  • We focused on the care effectiveness of the interactive AI robots. developed an AI toy robot called 'Agaya' to contribute to personalization with more human-centered care. First, by applying P-TTS technology, you can maximize intimacy by autonomously selecting the voice of the person you want to hear. Second, it is possible to heal in your own way with good memory storage and bring back memory function. Third, by having five senses of the role of eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and hands, seeking better personalised services. Fourth, it attempted to develop technologies such as warm temperature maintenance, aroma, sterilization and fine dust removal, convenient charging method. These skills will expand the effective use of interactive robots by elderly people and contribute to building a positive image of the elderly who can plan the remaining old age productively and independently

  • 본 논문에서는 바 코드리더로 그 정보를 읽어 낼 수 있지만, 시각적인 인쇄오류가 있는 바 코드를 고속으로 검출해 내는 방법을 제안한다. 바 코드는 해당 제품의 제품정보 및 키를 저장하기 위하여 주로 사용되어 왔다. 근래에 들어 바 코드의 활용범위가 점점 넓어지게 되면서 잘못 인쇄된 바 코드로 인하여 차후에 발생할 수 있는 시간적 경제적 손실을 줄이기 위하여 인쇄된 바 코드가 공장에서 나가기 전에 바 코드가 정확하게 인쇄되었는지를 검사하는 것이 중요하게 되었다. 특히 상품이 아니라 고객카드와 같이 바 코드 소유자의 정보를 저장하는 수단으로도 활용하는 경우는 개인이 자신의 카드를 소지하게 되므로 바 코드에 담겨있는 정보도 중요하지만 바 코드의 인쇄상태 또한 중요하다. 이는 바 코드리더로 제대로 읽혀진다 하더라도 시각적인 인쇄오류가 있는 경우 해당 고객으로부터 불만을 사게 되고 새 카드로 교체를 요구받게 되기 때문이다. 이 경우 회사의 이미지 실추는 물론 카드 교체에 따른 시간적 경제적 손실을 보게된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 바 코드의 높이가 모두 동일한 1차원(선형)바 코드를 대상으로 바 코드의 열 동질성을 이용한 시각적인 인쇄오류가 있는 바 코드를 검출해 내는 방법을 제안한다.

Analysis of Preference Criteria for Personalized Web Search (개인화된 웹 검색을 위한 선호 기준 분석)

  • With rapid increase in the number of web documents, the problem of information overload in Internet search is growing seriously. In order to improve web search results, previous research studies employed user queries/preferred words and the number of links in the web documents. In this study, performance of the search results exploiting these two criteria is examined and other preference criteria for web documents are analyzed. Experimental results show that personalized web search results employing queries and preferred words yield up to 1.7 times better performance over the current search engine and that the search results using the number of links gives up to 1.3 times better performance. Although it is found that the first of the user's preference criteria for web documents is the contents of the document, readability and images in the document are also given a large weight. Therefore, performance of web search personalization algorithms will be greatly improved if they incorporate objective data reflecting each user's characteristics in addition to the number of queries and preferred words.

  • "Time versus money effect" refers to a favorable shift in consumers' responses activated by time(vs. money). In general, how people spend their time or money could reflect one's personal identity. Previous research indicates that drawing individuals' attention to time makes more effective in product satisfaction rather than money. Also, whereas because time is experienced as an experience, time activates more positive product satisfaction for experiential product rather than materialistic product, money has the reverse effect because money relates with possessions. Present study examined the effect of time and money on consumers' attitudes and decisions and the role of product type including smartphone. In experiment 1, participants evaluated their experiences or their own products(family restaurant, smartphone, premium jean). They satisfied more with their smartphones when activated by time than by money. In experiment 2, 3 image ads, a promotion image ad for each product(family restaurant, smartphone, premium jean), were offered to find the effect of time and money in promotion ads. The interaction effects between activating condition and product type were revealed on the product attitudes, product satisfaction, purchase intent, and personal connection reflecting the consistent time effect on smartphone. In addition, the main effect of the activating condition was significant which meant time activating ads were more effective than money activating ads.

  • 산업재해라고 하면 으레 육중한 기계장비가 시끄럽게 돌아가는 공장이나 위험이 항상 도사리는 건설공사현장과 같이 육체노동을 주로 요하는 사업장엣 일어나는 사고를 떠올리곤 한다. 그러나 현대 산업사회에서는 오히려 업무와 관련한 스트레스나 과로, 정신적 노동으로 인한 질병 등에 의한 산업재해가 많은 비중을 차지하고 있고, 법원 역시 근로자인 원고 측에서 인관관계를 구체적이고 직접적으로 입증하지 못하더라도 어느 정보 개연성이 인정된다면 산업재해를 인정해 주는 추세에 있다. 근로자에게 예상치 못한 재해가 발생하면 피해자 개인에게도 매우 불행하고 힘든 일이지만, 회사 입장에서도 금전적 측면에서나 대외적 이미지 면에서 큰 손실이 아닐 수 없다. 그래서 산업재해를 당한 근로자에게 신속하게 보상이 이루어지도록 하고, 사업주(기업가)에게는 갑작스러운 경제적 부담을 덜어주기 위해 산재보험제도가 도입된 것이다. 회사를 위해 열심히 일하다 재해를 입은 직원의 조속한 업무복귀를 도모하고 기업의 사회적 책무를 다 하기 위해서라도 기업을 경영하는 사업주 역시 산업재해에 대해 기본적인 지식을 알아 둘 필요가 있다.

A New Graphical Password Scheme Based on Universal Design (유니버설 디자인에 기반을 둔 새로운 그래픽 패스워드 기법)

  • Graphical passwords using images have been developed to solve problems in text based password recognition. The basic recognition process scheme of graphical passwords is clicking certain points on the screen image in correct order. In this pre-developed method of graphical passwords the recognition will fail if the precise positions are not clicked. A new graphical password system called PassPositions is introduced in this paper. PassPositions is a new graphical password scheme which is using relative positions never used earlier graphical password schemes. PassPositions is a graphical password scheme based on universal design that everybody can use conveniently without regarding their physical conditions.

  • Social network service users actively express and share their feelings about social issues and content of interest through postings. As a result, the sharing of emotions among individuals and community members in social network is spreading rapidly. Therefore, resulting in active research of emotion analysis on posting of users. However, There is insufficient research on emotion analysis for postings containing various emotions. In this paper, we propose a method that analyzes the emotions of an Instagram posts using hashtags and images. This method extracts representative emotion from user posts containing multiple emotions with 66.4% accuracy and 81.7% recall, which improves the emotion classification performance compared to the previous method.

Web Search Personalization based on Preferences for Page Features (문서 특성에 대한 선호도 기반 웹 검색 개인화)

  • Web personalization has focused on extracting web pages interesting to users, to help users searching wanted information efficiently on the web. One of the main methods to achieve this is by using queries, links and users' preferred words in the pages. In this study, we surveyed from the web users the features of pages that are considered important to themselves in selecting web pages. The survey results showed that the content of the pages is the most important. However, images and readability of the page are rated as high as the content for some users. Based on this result, we present a method for maintaining relative weights of major page features differently in the profile for each user, which is used for personalizing web search results. Performance of the proposed personalization method is analyzed to prove its superiority such that it yields as much as 1.5 times higher rate than the system utilizing both queries and preferred words and about 2.3 times higher rate than a generic search engine.

  • Nowadays, a private protection act has come into effect which demands for the protection of personal image information obtained by the CCTV. According to this act, the object out of interest has to be mosaicked such that it can not be identified before the image is sent to the investigation office. Meanwhile, the demand for digital videos obtained by CCTV is also increasing for digital forensic. Therefore, due to the two conflicting demands, the demand for a solution which can automatically mask an object in the CCTV video is increasing and related IT industry is expected to grow. The core technology in developing a target masking solution is the object tracking technique. In this paper, we propose an object tracking technique which suits for the application of CCTV video object masking as a postprocess. The proposed method simultaneously uses the motion and the color information to produce a stable tracking result. Furthermore, the proposed method is based on the centroid shifting method, which is a fast color based tracking method, and thus the overall tracking becomes fast.

  • 최근 기업에서 고객만족 차원의 대고객만족 활동으로써 고객접점센터를 운영하고 있으며, 고객만족은 기업의 이미지와 궁극적인 수익 창출로 연결되는 전략적 차원으로 비약적인 발전을 도모하고 있다. 또한 고객만족의 경영의 일환으로 고객감동은 지속적인 고객 관계 관리를 통해서 가능하며 이것은 고객접점센터 종사자원들이 고객과의 일대일로 직접 만나는 고객응대 서비스 품질에 의해서 좌우 된다. 그러나 대고객접점센터 종사원들은 이직률이 높고 직업 만족도가 낮아 기업의 조직성과에 부정적인 요소로 보고되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 관점에서 대고객접점센터 종업원들을 대상으로 직무스트레스와 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 개인 특성별 요인들에 대한 스트레스의 차이와 스트레스가 직무성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증적으로 분석하기 위한 개념적 모형을 제시하였다.
