look for the factors that facilitate knowledge sharing among individuals in an organization. The research model is based on the technology acceptance model and it includes the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude and intention to share constructs. Also, two external variables namely organizational culture and system quality were added. However, the actual use was excluded. In the research model, all hypotheses were found to be significant except one, which is the hypothesis that perceived usefulness will positively affect the intention to share.

  • 개개인의 데이터가 비즈니스적으로 중요하지 않을 수 있지만, 대량으로 모으면 그 안에 숨겨진 새로운 정보를 발견할 가능성이 있는 데이터의 집합체로 빅데이터 분석 활용 사례는 점차 늘어나는 추세이다. 빅데이터 분석 기술 중 전통적인 데이터 분석방법인 하둡(Hadoop)은 예전부터 현재에 이르기까지 정형 비정형 빅데이터 분석에 널리 사용되고 있는 기술이다. 하지만 하둡은 배치성 처리 시스템으로 데이터가 많아질수록 응답 지연이 발생할 가능성이 높아, 현재 기업 경영환경과 시장환경에 대한 엄청난 양의 고속 이벤트 데이터에 대한 실시간 분석이 어려운 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 급변하는 비즈니스 환경에 대한 대안으로 오픈소스 CEP(Complex Event Processing)기반 기술을 사용하여 초당 수백에서 수십만건 이상의 이벤트 스트림을 실시간으로 지연 없이 분석가능하게 하는 실시간 분석 시스템을 개발하여 병원 ERP시스템에 적용하였다.

  • AI-driven news recommendation systems are widely used today, providing personalized news consumption experiences. However, there are significant concerns that these systems might increase users' information bias by mainly showing information from limited perspectives. This lack of diverse information access can prevent users from forming well-rounded viewpoints on specific issues, leading to social problems like Filter bubbles or Echo chambers. These issues can deepen social divides and information inequality. This study aims to explore how AI-based news recommendation services affect users' perceived information bias and to create a foundation for ethical principles in AI services. Specifically, the study looks at the impact of ethical principles like accountability, the right to explanation, the right to choose, and privacy protection on users' perceptions of information bias in AI news systems. The findings emphasize the need for AI service providers to strengthen ethical standards to improve service quality and build user trust for long-term use. By identifying which ethical principles should be prioritized in the design and implementation of AI services, this study aims to help develop corporate ethical frameworks, internal policies, and national AI ethics guidelines.
