Exploring the Factors of Decision Making by the Psychological Power of Smartphone (스마트폰의 심리적 파워에 의한 의사결정 요인 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore factors that influence decision making for smartphone users. This study sets intimacy, personal connection, use & dependence, familiarity and expertise, efficacy and effectance, self-identity, and control as independent variables and sets decision making as dependent variables. In this study, 200 smartphone users were collected and analyzed through questionnaires, and Smartpls 3.0 was used to understand the impact between variables. Five of the six factors that affected smartphone users' psychological strength were analyzed to have affected their decision-making. In addition, we examined the relationship between psychological effects and use period as a control variable. The results of this study can be used as a basis for the consumer behavior of smartphone devices in the development of smartphone devices.

  • Currently mobile messenger industry, based on mobile application, is growing. And it has aroused innovative change, offering services in various forms beyond the form simply sharing messengers. Also because messenger securities are becoming personalized and intelligent, the importance of more diverse mobile applications' securities is increasing. This study carries out the empirical study of the causal relationship that the factors of using application services influence on security recognition and security Intention of mobile securities, and consequentially impact upon protection of personal information of users. In order that, we present the research model which prime variables of SDT, which emphasized on natural immanent motivation of human, applied to. To verify the research model of this study empirically, we conducted a survey targeting the public and university students which have ever used mobile messenger applications. With this, we desire to contribute to emphasizing the significance of individual messenger security and playing a positive role to develop security guide for consumers. The path analysis results are as follows. First, perceived autonomy has a positive effect on both security awareness and security intention. Second, perceived competence has a positive effect on security intention. Third, perceived relatedness has a positive effect on both security awareness and security intention. Last, security awareness and security intention. have a positive effect on privacy protection behavior. Through emphasizing the importance of the security of the messenger of individuals and contribute to a positive role for development of the necessary security guidelines to consumers.

  • Organizational factors and personal traits are two elements of widely acknowledged relevance in employees' organizational outcomes in hotel industry. Personal traits especially need to be further examined as a consideration for employment. As one of the personal traits that provide capability to manage emotions, emotional intelligence is selected. The empirical objective of this study is to investigate the effects of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction and organizational commitment in a structural model. To conduct research questions, five star deluxe hotel employees in Korea are targeted to be surveyed. Descriptive statistics and multivariate analysis of variance, and structural equation modeling(SEM) are utilized employing SPSS and AMOS 4.0 to analyze the survey results. It was found that the components of perceiving emotions and understanding emotions predicted job satisfaction. Relatively perceiving emotions presented a higher impact on each dimension of job satisfaction. Satisfaction with co-workers and communication can also explain the level of hotel employees' organizational commitment. Broadly speaking, the results suggest that effective psychotherapeutic or reciprocative programs should be integrated into hotel training contents for emotional intelligence development.

A Study on the Factors Affecting Suicidal Ideation in People with Mental Disabilities (정신장애인 자살생각에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate factors that affect the suicidal ideation of the people with mental disabilities. To this end, the independent variables were analyzed by categorizing them into individual psychological factors, social factors, and demographic characteristics. The analysis data include 969 people with mental disabilities who participated in the 2017 Ministry of Health and Welfare's Research, 'Survey on the Current Status of Mental Disabilities in Community'. The analysis method was frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis with SPSS 23.0. As a result of the study, in terms of individual psychological factors, the higher the depression and the lower the mental health confidence, the more suicidal ideation increase. In terms of social factors, the more unregistered disabled groups, the more exposure to violence and discrimination, and the more they live in large cities, the higher their ideation of suicidal. The regression model explained 26.9% of suicidal ideation. The practical and policy implications for the prevention of suicide of the people with mental disabilities based on these results are as follows: First, social factors should be evaluated and considered together, rather than focusing only on individual psychological factors, in seeking policies and intervention programs that reduce suicidal ideation in the people with mental disabilities. Second, in seeking suicide prevention policies for the people with mental disabilities, Protection & Advocacy services should be provided to reduce violence and discrimination experiences. Third, in order to reduce the suicidal ideation of the people with mental disabilities, the mental disability registration system should be reorganized, and policy alternatives should be devised so that those experiencing mental distress can be included into the system.

Factors Affecting the Intention to Use of Personal Cloud Computing Service: A Case of Chinese Users (개인용 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스 수용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인: 중국 사례)

  • As the Cloud Computing services are growing fast in the world, the number of Cloud Computing service users are being increased enormously in China. Studies on Intention-to-Use have been one of the interesting topics in the field of marketing. In this paper we investigate the factors influencing the intention-to-use of Cloud Computing services in China. Our research model is based on Technology Acceptance Model and includes 'privacy', 'information needs', 'service types', 'service appropriation', 'system quality', and 'system security'. We surveys the Chinese Cloud Computing service users and analyzes with Structural Equation Model. The results show that 'privacy', 'service appropriation', 'system quality', and 'system security' give positive effects to 'intention-to-use'. However, 'information needs' and 'service types' does not give positive effects.

  • The market of smartphone applications grows rapidly. We studied to evaluate empirically how personality variables related to personal attitudes(innovativeness and affinity) and information quality(interaction, content, and contextual) can affect use intention and customer loyalty in smartphone applications. The results of the study are as follows: Innovativeness, content quality and contextual quality were found to have a positive effect on intentions to use smartphone applications. However affinity and interactivity were found to have a negative effect on use intention. And use intention was found to have negative effect on customer loyalty for smartphone applications.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 전통적으로 남성 주도적인 전문직 진출을 희망하는 여대생(이 연구에서는 법률가 및 의사직, 이하 비 전통적인 여성이라 부름)과 전통적으로 여성 주도적인 전문직 진출을 준비중인 여대생 (이 연구에서는 교사 및 간호사직, 이하 전통적으로 여성 이라 부름)을 구분 할수 있는 개인의 성격 및 가족환경의 특성을 검토하는 것이었다. 남성 주도적인 전문직에 진출을 준비하거나 그 분야에 종사하는 여성들의 특성에 대한 연구가 많이 발표되었으나 그 특징들의 중요성이 상대적으로 얼마나 비중이 있는지는 연구되어 있지 않다. 발단론적 환경이론(Developmental-Contextualism)과 직업 발달에 대한 역동적 상호관계 모델(Dynamic Interaction Model)이 본 연구의 이론적 체계를 이루고 있다. 이 연구에 포함성의 위치, 심리적 남성특성, 출신가정의 사회경제수준, 그리고 부모의 뒷받침과 이해였다. ANOVA 결과에 의하면 비전통적인 여성들이 자아존중감, 학교성적 성취도, 내적 통제성, 심리적 남성특성, 그리고 출신가정의 사회경제수준 면에서 전통적인 여성에 비해 훨씬 높은 수준을 나타내었다. 단계적 분별 분석 (Stepwise Discriminant Analysis) 결과에 따르면, 심리적 남성 특성, 내적 통제성, 학교성적 성취도, 그리고 출신가정의 사회경제수준이 위 두집단의 여성들을 분별하는 가장 뛰어난 특성들이었으며 전체 표본의 76.99%가 이 요인들에 의해 정확하게 분류되었다. 이 연구의 결과를 토대로 볼 때, 역동적 상호관계모델은 여성의 직업발달을 연구하는데 있어서 이론정립과 검사에 유효한 도구로 보이며, 이 연구에 포함한 변수들은 비 전통적인 여성들의 특성을 정확하게 묘사하는데 상당한 공헌을 하고 있었다. 마지막으로, 비전통적인 여성들의 직업발달을 연구하는데 있어서 "능력특성군(Competency-related traits)"의 변수들을 좀 더 정확하게 분류할 필요가 있으며, 이 변수들과 여성의 직업발달의 관계를 자세히 연구할 필요가 있다고 본다.요가 있다고 본다.

  • Objective: This study was conducted in order to investigate the effects of individual patient behavior regarding the health and medical care level on their therapeutic compliance for people diagnosed with high blood pressure by a physician, in order to evaluate the impact of treatment compliance. In this study, the therapeutic compliance was defined as the hypertension drug cure rate. The current blood pressure controls were persons about 30 years of age diagnosed with high blood pressure by their doctor one month fraction of the people who take more than 20 days (30 days). Methods: The data was analyzed by using the X2-test for different comparisons of the therapeutic compliance in the individual characteristics and using a two-stage multilevel logistic regression to identify the community variance of the related index of high blood pressure therapeutic compliance using the data from 229 adults over the age of 19 in a community health survey conducted in 2010. The Spss 18.0 statistical program was used with HLM 7 (hierarchical linear model) Results: It was found that the rate of therapeutic compliance was affected by the individual health behavior and health and medical care levels.   • This work is intended to investigate how the factors of enterprise mobile SNS affect user satisfaction and continuous use intention through technology acceptance model proposed by Davis. To achieve the purpose, this researcher explored Information Systems Success model proposed by DeLone & McLean, Technology Acceptance Model proposed by Davis, and Model after Acceptance, and on the basis of the investigation, performed a study. For the data of this work, 9 enterprises, each of which has more than 100 employees and is located in Seoul, were chosen, and a questionnaire survey was conducted on their 276 employees who experienced enterprise mobile SNS. As a data collection tool, a structured self-administered questionnaire was used. For data analysis, SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used for applying Structural Equation modelling. According to the results of this work, three factors of enterprise mobile SNS-systematic factor (system quality, information quality, and service quality), user factor (personal innovation and personal familiarity), social factor (social effects and social interaction)-affected user satisfaction and continuous use intention through perceived availability, perceived easiness, and perceived enjoyment. Also, it was found that the direction of effects matched a theoretical prediction. And, it was revealed that the decision variables and mediating variables significantly affected user satisfaction and continuous use intention. Theoretical and practical meanings were discussed for the study result, and some suggestions were made for the issues of this work and future studies.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out what are the factors that influence christian characteristics among christian theology major and non major students. Among the diversity factors, especially focused on studies of faith character variable and satisfaction of chapel, and how much these factors affect and how it correlates and what affects the most between christian theology major and non major students. This study has been surveyed to students who are enrolled in B University. As a result, christian theology major students have larger portion of Christian characteristics than non major students. Additionally students who are satisfied with chapel, having personal prayer time, meditation time, spending longer hour with bible and involving church activities have highly established christian personalities upon students.
